I thoroughly loved this scotch! Delicious! I enjoyed three out of four in the series! Great video Bill! Awesome review! Much appreciated! I really truly enjoy hearing a great review after I have tried a new expression and it makes me go back and think about it all and my own experience! I have a back-up bottle and I am eager to try it again!
Picked this up today, after seeing your review of Taste of Tokyo. Just wanted to add, a few drops of water and it adds almost a hint of milk chocolate to the nose and the palate, with more spice on the palate, and the finish I picked up that same citrus and spice you get throughout, but also some juniper.
I loved the Cake, and thought Winter was okay. But per your recommendation, I'm checking for this daily for Ohio and would try it. Thanks for your thoughts!
I tried this a month ago at a whisky event. I can’t remember how it was since it was one of the last drams I had - palate was toast! When it came out I bought one. Have yet to open it, but seeing your review, I’m glad I did.
Hi Bill, loved watching this video! I actually reviewed it on my German channel a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Have you ever tried the Swedish Mackmyra Whisky? They dry their barley over juniper, too. Cheers! Ash
Got 2 bottles of Tale of Cake and skipped the Take of Winter. Might grab a bottle of this one while I can. Sounds interesting enough. At least the bottle will look good on the shelf, if I don't like it.
I was very much apprehensive to this one. Tale of Cake was amazing, Tale of Winter was all right, and did not grab this when I saw it at my local few days ago. 108usd plus tax for a nas whiskey is a bit much even with inflationary times we live in. But I’m thinking I’m going back to grab it. The other standout will probably be the one I skip, Ardbeg Hypernova another nas for over 200usd smh anyone have thoughts on that one lmk please lol
I really like the Tale of Cake and did not buy Winter. I really like Glenmorangie in general. The price point is a little iffy even tho I'm not as shy about whiskey at that price anymore. Interesting they mention it's 12yr old whisky in the literature but don't put a big age statement on it
My wife sent me an ad for this and I knew I'd have to find it, this review definitely solidified that. I must try it

I may need to go back to this one and add some more water. Thanks for the tip!
Great review! Definitely getting a bottle of this! Cheers 🥃

Great review. This sounds like the just the type of Scotch I gravitate towards. I will surely be hunting this bottle down
Great review, thanks!
Great video!!!
Thanks Bill. This is enticing- Cheers 🏴🌲🇺🇸🥃🤠🥃❄️🇨🇦
Is enticing the "right" word... or does intriguing sound better 🤔🤝😉
I'd say my video was enticing, but the whisky is intriguing
Just picked up a bottle not knowing anything about it. Definitely excited to crack it open now
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
This sounds really interesting. I think Glenmo are at their best when they try and mix it up and make something out of the ordinary.

All of those things are true
non- chill filter and 46% will make a big difference if you compare it to the 10

I havent heard much about the hypernova which makes me think its probably not worth 200 bucks
Sorry one more! Tokyo is my favourite!
I'd like to do a VS episode on the different expressions
@@TheWhiskeyDictionary That would be a fabulous Bill!

Not the best imo, I liked tale of cake better, but this is good. It strongly reminded me of AnCnoc 18, but it's worth 20 or so less bucks
Does it really have 12 years old? Or just assume
