Such a lovely town. Loved the imperial and the Rotunda but the Spa was fantastic. Being a BIG classical fan I could just sit there for hours listening and watching the classical concert 👌❤️

Good to see Dr Who was visiting at the same time. 10 million visitors is amazing it looked nice and lively always good to see people out enjoying themselves. We visited Scarborough recently for a Korn gig at the open air theatre but didnt have opportunity to look round before and had to get home afterwards. We must visit one day and spend more time here it looks fabulous. The bridge looks great good job there is no toll nowadays 😆. I love the noisy seagulls, they wake us up here in North Wales each day ! 🤭 The speedboat rides are quite a good price, must be so nice to be on the water here with those views. Mick Grime, not the most appealing name for a shellfish stand 😅 10 million visitors, blimey! Can see why, it's a beautiful sandy beach. Plenty to do with the wheel and arcades. The Grand Hotel is beautiful on the outside! In the rooms, not so much. But at least it's not expensive. And very historic. Didn't know the Rotunda was that old! Ahh fond memories of walking along the upper promenade there. Blimey, the Spa is even more historic! Ooh nice classical music!
yeah Mick Grime, lived here for twenty years and it never occurred to me once to try out his stall, and I am partial to a seaside dish! that Grand Hotel, its TH-cam Gold for visitors with some TH-camrs visiting each and every year just to show how bad it is. in the last few years it’s been shut down to Legionairres disease twice, homed illegals alongside paying guests and had a terrorist attack. I should check in, that would be one holiday video I could make that would do well! ah the Spa is lovely, I always buy my mum the season pass, she actually waves as I look over the audience. was quite the motivating reason for this one. thanks Matt 👍

I've stayed in 2 Britannia Hotels, the other being Grand Borstin in Folkestone which is also an amazing building but bizarrely bad inside. I was there one September and they inexplicably had the heating on full blast, i asked them to turn it down and they said they were unable to, so I just had to sweat it out 😅
I never understand these walking tours videos - they always seem to do do well on so many peoples channels but thy are so impersonal and when you compare them to (example) your holiday videos were you are climbing some amazing mountains with stunning views, how they do not get 10 times more views then this is a complete mystery to me. I do like Scarborough mind, especially as we had some of the best family holidays there for many years when the kids were little, so very special memories always come flooding back when we visit today or just watch fully this. thank you Alan, well the irony is all on us. TH-cam has paid us so much money this year that we can afford not one, but two, maybe three holidays this year. this is what we started youtube for, as a better reminder of those special occasions when we are on our hols. so going forward half the years videos are going to be magnificent Mountain and Lake side adventures. the rub? nobody wants to watch them. which makes it doubly hard to keep the channel afloat. only back on these walking tours to bump the numbers on weeks we put out our holiday vids. that being said our handler at youtube has found some sort of rhythm with our content and a better way to balance it. the holiday videos are our personal projects that true subs will love and appreciate. the walking tours are our cash cows that will keep us afloat and at least once a month we need to do HERO content, political or documentary. so the next few weeks are this… Lincoln Steampunk, Lost in the Picos, Whitby Walking Tour, Boarded Up Britain Series 2 Episode 1. I’m privy to it all and it looks pretty pretty good imh! that being said we are going to Northern part of Lake Garda at the foothills of the Dolomites for the first time in a few weeks, my research has almost solely been on watching walking tours. they do work, plus if Jill falls asleep before me I stick a walking tour on and I’m asleep with her in seconds 😂 walking tours are like the ambient noise videos on youtube, if nothing else they will make you fall asleep! loved the Popeyes review (jealous, want to try them), but the Labour post was inspired. already has me doing backflips wanting to interview pensioners in the street about the winter fuel allowance, who they voted, etc. 4 hours loitering around a high street asking those questions? youtube PLATINUM. kiers face, a graveyard, how many pensioners have to die this winter thanks to Labour? Thats a 50 to 200K video right there and you have an amazing platform. people will click and listen and share to you dont that..

Really interesting walking tour, - we have often wondered should we do some. I often wonder do you still need to edit them, (realise you need to add the text)? It's really interesting for us because we have never been to Scarborough and good to see that it looks to be thriving on the seafront. The Victoria Grand Hotel - wow! Bet that was very grand in its heyday and it reminds us of the big Blackpool or Weymouth hotels. What is in the museum? Love the bridge - was it always just pedestrians or did it take traffic in the old days when there was a toll? You have opened our eyes! We thought Scarborough was just the seafront. Hi guys we like throwing walking tours into the mix every now and then! Depending how you film them and how you wish to present them they don’t take long at all (both filming and editing) you don’t have to overlay words either and they do good numbers! It’s such a great way to enjoy other parts of the world from the comfort of your own home! There is so much more to Scarborough than the seafront in fact we have 2 sea fronts as we have a a north bay and a south bay separated be a castle on a headland! great question regarding the bridge that use to charge a toll we have seen so many old pictures we are sure we have seen horse and carriage crossing it but not motor vehicles. Good old Scarbados - I really need to visit, it never gets a look in as Whitby is closer to home. Love the busker at 8 minutes in 😁 I hadn't remembered the Spa was so far along the front but then again it is a very long time since I have visited (Scarborough - not the spa). The Orchestra was a bit special.

Looks like I get to visit Scarborough during my holiday after all 🤣! Those flags are surely flapping in that breeze. Three sizes dog!!! I think the male has a hip issue. My son ( older one) went fishing off the wharf with his dad and sister. They were just wee little people. When dad said "throw in the line" - he did 🤣🤣🤣 Hook line and sinker!! All those food stalls look pretty healthy to me 🤣🤣🤣! In you hop Nick, a speedy session on the water could be fun. I don't care much for the ads interrupting the flow guys..annoying isn't it? The phone box is really the Tardis in disguise Jill. Watch out for seagulls Nick. Pretty popular place by the looks of those numbers Nick and Jill. That IS grand, wow! Yes I meant the hotel. Those views from up high were lovely. That spa is OLD and lovely that it is still in use. Love the black and white checkered flooring. Well, that was some walk...and an enjoyable one at that. Looks like I get to visit Scarborough during my holiday after all 🤣! Those flags are surely flapping in that breeze. Three sizes dog!!! I think the male has a hip issue. My son ( older one) went fishing off the wharf with his dad and sister. They were just wee little people. When dad said "throw in the line" - he did 🤣🤣🤣 Hook line and sinker!! All those food stalls look pretty healthy to me 🤣🤣🤣! In you hop Nick, a speedy session on the water could be fun. I don't care much for the ads interrupting the flow guys..annoying isn't it? The phone box is really the Tardis in disguise Jill. Watch out for seagulls Nick. Pretty popular place by the looks of those numbers Nick and Jill. That IS grand, wow! Yes I meant the hotel. Those views from up high were lovely. That spa is OLD and lovely that it is still in use. Love the black and white checkered flooring. Well, that was some walk...and an enjoyable one at that. i dont know if its still there, i was in london 40 years ago. but the ostrich inn was the third oldest inn in england. its near heathrow airport.

Oh gosh Kris! We do love your passion for our royalty! But yes we all remember what we were doing when we lost our lovely Princess! And yes 100% she was murdered she was so unhappy in her marriage (Charles was cheating with Camilla) why should she not deserve to be happy with Mr Harrods! But this brought shame to the Royal family so (in their thoughts/traditions ‘Off with her head’ 🫣😬
