We still use equipment from 80's and 90's Sam's reasons you said, easier to work on and most parts are still easy enough to locate thru salvage yards.

OK. You can do a little custom harvesting and pay it of,and what you bought is what you want to keep.

Now to find a trailer to haul the bails on. Loader to load the bales, forks for the rear of the tractor to move the bales. But for sure found one at a great price.

I am so happy for you both! I recall the issues of labor this last season. I recommended that you need to do what is best for you and Kelly - being less labor intensive. I am the former cabinet maker that did not invest in my business with the new equipment that would have reduced my need for so much labor, that labor cost me my business for not being competitive. God was helping you at the auction!
We sold a 7760 in North Carolina back in March with 2400 engine hours and 1780 fan hours for 325k. You did awesome! Congratulations!

I knew it! I said youd buy one on the last video. One thing thats a good idea to do on the baler every year is replace the pins in the seams in the baler belts.

Feeder belt always make sure there is nothing built up on the front or back side of the conveyor belt that takes cotton from the accumulator to the bailer we put two on ours $3200 we also have a 7760 for sale Covington TN

Cotton picker was an early Christmas present for you and your wife. Your son may not be so excited about cleaning another picker, but easier times during harvest.

Send in the engine oil for testing they can tell by the metal fragments , if the engine is gone , and the insurance will write it off

No our equipment is just not worth that much. There’s not a big demand for that style picker anymore

Congrats on the new picker. Make sure you make your insurance pay out for diminished value on the truck, not just the damage. With the high resale price of trucks right now, you should be able to get a reasonable check for it.
