- I just want to say thank you to this particular hotel's staff for ensuring each guest at the hotel was well informed of the test beforehand. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen.

Funny how I actually own that kind of Genesis 😀. Pretty sweet. Surprising how those Genesis don't sound bad with the Integritys.

The edwards integrity is so catchy when it goes off my school had the edwards integrity and the Genesis alarms
That is like at our school, where different areas were on their own sync module, except we have advances instead of the various devices here.
Funny thing is, are hotel which was the Homewood in Orlando on International Drive recently had a drill while we were there, they had Edwards Integrity’s in the hallways and System sensor spectraalert horns in the rooms (Just horns)
my school has these alarms on the exterior of all of the buildings. no stobe though.

@@iowansirenrecordings2454 the current Genesis horns sound like a Wheelock Ns or system sensor spectra alert classic horn or Wheelock ZNS or Wheelock Mt or As and all other Wheelock alarms. The old Genesis horns sounded like the first generation and current integrity the 892 Series of horns and the 792 Series of horns.

Yeah they are great alarms I wish we had more them because the current ones just shred your ears The earlier genesis alarms were loud enough to alert people to a fire but they didn’t shred your ears.

My high school had the integrity alarms. Compared to a lot of other alarms, the lower pitch sound of the integrity makes it not as loud

I wish the Genesis Horn sounded the same today as they sounded like in the very early years of production.
These sound very much like the ones that my elementary school "built around 1998" had. I always liked how they sounded been trying to find which model they were exactly.

They have always had a red version of the Genesis.

The 1st Gen EST Genesis sounds like the basketball scoreboard sounder at the Mohegan Sun Arena. I head that sound on TV on Thursday December 3rd 2020 when I was watching the NCAA Florida Gators play at Boston College Eagles at the Mohegan Sun Arena

I wish we had More the early Genesis Models. The Genesis models that EST make today has the high Pitched whistle like horns in them and they are so loud. Yeah fire alarms need to be loud to alert people to fires but not so loud that they can destroy your ears.

Those Genesis were super rare
They are I wish they are common nowadays because the current line of Genesis have the high pitched whistle like horns. The reason why EST changed the Genesis Horn sound to the high pitched whistle like sound is because the early EST Genesis with the integrity like sound was not loud enough to alert people to a fire and had very little time to escape which can be deadly. Yeah you need loud fire alarms to alert people to a fire so you can get out of the building fast and stay alive but it’s not worth popping out ear drums or scarring people with special needs with fire alarms
Why aren't the guests always informed before the fire alarm system tests?
The hotels usually leave a memo under the door, but that's on the hotel, not me.
