    By measuring noise level, vacuum pressure and air speed, you automatically get a like, sir!! I hate the fact that none of these specs appear on the boxes nor websites here in my country. I haven't even watched the video yet (came from your website) and already congratulate you!!!

    mate, honestly love your approach to providing user-relevant context to the features and metrics. Convinced me to buy this vacuum with your balanced approach. Sidenote: I wear-test outdoor technical clothing and always strive to give context based approach to adjectives companies throw out in the marketing material that doesn't mean much or outright misleading. Nice job breaking down the numbers and providing meaningful commentary

      Hey mate, if you’re going to pick up any fine dust I’d swerve this one hard and look at a Dyson cinetic vac, we had this for a year and I used it for plaster dust a few times and while it’s not meant for it I thought it would do an ok job but it just clogs and overheats like no tomorrow meaning I have to wash the filters once a week. Just bought a Dyson cinetic big ball animal and while the price stings it is an infinitely better vacuum and the cinetic technology is severely underrated. No clogs no overheating and as much plaster dust as I can throw at it. The Miele is now relegated to a dust collector for my mitre saw.

    Great review. Don’t worry about your English, it’s good and will only get better with more practice! I’m glad that unlike other channels you actually lift the head of the floor to suck up the larger bits- like what would happen in the real word! 😂
    Just wanted to mention that the third hard floor head that was shown in the videos appears to be from an AEG/Electrolux, not this Miele.
    Keep up the good work! 🙂

      Hi Tom, first of all thanks for your comment! Great to hear!
      Oops! 🙈 You're absolutely right: it's the suction brush of the AEG VX82-1-ÖKO (which I'm reviewing here: th-cam.com/video/EuixEFlp-xQ/w-d-xo.html). I'm going to comment on it below this video. Thanks again for your comment and I hope to see you soon on my other videos! Greets, Rob!

    These were just released for sale in the US, so your review was exactly what I was looking for. I have a Miele Compact C2 (SDCE0) and I love the lightweight canister and excellent filtration. The feature that attracted me to the CX1 are the big wheels - the C2 has three clumsy little ones and at times, they cause the canister to list to one side. Not sure I'm ready to give up on the bagged canister, it's so clean and easy to dispose of dirt and the vacuum is pretty quiet. I'm hoping Miele will incorporate these big wheels on canister models in the future. By the way, Rob, your English is fine - I understood everything you said perfectly well - and I love the accent. Thank you for posting this review!

    I really wish there was an electric power nozzle option for the CX1 Boost. The Blizzard has one, sure. But the CX1 Blizzard’s exhaust filter can only be replaced by a dealer for $200 + dollars. The Boosts exhaust filter can easily be replaced by the user at home for 1/4 that cost. The Boost is also much smaller and easier to maneuver. Plus, it appears to have a better filtration seal design than the Blizzard. In nearly every way it is an upgraded design from the Blizzard. It has so many improvements over that model that I thought I was replacing the Blizzard. For now, I guess I will live with my C3 and Blizzard.

    Important note/Update: in my video I show 'extra parquet brush' at 1.05 min. This is a mistake: it concerns a brush from an AEG vacuum cleaner. So you don't get this in the package.

    The CX1 boost is nice but, wish it had an optional power nozzle so those who want a compact bagless Miele and have wall to wall carpet can get that extra agitation that the turbo brush has. However, I definitely prefer bags over bagless and love a well built bagged canister vacuum cleaner with a power nozzle so I get the maneuverability of a canister and the carpet agitation of an upright vacuum.

    • @Cleaning_Hero
      @Cleaning_Hero ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wish this as well. Miele is not thinking clearly apparently. I do not understand why they did not offer this with a power nozzle. I mainly wanted to switch from the Blizzard to the Boost because it’s exhaust filter is replaceable by the user at home for 1/4 of what it costs to replace the Blizzard’s exhaust filter. I also have a Miele C3, and that is the one I use the most. It is the main downstairs vacuum. The Blizzard is used upstairs.

    Coming from using Dyson DC02 and DC20 cylinder vacuum cleaners (which I also still use), the Boost CX1 I am now using is _very_ much quieter. I you think the CX1 is noisy, you should try a Dyson DC02 or DC20 for measure; you'll need hearing protection with those... 😮

    I bought Mieles original Blizzard bagless, and performance was great, but I hated emptying the dust bin, dust and other things just go everywhere. Sold that and then tried the Miele Triflex, while also great, the head isn't the best for hard flooring, only good for carpet, plus emptying is the same issue, dust everywhere. Sad I sold my older bagged Mieles, just have the old Hybrid Bagged Miele which I use often but it's so heavy. How is this thing to empty and keep clean? With the bagged, it's so easy, empty the bag, no dust no mess. How would you rate this one? My allergies are very severe. Cheers

    • @Vacuumtester
      @Vacuumtester  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi there!
      First of all, thanks for watching my video.
      One of the biggest disadvantages of a bagless vacuum cleaner is emptying the dust container: you often come into contact with dust and dirt while empyting the vac. I recommend that you empty the vacuum cleaner outside whenever possible. In addition, it is smart to wash and replace the filters of a bagless vacuum cleaner more often (if possible). I have an interesting article on Vacuumtester.com about how and how often you should clean a HEPA filter: www.vacuumtester.com/hepa-filter-replacement/.
      Good to know: I also recently tested the Miele Triflex HX1 Power. Watch my findings in the review video: th-cam.com/video/QIH7hNkUceE/w-d-xo.html
      I hope I helped you a little more! Please let me know if you would like more information about cleaning your vacuum cleaner.
      Greets,
      Rob

    Hi, I need to choose a new vacuum cleaner since my old one is like dead😅 I’ve been thinking about something cheaper, but maybe it it worth it to get something that can handle a lot of fur better. What would you choose, this one (in cat&dog version) or Miele C3 Cat&Dog? Which has better suction power? Thanks🎉

    I'm still not sold on the Parquet brush-head. Those bristles scream "hair gets stuck here" to me. I have mostly stone floors with area rugs, and I have pets. So I need a combo that will SEAMLESSLY and EASILY go from the bare stone floor and then to my area rugs to give them a good brush/vacuum, without having to change vacuum head. Any suggestions??

However paying extra for the "Parquet" attachment isn't worth it imho, the multi-floor head it comes with is excellent on hard floods and rugs so save the cash as its like €30-50 more and really not needed.

    I have this unit and I hate it. It has a high suction power but the attached brushes have too much openings on the sides and real life suction power is just low, comparing to the classic Miele bag vacuum cleaner ( I still have the old Miele bag unit). you need to replace a main filter every 2-3 months, cost of 40 euro. hepa filter every 5-6 months, another 30e. basically what you do with this junk is replacing filters every 2-3 months and cleaning the container every 2 weeks. it is insane.
