- PRESCOTT, AZ // We are so excited to show you all Prescott, Arizona! We absolutely loved the family feel that this city had. Whether it be meeting a new dog at the Courthouse Plaza, or trying one of the restaurants on Whiskey Row, this city was so welcoming and comforting!
Have a business associate that recently moved to Prescott Valley, a few miles to the east and loves it. He picked it because he was able to get sufficient land for his horses and climate was perfect year round. He can't say enough about the town of Prescott itself. Its big enough to never run out of things to do and small enough not to get lost in.
I found Prescott to be such a unique place! So much beauty... and great weather too! It really has a lot to offer!
Great video content. But, may I make a recommendation. One the next video, reduce the background music by 50%, it is very distracting. Keep up the good work.

I agree with you! I want nice weather and a decent cost of living. We are heading out there in August and will be renting to find the neighborhood right for us and to make sure this is where we want to begin retirement. Will keep you posted on what I learn along the way. Thanks for watching!
My daughter and son in law want us to move here with them in a few years, but the houses are way too expensive for us, so I guess they will be moving there without us. But at least we will be able to come and visit there regularly!
Interestingly, we are moving to Prescott soon. We will be renting to check out the area and different neighborhoods. I have seen an increase in real estate since last year so I'm going to be interested what we find. One of the comments we got when taping last year was the increase in housing prices and the influx of people from out of state. It's a neat town so I'm not surprised it's so popular. Also, a wonderful place to visit. Where do you live now?
@@WhereNextBoomers We are in the mountains in So Cal, but I doubt our house is going to be worth as much as a house in Prescott. We were hoping to sell and pay cash for a house and have a little left over. We will just have to wait and see when the time comes. My husband has 6 more years to work and then we go from there. We will be going with them in a few months to check it out. They have been there several times and we already have another daughter down around Tuscon. We would miss the mountains though so not sure that area would work for us.
Harps and Hens We lived in S CA for almost 20 years. Moved to TX and now my husband is retired. One of the things I liked about Prescott is how beautiful it is. Good luck with everything and I’d love it if you kept me posted! 😊
@@WhereNextBoomers Thank you. I sure will! We moved to CA in 1986 and thought we would be here for life, but things have sure changed and not for the better. While we have loved living in the mountains for the past 25 years and would really hate to leave, it is becoming unbearable here. So we will bide our time until my husband can retire and then see what we can do!

Evita Frazer Yes, I’ve heard very good reviews on the medical care in Prescott! And, the VA hospital is quite impressive! Thank you for sharing.
I wouldn't put your optimism in yavapai regional, the Hospital has a terrible rep. My dad died there 14 years ago after a back surgery, due to a Nurse over medicating him with 6 narcotics in 30 minutes. There are other nightmare stories about that place one that occured not a year after my dad

The City of Prescott Outreach manager is clearly not from Prescott because he is pronouncing it wrong. Did none of the locals tell him it's supposed to rhyme with biscuit? :-)

The city manager doesn't pronounce Prescott correctly. Tens of thousands of Californians have moved here in the last couple of years, ruining Prescott...
John, you’re right he didn’t initially pronounce Prescott correctly, but he did correct himself later on in the video. So many people from CA are moving to Prescott. Definitely puts pressure on the city.

prescott's housing stock is beautiful over 600 K.Nothing in the 350-450k range
I've found the housing prices to be on the rise as well. I haven't checked out the areas further from town, they might be better.
