Story :-
Isabella is a 45-year-old woman who recently lost her husband, Henry (M, 48), due to a sudden road accident. She was still mourning the death of her beloved husband when her Sister, Camila (F, 42), broke the harsh truth that her son, Jason (M, 12), was actually Henry’s (Isabella’s late husband). Camila was a single mother to Jason after her husband divorced her for another woman.
Henry had left a handful of ancestral properties, including the house they lived in and the insurance. After Henry’s demise, Isabella and her daughter, Luna (F, 14), got all the insurance money Henry had enrolled in. However, Camila insists that her son should get half of the money because he is the son of Henry. Camila showed all the letters exchanged between her and Henry, proving that Henry knew about Jason and was providing cash to Camila to keep that a secret.
Isabella was shocked and hurt by the truth. Her mourning for her husband turned into anger that he had cheated on her with her sister. She knew Henry and Camila were close friends, but she had never imagined that relationship would cross the line.
Isabella tactically dug deep into the matter to find that Camila was actually blackmailing Henry all these years to extract money from him. The letters that Camila showed were only the tip of the iceberg. Henry had kept all the threatening letters that Camila had sent him inside a bank locker that was handed over to Isabella after his demise. She learned that 12 years ago, Henry and Camila shared one intimate drunken moment, and soon after that, Camila conceived Jason. However, it was not Henry’s.
After Camila’s divorce, she used that drunken moment to blackmail and exploit Henry. Henry complied with her demands to maintain harmony in the family. Isabella exposed Camila to her parents and extended family. Camila was backlashed and cornered for her evil actions. Isabella, who supported Camila financially, evidently cut her off. Camila’s son also abandoned her, further humiliating and isolating her.

No wonder her child turned against her and ran away. I would have felt the same way if my mother had turned into a Camilla. Unfortunately, I do have an aunt who is exactly like her. She sometimes calls the house, trying to extort money from me or my parents by spreading false rumors about my grandfather. It hurts but my mother calmly urged me to stop and remember that she is a stone cold liar and loves to manipulate people just like Camilla. She has paid a huge price too: my uncle divorced her and they are sharing custody of her son but she lost her job and was on unemployment. She is also very poor at managing money and keeps remodeling her house with what little she has left. She still takes advantage of relatives and leeches money off of them. My mother told me one time, she showed up at a relative's wedding and said the only way she got there was she "borrowed" money for a plane ticket and definitely has no intention of paying it back. She also suspected, in her haste to get to the wedding, that she hadn't thought her scam through completely and forgot about the return trip! In fact, she whispered to me "Just wait and see. She'll probably demand money for a plane ticket from one of your uncles." True to my mother's suspicions, all the other relatives were on the plane trip out of the city EXCEPT the lying aunt! My mother read her like an open book. That's what happens when you spend 20+ years bullying someone because you're jealous that she married your only brother. I still don't understand WTF she hates my mother so much for. Even when I caught them behind closed doors, my mother held her tongue and her head high. She has never lashed out at her. My crazy aunt is the one doing all the accusing, lashing out, etc. It sometimes saddens me because her son has to put up with her evil behavior. He still splits time between her place and my uncle's place.
I think she needs to find out if she can sue her for the money she extorted from her husband.
I felt sorry for poor husband... I am just glad poor kid living better environment with his grandparent and away toxic mother... wishes best for mother and daughter for future!
OP needs to sue the sister ASAP for the extortion and blackmail that she has done for nearly a decade and a half to fund her life & lifestyle.

A very drunk male is usually also a very impotent male so there are very good odds that no sex took place. The reluctance to do a DNA test also shows she knew or strongly suspected that he wasn't the father.
I'd have sued the sister for every penny she blackmailed from my husband and I'd have also charged her with blackmail and extortion after his death. The only reason she wants her son back now is because she isn't getting any money from OP or her ex because her son isn't living with her.

I would go one step further and check to see if the sister's ex husband is the father of the boy, just so he can have concrete proof of who his father is. That wasn't mentioned in the story.
Why is it people automatically assume they are entitled to something just because they or someone else is blood related??? In the case of wills, depending on how iron clad it is, what it says, goes. In the lack of a will, the spouse is legally entitled to any assets of the deceased. If there is no spouse, oldest child is in charge.

But, depending on where they live, children may be entitled to a percentage of the estate. Even in the USA. Intestate laws vary state to state. Some, everything goes to the spouse, some it's half to the spouse and half divided between the children, some it's 1/3 to the spouse and 2/3s divided between the children. In none does the oldest child automatically become the executor of the estate - or the inheritor.
About DNA tests make sure the lab is well known. Also can send samples to multiple labs. Just to be sure have more than 1 lab do the test.

Cause of course he must be his son, and I think Camila's lie about Jason being Henry's son was just told to Henry to blackmail him. If OP was of the mind, she could have pay her nephew's school fees by paying directly to the school bypassing her greedy a** sister. The boy is innocent in all this and shouldn't be punished for her atrocious behavior. And his real father should be made aware that he is the boy's real father and he can assume responsibility for his son's personal and educational needs.

Is Henry’s parents or siblings alive? If so then DNA from them will show whether or not the girl is related to them or not and stop that rumor. It won’t show that they are the father but will show that they are related. Where is sisters ex husband. If he is the father he needs to support the boy. If he is not the father he needs to know that too, if he doesn’t already know. Sister probably wants the boy back so she can sue for child support.
Doesn't matter if the child was Henry's or not. Since he's not mentioned in either the will or the insurance, he's not entitled to either and neither is Camilla.
A DNA test can't be faked, but best to get tested in 2 spots and NOT have it sent to the sister's place where she could scan the results and use Photoshop to fake the actual answers.

If the letters are not signed by witnesses or notary public, then DEMAND a paternity test by someone of OP’s choosing. Talk to your late husband’s lawyers and get one for yourself, too. Then document, document, document *all* of your talking and correspondence, even pictures of them (never underestimate the greed of a person, even your sister), with your sister. She will trip up somewhere to reveal the actual truth.
NOTE: I am in only 5 minutes so I’ve yet to hear the outcome. I hope the widow does all of the above. I doubt I’ll watch to the end, this story is so predictable, down to the kindhearted (or gullible) OP and her greedy lying 🤥 sister.

If someone claims their child to be your spouse's child, then you should dig in for more info and use the legal justice system to destroy such claims. Henry had left everything to his wife and daughter alone in the will, which is far more than enough to exercise a lawsuit or get a restraining order against her sister.
