    It'll take 90 seconds to fill a cup at that flow rate The quooker brand is the best by far

    • @SmartPipePlumbing
      @SmartPipePlumbing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It really didn’t took about 10-20seconds

      You mean the flow rate he showed when the water was cold?

    • @SmartPipePlumbing
      @SmartPipePlumbing  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user.--. I showed you it with the water come direct from the water heater, doesn’t matter if that water is cold or hot your still going to get the same flow rate.

    Just for ref , lots of composite and ceramic sink bowls are not compatible with boiling water taps , the bowls can crack with thermal shock 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I'm glad you posted this, I'm looking to redo my kitchen and been looking at these taps to save having a kettle but I can't get out my head that in a few months it will be full of limescale and nasty inside plus im guessing its just going to keep boiling that water until its used making it taste nasty. My thinking is good for a busy kitchen where its used a lot threw out the day and not just left sat there or maybe im completely wrong on my thinking so any light you can shed on it would be great.
    Great video though buddy, have now subscribed

      Thanks for the subscribe 🙌 they are great they have filter on the incoming to the tank so shouldn’t get a build up of limescale. It’s basically get the water to your set temperature and then keeps it warm so it’s technically cheaper to run than a kettle.

      @@SmartPipePlumbing no worries buddy, Saves me watching Tom do the same job twice 😀and of course someone learn some new stuff. My friend had one installed in their new kitchen and it only lasted 4 months before it stopped working (my first thought was limescale build up and broken element) I just can't stop thinking about it like using hot water from you hot water cylinder to make a drink but if there is a filter and its changed often maybe your right. guess I need to go and try one and see for myself

      I am always surprised why these boiler units are fitted into kitchens which undoubtedly have a dishwasher so what is the need for instant hot water? For a pot of tea a kettle is efficient and heats in about 2 minutes.

    Hey mate you don't half follow after some numpties and so called builders, sparks and "tradesmen", wether the kitchen circuit is rcbo protected or not is just good working practice that if installing a socket inside a sink unit, that you don't install it directory below a water outlet/source. Even if there are no leaks just enough condensation running off the pipe would be enough to keep tripping the breaker, and even worse if it's Wired to an old circuit that may not be protected adequately. I'm multitrade and have done this for over 30 years and can build extension one week then be converting a garage the next or refurbing a bathroom the next, (this also means I have to have most tools that a plumber will have or electrician or roofer etc) 😂. So I find that I have nearly all the same kit that you have, anyway tangent😂, but surely you must get sick of following these issues around and seeing some of this shoddy and a lot of the time dangerous installs. Do you ever advise the customers if you see this? Even if it's a builder that you know?. Keep up the vids mate is good to see you grow with every job you do. So done buddy.
    Oh I'm based in Leeds too 👍👍👍👍👍

    Wish you was around on my new build mate. Had a few nice hot bubble baths and went up to the overflow a few times and wondered why the kitchen floor was lifting.. It didn't just leak It wasn't even connected at all. Expensive repair lol.
