I'm just getting into 350/370z's. I remember playing need for speed underground 2 as a kid and I always loved how well the game matched the sound to real life. This video really shows off how good these cars sound.
Fun fact: although it won’t let you rev any higher than 5K rpms in neutral, you can put the car into 1st gear and rev it as high as you want while standing still.
@@florin9738 yes put it into any gear and clutch all in, will allow you to go maximum RPM, and in automatic just put it on N and it will automatically allow you to max rev, those rev limit are only on park on auto and if no gear selected on manual
I just put the Gemini on my 370Z last weekend. I'm pleased with what it is for what I paid, but to be honest it could be a little bit louder. To me the high point of this exhaust is the very pleasant hum that reverberates through the whole car when you're cruising in 6th at about 80. Don't get me wrong, it still sounds good when you go ham with the T/C off but that nice mid range note on the expressway is so well-balanced it just gets me every time.
Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy good sound. My colleague is about to buy one from 2016. I hope he does because it's 15hr trip back and forth, it is supposed to have an exhaust already. Looking forward to it.
I agree with all the positive comments. Having recently installed one myself. The stock setup is too conservative for this type of car. But I can kinda understand why they played it safe. This system maybe too much for an OEM to approve for the wide audience that buys this car as a base config. It really gets noticably louder upon acceleration, I personally want that in my sports car. They should have included a system like this with the top trim models besides the nismo. Love the burble and tumbling sound. Best part is the bark on startup. I would not want to go any louder, this is the perfect point for me
Can someone tell me what model of exhaust this gemini catback is? ive seen several different videos of the dual gemini catback and this one sounds louder than the others and there is no link in the description
I have this exhaust and it’s quite annoying in town driving in traffic , especially with how high you need to rev the z for it to accelerate worth a shit in town
I love the sounds, but Nissan's NA engines are always too gentle ( except for motorsports), not like BMW, M.Benz or Audi. Hope they could make the next VQ37 (or similar) with 400-420 hp. But the news said they might using VR30DETT on the next Z-car.

To get that nice exhaust note but louder and a little less trumpety, I've seen getting nice long tube equal length headers the the trick
