Okay can I just state that this thing is jarringly different from the uninjured Super Virage you fight later in the game in terms of looks. Like this thing should for all intents and purposes be DEAD it's missing so much of it's body, which I'm faily certain is including it goddamn HEAD. This thing was blown up 11,000 Years ago, with Kazas detonating right in it's face, and yet it still reanimates in the presence of a full team of Dragoons- Dear god what are these Virages? Natural creatures or Magical Bioweapons!?
So it's optional and it has a count down and even IF you kill it before it self destructs you don't get anything special.........that's not cool Also funny that you used the same team I did facing him tonight
If you're a completionist, defeating this boss still rewards a huge chunk of EXP and the loot from bosses is RNG. this boss simply drops healing rain. I also believe there's chests around behind it for defeating it.
This is incorrect it absolutely is optional you can either fight it or you can take the other route to the right which leads you to the puzzle with many-faced guys
Why does everyone use those two? I used Shana/ Miranda and Rose! I think FAN boys just liked having a bro (Albert) and eye candy (the skimp tramp) on their team. SMH,
Eye candy aside, Meru has high speed and good magic. Albert has good physical stats, and Rose Storm is good for damage reduction. They complement each other well
@casey childs It's because Meru is one of the best characters in the game that people so often use her. Highest speed of all party members, fantastic damage multiplier on her final addition, an excellent utility spell (rainbow breath), and high magic stats. Only downside is her low health pool, but there are ways to negate that. And like the first commenter said, Albert is a physical powerhouse whose Rose Storm spell makes boss fights much easier by providing extra survivability to the party. But honestly, why does it matter who people use for their team? They have their preferences and you have yours.
@@DraknalHitdan Since you are asking, I’ll tell you what players using Meru in their party upsets me a bit. I don’t like how Meru is overtly sexualized. At the time of the game, there was really little to no push back from players on the overt sexual tones a lot of characters received. Shoot, even now we still must contend with some cringy sexual characters. So I would have preferred the most sexual character to be less ‘useful’ thereby not giving makers the false notion that their character design was widely accepted by players. Now this is my pure opinion and it’s cool for others to disagree. I just merely was explaining why I don’t like Meru that much any more and am annoyed when I see her overly used in parties.

Well, they are fractions of the body of a God, so unnatural vitality is to be expected.

Eye candy? I used rose dart and meru when I played this game. I chose meru because she's fast and doesn't have a dinky shit bow like miranda.
