So great! Thank you for posting this! LOVE LOVE LOVE the reference to “Heat” with the semi-truck crashing into the armored car. We need nuns with automatic rifles so we can do “The Town”. :)
So "Bickle Taxis" is a name taken from the film Taxi Driver, starring Robert Deniro as Travis Bickle. Deniro also starred in Heat, which this scenario is certainly attributable. Cool!
The police pistol training is scary good :). Great board and video yet again. The scenario might to go robbers easy too, if the first patrols spawn in suitable spots. If you are running a public game, maybe spawn first two patrols in 1-2 and 4-5 spots, so it won't be over right away, rest randomly. It might be good also to have so much money that two robbers carry it, so they can go their separate ways.
Yeah veey good skills 😅. For a demo game, I'll let people play the police so they will choose where to deploy. And its actually a bit intended that the police should win. I dont want to roll over peoplz discovering the rules ^^. Good idea for the multiple money bags though. I actually just received some printed ones and I might tweak the rules for that.
Yeah I know. I designed this mission to teach the game to new players at events. Removing body armor, or weapon accessory remove dome complexity in the early games. Less rolls and less maths.
All of your games are fantastic! Maybe a second getaway car hidden on the board that only the robbers know about? Obviously that wouldn't work for solo play.. LOL!
Great game on a great looking board, inspiring stuff! 👍Some body armour could make the bank robbers a bit more survivable, though maybe not against all those 6s! I might have missed it, but was there any suppression used at all? Making use of full auto fire at the cops might have kept their heads down long enough to get the money bag off the table, though the cops might have managed to force the bank robbers back with lots of rapid fire pistol shots too!
Thanks a lot mate! Indeed I originally planned on balancing the robber with some body armor but then I thought that for an intro game I prefer to keep thinks simple. Thoses minis are also great since they dont have fancy sights, that make also things easier to learn. For suppression, indeed I didnt played with that rule. I find it particulary complicated and never managed to learn it and add it to my games :/. Overall I think it slow down very much. Same as the cohesion rule. Not playing with that either as in this scenario, it make sense to have the tean split to cover all angles.
@@TheSoloWargamer Fair enough, I never bother using cohesion either as everyone seems to split up in my games anyway! I don't think I could play without suppression personally as it's such a large factor in fire and movement tactics, but if it works for you then no problem! Another thing that might work well for the a future game is have multiple money bags in the armoured car, so the robbers could just steal one or try to be greedy and grab all of them, but risk the extra time for the cops to close in. Perhaps a robber could carry two at the same time, but not be able to fast move anymore?
@@kappakamfershiest2842 ha ok. I'm not that much of a good writer but mostly I didnt take any nice picture suring thz game. Only video but I'll try to think at that for my next game!

This video is great, my friend! I really enjoied watching it! Thank you! Can't wait to try this scenario 😃
Thanks mate :)

haha yeah agree, these minis would be dope !!!

Your terrain really is amazing...

Was hoping for another episode,so this is fantastic😎👍

Very enjoyable game. I think the game was balanced that's a realistic police response, could try police arriving every other
turn.
Add your civilians to make it even wilder. Loved it.
yeah I also thought about that but since I'm building this for an intro game, I don't want to bring too much complexity with civilians to deal with
Stunning 🔥
Great video! Cops in my area ALL wear ballistic vests, and most carry an AR in the trunk. Just saying... ;)

Yeah I'm also thinking at adding a second car for robber that will give them more options!
That was great !
I love this game!

@@TheSoloWargamer Nice!
Ca serait cool que tu puisses intégrer un sous titre FR en plus. Mais super qualité de table et d'image comme d'hab
J'ai déjà un peu regarder maiq ya rien qui existe pour faire automatiquement des sous titres et les traduire :/
Could you do a little AAR for your videos in your facebook page?Great Models and Board, hope for more campaigns like this :)
Not sure I understand what you are asking. I shared that video on my facebook page 🤔

What size are the cars? The miniatures look like 28mm.
Check this video ;)

Where did you get the police miniatures from?
They are from crooked dice ;)
An you tell me the size of the board you are using here?
Table is 6x4 but I'm only playing on 4x3 most of the time
@@TheSoloWargamer Just to be sure - the playable area in "Money Truck Heist" is 4'x3'?
...looks more than 4'x4', doesn't it?
