Overview:
This session will discuss the balance between compliance reporting and user needs in accessibility statements, as well as continuous improvement of accessibility in a fast moving environment among public sector bodies. Peter Kemeny, senior accessibility expert (ADS), Funka, will share highlights from the interactive workshop held prior to the event. Panelists include Gottfried Zimmermann, Director of Competence Center on Digital Accessibility at Hochschule der Medien (CPWA), Katie Durand, responsible for digital accessibility at the French Federation of the blind and visually impaired, Lidia Best, President at the European Federation of Hard of Hearing (CPACC) and Mohammed Malekzadeh, Software Developer and Digital Accessibility Consultant at Deutsche Bahn UX Design System.
