- The Peak Pilgrimage is a 35 mile trail from Ilam to Eyam in the beautiful Peak District National Park. We walked this over three days. This is part three - if you've not watched part one or two yet watch them here • Peak Pilgrimage | Day ... and here • Peak Pilgrimage | Day ...
We left the Lathkil Hotel in Over Haddon and made our way to Bakewell, where we took some time to explore the interesting church and mooch around the town.
After a steep climb to Calton Pastures we had a gentle descent into Edensor before walking through the Chatsworth estate to Baslow.
Another climb brought us to the charming village of Stoney Middleton although sadly the church was closed. Then finally it was time to finish our pilgrimage at Eyam Church, where we were rung in by the sound of the bells.
Job done!

A great final section of the trail Steph. Nice to see inside Bakewell church as I've never actually been inside myself. Glad you spotted some deer at Chatsworth 😀👍
Thanks Patrick, they were quite far away but it’s handy having a good zoom lens!
