The first time I have seen anyone coat floor mats. Great idea. I imagine it would make future cleaning a lot easier! Wish I would of done mine when they were new! Thank you for the info!!

Top notch work Kurtis! This is a great idea for what to do with those partial bottles of coating and bring a terrific value-add to our customers! 👊😎

Very interesting. When you cleaned it, it looked super clean, brand new like. These mats are pretty durable. Do they really need a coating? Just curious. Are they slippery after being coated? I am following this because I want to see what happens with use.

They are about 6 months old. No the coating doesn't make them slick at all. Just helps in future cleaning making them way easier to maintain. I'll do a follow up cleaning video once they get good and dirty again.

Ceramic coating on all weather mats, ABSOLUTELY NO NO!! Defiantly will protect the mats and will make the cleaning easier but will also make it very slippery just like the finish on the paint. Fist rule of anything, consider the safety!!! 👎🏻

Thanks for the comment but these are mine and I can absolutely attest that I haven't had any issues with slipperyness.
