You prolly dont give a shit but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Guillermo Jesse thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Cotton pads. I spray mine with toner pre-travel, & stack then in a screw-top tub (I personally use one from Lush handmade cosmetics that used to have face moisturiser in). I tip a little extra toner in to soak the pads & make sure they're all covered. I pack enough for every day & night I'm away, plus one extra day in case of travel delays. One less bottle of liquid to pack :)
When I travel, I LOVE to bring my solid shampoo and solid conditioner from LUSH. It totally takes away any worries about spillage and totally eco friendly :)
I love Gotoobs. I traveled for 3 weeks in Italy with these. I used the small ones for shampoo and conditioner and the larger one for my body wash and they lasted the whole time. The jars are great for hair/wax paste as well as other creams. The larger one has a suction cup that sticks on the shower wall.
You are a LIFESAVER! I normally just put each individual bottle in a zip-lock bag, and then cram them all into a travel pouch. It adds so much extra bulk and is such a pain!
Great tips! I do the exact same thing since I only travel with a carry-on now It's so much easier to travel this way. Happy Travels from a fellow travel TH-camr:)
Great video. I just returned from a trip and I sure wish I had seen your video before I left. I was going crazy trying to figure out all that I could take. I decided to take a carry-on for the first time instead of paying $$ to check a bag in. Figured the airline had enough of my money. Thanks for all the suggestions and I'll sure be purchasing these items and will be prepared on the next trip I take.
I have spent 3 hours watching all of your videos... I think I'm obsessed! Love them love them, been looking for videos like these for so long :') Saludos desde Venezuela!
The best container I have found for cotton pads is believe it or not, a retainer case! It fits about 10-15 pads in just the most perfect compact size for travel. I stole mine from my little sister but you can find them online or at a local orthodontist super cheap or sometimes even free! They work perfectly:)
I just found your channel and I love it!! I travel a ton, and already use most of your tips, but have found a few new ones that are great!! Have you tried shampoo and conditioner bars from Lush? They're solid bars, and fit in small aluminum tins (the size of a small can of tuna). They can be carried on aside from your liquid allotment, and work great. I used one bar of each for a two month trip, and had plenty to spare when I got home. They have different formulas for different hair types. Not sponsored by them or anything, just a huge fan!! I also use their bars of soap with a fast drying flat loofah instead of body soap! Anything non-liquid helps!! Hope you try them out!
Yes!!! The container I mentioned in my previous post just arrived and it fits 14 cotton rounds! That's enough for two weeks of travel for me. If I could, I'd post a photo!!
I just got something EXACTLY like those called SmartTubes at Marshals and I LOVE them! Everything she said in the video is true and it is great! Recommend for anyone :)
Oh goodness thanks for this video! I've never traveled by air & watching this video just made my life that much easier, one less thing to stress about when it comes to traveling! :D
Sonia, your packing tips are beyond helpful. I think I watched every video in preparation for my study abroad trip last year. I know you love packing for toiletries, this is my favorite part too. I have a suggestion, on a video. "What is considered a liquid?" I discovered after going through heathrow airport, which is the strictest check I've gone through, that contacts are considered liquids and they make you fit this into your liquid count, thankfully I had some space left and I didn't have to toss away any of my toiletries to make them fit. But It never crossed my mind that this would be counted as a liquid, I'm sure there are other items that we forget about.
Hi Sonia! I was just wondering if you have any tip for going somewhere long-term, I went to Norway for 4 months last year and found it very difficult to pack what I needed for a Norwegian winter & spring into one bag! Now i'm going to New Zealand next year for at least a year and I don't know how to pack for multiple seasons! Also do you have tips for cheaper ways of adding an extra bag(probably needed) or what airlines tend to be stricter etc?? Thanks, Amy (Ireland)
Alternative: make paper soap with your shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap, and you can transport the whole bottle of your favorite, without breaking any transport regs. All you need is butter (or rice ) paper, if you want something that completely dissolves. Alternately to that, if you have wipes, you can dry them out and use them instead of the paper. You won’t have something that completely dissolves, but you can dry your soap liquids on them, and have wash clothes that you put in water and already have the soap on them. You can also use an old sheet or old flannel shirt: just cut squares and seal the edges, paint your soap cleaner on both sides, let dry, and fold or roll up and store in a ziplock baggie. A lot of these can take up very little space, little weight, and are easy and fun to use.
Great video! Re: cotton pads, I simply use a small plastic bag and but that in the transparent bag. I don't really see the need for another container for them. It's simple and doesn't take space.
Can you maybe talk about school trips. I am going on a six day and five night Quebec trip with my french school and I dont really know what to expect. I love all of your videos and know that you are the one to go to for traveling advice. thank you!!! Keep making great videos!!!!!
Hi I’ll be traveling to Paris and I got myself some of those silicone containers. My question I’ll be purchasing some other liquid makeup and skincare that won’t necessarily be 3oz what do you suggest for my carry on I won’t have any bags to check because I’ll be connecting and don’t need any extra delays
I've always been confused about this not sure if it's a dumb question. But do the bottles need to have the measurement on them. Like does the TSA require the bottles have the 3.4 oz label on the bottle
Sonia Thank you thank you thank you a million times, I am traveling next month and was on the prowl for new bottles and I love the ones you had on here now I gotta go buy em... Lucille xoxo
Love your packing toiletries packing and agree with travelling experience this is the best. For cotton pads I just use small ziplock just big enough to fit the cotton pads, until can find a better option
Awesome! Might want to look into reusable cotton pads, it's environment-friendly :) love the tips here, it's more practical than the travel sized products we see in the store!
Hi Sonia! I just discovered your channel! You're the best! :) This summer I'm going to Greece for one month. I would LOVE a video on how and what to pack for a long trip for different activities: beach, hiking, visiting!! Thank you so much and continue your great job!! xoxo
You're GOOD. Your advice, is very good. As a lifetime traveler, I've learned a few new tricks. Like what to do with those packing cubes. They're going to UK and Rome.
What sizes did you have for the jars? I tried to find again in your video, but couldn't find it..unless it was in your other one haha. There were big ones and small ones...
I have short straight thin hair and I use a mousse to give my hair some volume. I have no idea how to travel with the mouse bottle. Do you have some travel size bottles I can use a mousse in?
Hi im going to spain in a couple of days and I have been watching your videos you are so helpful is there any tips you have for packing for a weeks trip. Xx p.s I love your videos your awesome xx
Hi Sonia, love your tips and I used them on my recent trip to Europe. Although, when I was flying from country to country, they did not allow any of the bottles on your carry on unless it had a label so I had to chuck them since I was traveling with only my carry on. Also, where did you get the jars from? I love the snap feature!
Great video! Not sure I never thought of masking tape (I use the smaller half ziplocs to wrap each individual bottle of liquidy liquids). A Ziploc is also great for cotton pads and q-tips. BTW, your stick deodorant doesn't have to be in the Ziploc - it's not a liquid or gel. Saves room for suntan lotion or more body lotion.
Hey Sonia, what's the dimensions of your toiletries bag? I'm lookingl into getting a new system for when I fly, and I would hate buy one that I'll have to "redo" at TSA. And thank you so much your videos have been beyond helpful for my planning process!!!
Hi Sonia! I was wondering where did you get your clear plastic toiletries bag? I'm also going to Europe in a little less than two months for 16 days--with one carry-on bag only! I'm trying to be super smart with my choices. I think that little bag fits everything really well with a flat bottom..unlike a quart size ziplock bag. I'd love to know! Thanks! Happy Thursday!
Could you make a video about packing your cosmetics? Tips or advice would be great, what do you take on holiday makeup wise? I really enjoy your videos :)
Can you put liquids over 3.4 oz in your checked luggage? I have read multiple sites saying you can. I usually bring travel size when I travel but, I like having the full size more. Does anyone know if that is true?
I'm new to your videos and traveling for the first time alone as an adult. I haven't travelled since I was a preteen and that was before 9/11. I would really like a detailed video about the procedures a person has to go through when going through security. For example, after putting everything in the bins and walking through the metal detectors...what comes next? A body pat down? Or a body scan? Or does that only happen if something beeps? I'm not travelling internationally which means I don't need a passport but I'm getting one anyway just in case. However if I don't have a passport will my regular old driver's license work? I heard a rumor that airports only accept digitalized driver's licenses. I don't know if that's true which is why I'm getting the passport because my license is the old school type.
If your driver's license is not expired, it will be fine for domestic travel. You will show it when you check in to receive your boarding pass, then you will show it with your boarding pass to security. At security, you will take your shoes, contents of pocket, carry on, belt, jacket, and place them on a conveyor. They'll go through an xray while you walk through either a metal detector or xray, depending on the airport. You can opt out and elect for a pat down. Make sure all liquids are in 3.4 oz or smaller containers and all are in a quart size bag that you can take out quickly for inspection. Gels and creams count as liquid. Basically if it conforms to the shape of the container it's in, it's liquid. If it's medicine, it can be separate, just put it in a bag of its own and tell them you have it, and it can be more than 3.4oz (I had 5 oz of cough syrup, it was fine). Same with breast milk or formula. Just tell them.
If I add a product to my Wish List at Amazon to purchase later will you still get a commission? I discovered your videos when I did a search for anything Paris. Saw the people watching video and now I'm hooked. Keep the videos coming!
Have you tried the medium size of those gotubb jars that you put you creams in? Those would be the perfect size for cotton pads. I usually use a snack ziplock back. LOVE your videos!!!
I love to use making tapes also, sealing the bottles, use it to make some icon for my suitcase, life saving for open up shoes sole. One technique I use to get the last bit of liquidity product, is to make the bottle or container full of air, the close the cap, hold the end of the tube and swing it vigorously. You will find the last drop never end after a minute of each swing. It works for me at home on toothpaste, the tube of mayonnaise in the kitchen, etc.
@Kylie Crawford That limit is only if you're bringing a carry on bag. You can pack full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, face wash etc. if you're checking your bag;
Can't find go-toob jars as described in your video...went to human gear website [ or whatever it's called as i am not at my desk] and couldn't find..thks.
I knew about the 3.4 oz containers but do they HAVE TO be inside the same pouch or even inside a see through one? I'm sure security can still scan everything even if inside a bag that is not see through
I love your videos!!!!! I have a week long trip to Mexico soon and have tips from a lot of your videos. I am a chronic over packer, so i will use your techniques to get down to 1 carryon suitcase. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Yeh, some powder containers have a separate compartment just for the pad that comes with it. I just put the pad on top of the powder and the pads in that compartment.
Great video and great Tips as always :) The Containers look pretty small - how long can you get along with these? I often take my normal sized products and pack them spill prove in my bag that I check in, because I don't know how it is on American flights, but here there are only liquid restrictions for your unchecked baggage...
This is such a handy video - toiletries are always such a pain to pack!
You prolly dont give a shit but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me

@Kaysen Terry glad I could help :D
i dont need to pack but i keep on watching ur video's😁😁 never get bored of them😉
Spent an hour researching on amazon... then found this jewel which answered all my questions. Thank you!!!

Sonia, you're my travel guru! I've been looking for such containers for ages!!!!
I so very much enjoy your tips. They are very useful for my first trip alone to a foreign country. Thank u!

Wow, these are cool, but I've found better alternatives elsewhere.

Hi Sonyia, do the 3oz liquid rule apply to check in luggage's as well? Thank you.

Okay I am so glad I came across this video cuz I had a lot of questions about the requirements and what to bring... But now I don't! Thank You!!!!
This really helped because I'm doing last minute packing for New Jersey this Saturday

hi sonia, jus to chk, for the liquid restrictions, does it apply to carry on or apply to checked-in lugguage as well?

Sonia, you are ridiculously gorgeous and charming. You have also given me a newfound confidence for my travels to Europe this summer. Thank you!
i love her so much i mean...really she helps me a lot in packing

You're GOOD. Your advice, is very good. As a lifetime traveler, I've learned a few new tricks. Like what to do with those packing cubes. They're going to UK and Rome.
You are pretty, and not irritating, unlike 95% of American youtubers. Thanks!
LOL! so true!
Arc Kocsog Agree!
LMAO 🤣
What sizes did you have for the jars? I tried to find again in your video, but couldn't find it..unless it was in your other one haha. There were big ones and small ones...
Amazing! Best TSA-approved toiletries video I've seen! Thank you for the brilliant tips, just ordered my own GoToobs :)
If I'm going to a hot destion should I bring runners/seekers or just bring open toes, flats, flip flops, ect.
Can you tell me where you purchased the Clear plastic bag for your toiletries, i love the size and style.
Could you talk about how and what to pack for winter and spring season?
What would you pack hand sanitizer and baby wipes (for carry-on) ?
How do you choose where to go next?? I always have a hard time deciding. Any tips?! :) Love your vids!!
Oh my god you are so pretty, and these videos are so enjoyable and helpful! I will definitely be looking into getting some of these things
I just found this..thanks I really needed this for upcoming travel
Is the Gotubb safe for creams like moisturizers and foundation?
im going to europe this summer, booked my ticket today...so excited! lol thanks for the video
Hi , i have a bottle Cologne 1.6oz just bought it , do they allow for carry on ?
Not completely sure what you mean here, but the limit only applies to carry on bags if that's what you're asking :)
Yes, just put it in your liquid bag.
Hi Sonia, love your tips and I used them on my recent trip to Europe. Although, when I was flying from country to country, they did not allow any of the bottles on your carry on unless it had a label so I had to chuck them since I was traveling with only my carry on. Are the jars called go-tubs...they look too small to put hair gel or toothpaste into.....for a 30 day trip.....your thoughts...thks.
I came for the tips but I'm genuinely surprised at how high quality this is for 2013.
i travel almost 10 times a year, n i think i am pretty much doing the same thing you do :D but i still love watching!!
Great video! Not sure I never thought of masking tape (I use the smaller half ziplocs to wrap each individual bottle of liquidy liquids). A Ziploc is also great for cotton pads and q-tips. Hi! I just want to ask if the cosmetic bag that is presented in this film is accepted by Ryanair, Wizzair and the rest of the low-cost compnies?
Could we get a carry on / personal item? Like what to include in your purse?
Thanks for the tips! I need it for traveling since I over pack Sonia =)

Thanks Sonia,
I use "hubba hubba bubbletape" pkt. I soak them in makeup remover and put them in the container.
Thanks for the awesome video! I also never knew there were those pretty colours of masking tape! Lol

Enjoyed this video and the editing is awesome.
do all liquids have to go in a see through pouch?
Mercedes Castillo yup
I love toiletries! They are so useful and cute.
Can't find go-toob jars as described in your video...went to human gear website [ or whatever it's called as i am not at my desk] and couldn't find..thks.
I knew about the 3.4 oz containers but do they HAVE TO be inside the same pouch or even inside a see through one? I'm sure security can still scan everything even if inside a bag that is not see through
That's crazy! But good to know since I'm traveling to España pretty soon. Thank you

Are these only for carry on bags?
Is a pink quart sized see-through pouch okay? Or does it have to be clear-clear.
I love your videos!!!!! I have a week long trip to Mexico soon and have tips from a lot of your videos. I am a chronic over packer, so i will use your techniques to get down to 1 carryon suitcase. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Please can you do some train related videos? I go on trains a lot and your travel-savyness would be great to sooth my stress.
why not use a powder foundation container to stack some of the pads in?
+Fifties Fatimah thank you for the tip! im travelling soon and needed that tip!
Yeh, some powder containers have a separate compartment just for the pad that comes with it. I just put the pad on top of the powder and the pads in that compartment.
Great video and great Tips as always :)
The Containers look pretty small - how long can you get along with these?
I often take my normal sized products and pack them spill prove in my bag that I check in, because I don't know how it is on American flights, but here there are only liquid restrictions for your unchecked baggage...
