Actually, there was one DVD release of the unaltered versions of the Star Wars trilogy that was released in 2006, but they were basically just laserdisc/VHS transfers slapped onto a DVD disc that served as a second disc for the 2004 versions with a wonky resolution that won't fill the entire screen thanks to the fact that they're lower quality.
Jim Carrey will retire soon.
He did enough for mankind.

Robin Hood - Definitley the best. But i really love the Furry-Disney one.
Dumb & Dumber - Is a pretty good comedy and a bit of a road movie in some case and uncut, it has serious moments.
Man in Black - Edgar as the alien Roach is amazing
Godzilla (1998) I never hated it. I really like Zilla and he is a official Kaiju anyway.
Something about "The Never Ending Story" because this can be missunderstood quickley.
It was a very messy German-US production and Wolfgang Petersen who had written the screenplay, Michael Ende the author already disagreed with that, but the film company had all the rights... and would have even kicked him off the film lot.
When the film was finally finished for 60 million deutsch-marks in 1984. = (108 Million $ at this time)
But Ende was absolutely dissatisfied with it, not in terms of content, but in terms of the look, the costumes, the kitsch, the commercialism and the performances. Respectively, because what he finally wrote as a book was only a fifth of what he originally had in mind as an idea. Four-fifths went into the wastebasket.
Here is an excerpt from a letter to a reader.
Michael Ende was asked again and again what the message of his novel was. He usually answered this question similarly to this letter to a reader:
"But art and poetry do not explain the world, they represent it. They don't need anything that points beyond them. They are themselves a goal. A good poem is not there to improve the world - it is itself a piece of improved world, so it needs no message. This staring out at the message (moral, religious, practical, social, etc.) is an unfortunate invention of professors of literature and essayists who otherwise would not know what to write and prattle about. Shakespeare's plays, the Odyssey, One Thousand and One Nights, Don Quixote - the greatest works of literature have no message. They prove or disprove nothing. They are something, like a mountain or a sea or a deadly desert or an apple tree."
Fact: The Last VHS Ever Made is Cars 1. The Tape came out 2007, and the movie came out 2006, when VHS ended.
Update: Terrifyer 2 released on VHS recently at Walmart and can be found RIGHT NOW

- My Hightlights and Movies i have seen - Part 1
The Sandolt - A really kids kids and family movie, with a amazing charming little "Twist" in the end, which you don't expect as a kid.
Goosebumbs/TV Show. - Very underrated and forgotten. I remeber this episode, but also the audi cassetts ase a kid, about a Werewolf in the Feverswamps. The sounds and howling.. oh boy that was scary. Also the episode, about this cursed Chuckroo Clock, where some boy gets younger and younger everytime, because to get rid of his little super bratty and annoying sister.. and in the end..he succeeded. He made it possible, she was never born. O.O
The Grinch - I remember seeing this in theatre back in the year 2000 and... Nope aweful. Even Jim Carry did nothing for me there.
The Choclate Factory - Actually that was a trip on crystal meth and everything else. Even as an adult. It is so scary and creepy, it got never a german release. But the Burton movie of course, which is aweful and not less creepy too.
Free Wily 2 - See this in theatre too, and it was better. More charming and relatable than the first movie. Also getting pretty serious in the end.
The Secret Garden - I never see the whole movie to be honest, but i remember this as not as a "Kids movie" i remember it pretty creepy and some old guy who ates a lving cockroach. No kidding.
Jumanji - I love Robin Williams. Who doesn't who have a good taste for movies, but this one is defintiley overrated. And "The Rock" Jumanji movie is actually pretty good.
Indian in the Cupboard - Also a forgotten pearl no doubts.
Thomas the train - Terrifying as fuck for me as a kid. I don't know why.
Pete's Dragon - Well not stupid but charming , but anyway, definitley way to much of a Musical. It's from the late 70's and feels like its from the 50's. And the Remake was really nice indeed.

There was a 101 Dalmatians remake in 1996, John Hughes wrote it. 102 Dalmatians was the sequel released in 2000.
I love how Rob pulls out Dennis the Menace and wonders if the cover is by Drew Struzan only to immediately pull out Angels in the Outfield which ABSOLUTELY has a cover by Drew Struzan, and doesn't comment on it!

This is shocking I never knew there were animated tv series and real TV show all I knew the never ending story movies that about it 😂 but I got admit the Way they filmed the movie is definitely out of this world everything is perfect and I would say I can put The never ending story next to he man master of universe movie which one of the movies that I never forget

It was Johnathan Hyde who played the hunter Van Pelt in Jumanji and also played Robin Williams father Sam Perish. I'm guessing having the same actor play both parts was meant to be a metaphor for how Williams' character believed his father was trying to destroy his childhood.

I can still remember the "Be Kind Rewind" stickers on all the tapes, and the 50 cent charge if you were rude and forgot. Normally I'd rewind half way so it only cost me 25 cents. Sticking it to the man!
