Its so cool to see one of the singers from pre-covid back, in the same show venue, and even doing a few of the same songs from Happily Never After too! All the singers were incredible today and it hit me that things are finally back to normal. Last year's Fangtastics were really good but it still wasnt the same without a full cast and the energy that its had for the last 10+ years. I know things dont last forever but its so nice to have this show back again ❤
The Fangtastics last season was lady singer, guy singer, drummer, lead guitar and rhythm guitar (who played drums the final day when the other one got sick) and keys. No bass which was odd. Not much dancing per se. That was unusual for a Red Garter HalloWeekends show. This is back to what they've been known for which is more dynamic song & dance with a backing band. usually 3 guys 3 girls, drummer, guitar, bass and maybe keys or rhythm guitar any mixture of that and that' normally how they do summer shows. one season they had a sax player. Oddly they use a pre-recorded bass track in this show. So yeah you have to understand how they do it for a HalloWeekends show. it's not meant to be a band. look at my previous season videos.
@@EricA-zs7vo Correct. They added another guitar player. They had to re-block the show when one of the male singers couldn't be there a couple weeks ago. He was back this weekend. I'll tape it from the back if I can.
@@amusement420 one of the guitar players from last year was supposed to be there this year but looks like they changed (he was usually left side of the stage).
