It was a lot of fun to do this with you and I was happy & honored to be the first guest! Thanks for letting me join you for the first episode! Love you Greg!
The conversation between you two was so enjoyable to listen to. Awesome to hear some of the back story of your shared love of cinema. And seeing you both translate into successful YT channels is heartwarming.
I just saw your reaction to 'The Color Purple' and thought "didn't he already react to this movie" but i'm realizing now it was your brother who reacted to it.
Thank you guys so much for this. I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see more. And I'm guessing your dad introduced you to Billy Jack. My mom took me when I was 10 and I was 11 when I seen the Trial of Billy Jack. I wished you guys would now give it another watch. 😊
Oh my God. I was watching these two channels randomly, knowing nothing about them, and the first thing that came to my mind was how similar they looked. Turns out they are siblings. Mindblowing!
Now that I see you two just interact and talk… Greg’s absolutely the younger one. That infectious energy being a younger sibling energy makes perfect sense
One episode in and already rebranding. Let's go on this journey together! Thinking of it already switching title back to Diary Of A Reel Reject.... Yay or Neigh?

Okay, why is watching this making me feel emotional? I feel that there is such a love and adoration between Greg and Anthony but very much unsaid between them. Also, I know you guys don't have the best relationship with your dad but it is beautiful to hear the special memories that you do have with him.

As a sub to both channels, this was a lovely surprise and an entertaining start to diaries format! Got a real kick out seeing you both open up about your childhood, and found it endearing that you triggered forgotten memories for each other as you discussed how the media you consumed influenced you growing up, or even heard some of those stories for the first time! Look forward to seeing more of this from y'all, hope you continue with it!
Funny thing: when I first subscribed to Reel Rejects (a while after already following Jaby), I knew nothing and couldn't pick on why Greg sounds so familiar from time to time & kinda has similar comfortable vibe to the channel, so I had a reeeeeal slow realization and went "...Oh. So THAT'S WHY I liked them both" x'D Thanks for the podcast. It was really nice to see you guys talking about memories & movies together, I kinda wished you did something like that someday. Loving the vibe with the podcast so far, it's nice to see Jaby on the channel again! As someone who has been in therapy, I was also impressed with how open and introspective Greg was at 6:51 about finding it harder to make eye contact with family. It's refreshingly positive to see this type of openness on camera, as I know it's not easy sometimes. Can't wait to see more!
Brothers? Now things make sense! You two look so similar and I had some confusion when you both were reacting to the FIRST time to something but were reacting with different people. It confused me so much I didn't even think to see that it was two different channels. But now it makes sense 😅
What a good episode/podcast! My love for movies comes from my dad, who passed away a little over 3 years ago. Even though the family was dysfunctional, the constant was ALWAYS Saturdays at the movie theater with my dad. He introduced me to the action legends: Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris, Sho Kosugi, Michael Dudikoff, Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Van Damme, and also some Betamax duds from the 80s along with some movies I'd never touch with a 10 foot pole 😆 The memories from cinema are priceless! The discussions with dad, my cousin, my sister, my uncles, wouldn't have happened if we didn't love watching movies. Memories ranging from my dad arguing with the concessions lady at the theater because she was trying to pull a fast one on me with my change, to being at the mom & pop video store holding a VHS movie called "Tentacles" about a giant squid, but I shouted to my dad on another aisle, "We gotta watch 'Testicles'!!!" 😂
Greg talking about doing and the motivation will come is so true. I deal with depression on a daily basis. It's so hard to find motivation. But, when I actually find the strength to start said thing, the motivation usually comes.
As an avid movie nerd and podcast listener, this was a perfect first entry. Actually had me listening very intently. Super fascinating to hear about you and Jaby’s childhood, and how much cinema impacted it (very much like my own!)
I'm only 30 minutes in, but I don't want this episode to end. Greg, will this be the only time you have Jaby on? I know he's probably crazy busy over on his channel (which, yes, I'm subbed to) and any other projects he's got going on, but this has already been a fantastic talk and I want more.

Thank you for sharing this amazing podcast. Thank you for sharing the Instagram story. Today is a great day. Been a fan of this channel since early 2017.
You guys are twins. When I saw Jaby Koay's reaction videos and reviews I said that's Greg's brother. My favorite Lisa Bonet's performance is in Tony Scott's Enemy of the State even though it's a small role she made a huge impression in that film opposite Will Smith.
This was so cool to watch!!! I love this podcast, love both channels. Had no idea you two were brothers.....🤣🤦♀️ always thought you guys just looked alike. I feel validated 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait to see more episodes!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
DANG I feel so stupid 🤣🤣 I'm subbed to both of their channels, but I'm a casual viewer and had no idea they were actually brothers! I've always thought these two looked extremely alike, and I used to often mix them up in the beginning lol
I remember when Jaby came on a Reel Rejects live stream and I have been hoping for a more sincere conversation between you too ever since. I also love this podcast idea in general and can’t wait to see who you bring on next.
Wow, I dont know why but this kinda made me emotional. I knew you guys were brothers but it was so nice to see you guys together and have such a heartfelt conversation.
So awesome to see the brothers together on a podcast. I'm excited to see where this podcast goes. Kudos to you Greg for branching out and doing something new.
I'm 42 and Jaby has to be closer to my generation because as a kid I totally remember that Bruce Lee box set. A friend of mine had it, and we used to watch those movies ALL THEE TIME in the late 80s, early 90s. Plus Jaby tends to say a lot of references that were common in our generation. I could be wrong though, he could just be "cultured". lmao
This dynamic really hits home with myself and my own brother. 11:00 when Greg reminisces about Jakoby bringing him to see Spiderman for the first time in theaters...that hit home. My younger brother is my best friend but we weren't always on the same wave link. But you never know the types of moments that stick in your little brother's mind, even if it's something as simple as going to the movies together. 😊
I recently started watching cinepals and my first thought was “why does he look and sound exactly like Greg” “does Greg know this?” and now I find out they’re brothers that’s so cool. You guys seem so similar but so different. Seems like (cinepals) is more mature and understanding and Greg is more goofy and blunt and it made so much sense when you guys mentioned Greg is younger. Which is weird I thought he was older (sorry Greg) lmao

Thank you for sharing this amazing podcast. Thank you for sharing the Instagram story. Today is a great day. Been a fan of this channel since early 2017.
@reelrejects you finally gave your fandom what they truly wanted all along.
The collab I never knew I needed 😂 I'm here for it ❤
You guys are twins. When I saw Jaby Koay's reaction videos and reviews I said that's Greg's brother. My favorite Lisa Bonet's performance is in Tony Scott's Enemy of the State even though it's a small role she made a huge impression in that film opposite Will Smith.
Jaby is six years older than Greg
Not twins but look like brothers
I also love this podcast idea in general and can’t wait to see who you bring on next.
you guys are the best in entertainment youtube industry !!
Wow, I dont know why but this kinda made me emotional. I knew you guys were brothers but it was so nice to see you guys together and have such a heartfelt conversation.
Loved every minute ❤
I’m so excited that they did this😭
So awesome to see the brothers together on a podcast. I'm excited to see where this podcast goes. Kudos to you Greg for branching out and doing something new.
This entire time of watching both channels, it never occurred to me that they were brothers
I like this brothers reunion man. Keep doing these once a month
I could be wrong though, he could just be "cultured". lmao
This is the only podcast I've been waiting for my entire life
I have been waiting for this!
Been waiting for this for so many years! Love it!
All this time I thought Greg was the older brother. This was such a vibe hope you both do another podcast together again
I actually brainwashed myself into thinking that you guys didn’t look alike because I thought I just being racist 😭 Whole time you were BROTHERS
this was me!!! I didn't want to seem racist thinking they looked the same 😅😭😭
I am blown away that yous are brothers, Im subscribed to both channels and love them equally.... just blown away WOW!!!
I normally don’t watch full length vids like this one, you guys should do more, felt like me and my brother talking films and memories too
Naw, when I saw how you both reacted to The Color Purple, I KNEW Y’ALL WERE BROTHERS!!!!😂😂😂
OMG, I didn't know you were brothers, I'm a subscriber to both channels...THIS IS SO COOL
Legit always thought you guys looked alike. Never realised you guys are actually BROTHERS!??
That was a blast! I want more! Can’t wait to see with the next guests, but you should do a part2 one day with your brother!!
