It was pretty annoying to me, but comedy is subjective so I'm glad you could find humor in it.

It's that same attitude (mixed with how much he wins on this channel) that make Jon my least favorite TRG member.
At least he's not as annoying as Chugga tends to be. Tim will always be my favorite for TRG.
Tim's definitely at his best by himself, but that could be said for Chugga and Jon too.

Fun Fact: The Ganondorf in this game is the only one that is a different character from the rest. He is a reincarnation of the original Ganon. This Ganon does not appear in any other Zelda game.
Doesn't help that this is the current end of the timeline, and the only other times Ganon appears on this timeline are OoT and TP.
Oh right! According to the timeline, the original Ganondorf died a long time ago!
CrazyFunDryBones Well, he died in TP. This is the Child timeline, so when the sages failed to execute Ganondorf they sealed him in the Twilight world. When you see Ganondorf on the throne in TPHD you can very clearly see that he has some serious wrinkles-- he is *really* old by that point. He dies in TP, and FSA is the next game in the timeline, so naturally the Ganon in FSA is a reincarnation of the one from OoT and TP.
I mean, I guess it's natural although he's the only reincarnated one. Even after Ganon died in the failure timeline, the ones in ALBW and Zelda 1 are the original resurrected. I find it kind of odd that he is a reincarnation, although that and the general atmosphere of this game support the idea that the Four Swords Trilogy wasn't originally intended to be connected story-wise to the rest of the series.
This episode made me laugh so hard I hurt my hyperbolic.

Emile will usually mention a practice run when he's doing a 100% LP, and he does that to ensure that he does actually notice/remember everything. I don't think he did that with this game, and it shows.
When youre so salty you feel the need to criticize Jon for every little thing he does despite still being the most observant one.

Good thing Jon worked out how to tell where the correct way was. A secondary hint is that the correct path is usually the one that take the most effort to reach.
I don't know if anyone's said it yet but Stephen has been an awesome sport. He doesn't care about stealing gems from others, and just wants to have fun. (Not that it isn't fun to take gems from friends :P)
I hope they bring him back for more projects.

What's that suppose to mean dude? What tsukinoakuma is saying is quite true, Jon is winning most of the lvl and he/she is mentioning that Jon is being unreasonable in his statement. It doesn't mean he/she hates Jon or something. Don't have to be a sarcastic snot about it.
Yeah Jon wins most of the time in general, so it is a little unreasonable.
Pikachu2Ash I meant I commonly see them complaining about Jon in this series' recent episodes when something big related to the Force Gems and results screen happens involving Jon. As one who tends to get into heated discussions once in a while, I'll admit it's sorta hypocritical on my part (at least I think), but I didn't intend to imply anything about Jon's skill or statistics.
How was what Jon said even remotely unreasonable? Emile himself even agreed that he's stolen a lot from Jon. The mindset of "Jon wins a lot therefore he's not allowed to complain about anything" is the unreasonable thing.

The Wins are the Defining factor of who is in what place, but the Force Gems are the tie breaker for ties in wins.
However; the scale of Light and Darkness (Hero of Darkness being negative and Hero of Light being positive) will brake the tie in wins if the difference of Force Gems is less than the Number of rounds played times 100.
Also; A Tie in the Scale of Light and Darkness when it is meant to be the tie breaker is broken by the exact Force Gems.
(The Tingle Minigames don't count as wins or games played, but they do add to the Force Gem total.)
(Repeats of Tingle Minigames will still count to the Force Gem total until after the 3rd time playing it.)
I think you should keep counting everything as you have before otherwise it's technically inaccurate, like for example giving someone a win that's over 1500 gems down from 1st just because it's Jon who's in first, it won't actually make it more accurate it would displace the results, just keep doing it the way you're doing to ensure it's balanced. Jon almost Definitely won't win every time, so you should get a clear second and third, and even if not you have force gems and power of light to work with.

You are right that it's not likely for Jon to win every-time, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had 17 Wins at the end of this.

The Green Dragon 53 If you want to make it interesting, you could always add a few unofficial thing to keep track of, like how many times people kill each other, or kill themselves, or how many times people die in general. There's always something just waiting to be tracked, you just have to find it.

I still think hero of light and darkness should count for more than tie-breakers, Emile should be in 3rd, if not even last, if only due to how dirty he plays sometimes.
I love how, towards the beginning, everyone was doing productive things, except for Stephen, who was hitting a woman with a pot.

Props to Jon for noticing the winds thing, but I can't blame the others for not noticing it. Being on this level long enough, your brain kind of blots out the sand filter because it's seen it so much (same reason you don't see your own nose or some details of your own room), so they'd probably barely notice it's even there, let alone the way it's blowing. Jon must have just noticed the changing wind pattern at some point if he was waiting around, though why he never brought it up is beyond me.
And then everyone complains that they didn't remember the hint. So you guys are saying you can recite, word-for-word, a sign you read at the start of a level twenty minutes later after dealing with puzzles and treasure stealing and enemies, while also commentating? Suuuure. :P
Jon talked to a NPC/sign that literally said to "oppose the inconstant wind". He should have noticed earlier.

Honestly, I'm genuinely surprised that Emile knows who Shantae is. Considering she only had like 3 games at this point in time.

So... Jon kept teasing the others about being better at exploring... and yet, he's also the one who read the tablet at the beginning of the stage that said you needed to "oppose the inconsistant winds" to progress, pretty much telling them how to continue through the level.
Good eye Jon on noticing that where you need to go is where the desert is blowing from! I think the Pyramid at the beginning said something about that!
Its funny how none of them noticed those are the Elements from Minish Cap. Jon got the Water Element, Tom got the Wind Element, and Emile got the Fire Element. I have a feeling none of them played Minish Cap

Vaati, Four Sword, four elements matching the colors of the Links. Clearly coincidental and has no connection to The Minish Cap, whatsoever.

TLoZ: The Minish Cap, from after beating the game myself, actually seems to be a prequel to Four Sword and Four Sword Adventures. And I have some good evidence to back me up. (By the way, I am sorry for being a Phoenix. XD)
Throughout the game, you, the player, are trying to fix the Picori Blade, which has been broken by Vaati from the start of the game, and when you find the blacksmith who is able to reforge the sword with the Four Elements, and getting him the Four Elements, Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind (Purple, Red, Blue, and Green), the Picori Blade becomes the Four Sword, which allowed the player to create 3 copies of himself on glowing panels to solve puzzles needing them.
And from what I've seen, Vaati doesn't appear in any other Zelda title other than these three titles I listed. With any other title, the main villain is either Ganondorf, or some other nut. So, in conclusion...
Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, and The Minish Cap, are indeed connected. Take THAT, CrypticNazo.

To anyone actually wondering, Ganondorf in rhis is not the same one introduced in OOT. That Ganon (in this specific timeline, that being child timeline) died in Twilight Princess. Four Swords adventures is set furthest in this timeline, and Gerudo legend says one man is born to the tribe, i think every hundred years. This new Ganondorf became the evil Ganon when he held the Trident. It could be implied he is a reincarnation of the original Ganondorf, who himself was a reincarnation of the demon lord Demise.
Yeah, this game is so far the only Zelda to have a different incarnation of Ganondorf. All the others are the same Ganon.
Though it does lead you to wonder how Ganon came back after being killed during Link to the Past; then revived in Oracle of Ages (Or Seasons); Then being revived again in Link Between Worlds.
Is it a new Ganon; or was he somehow revived during the tragedy that caused one of the Zeldas to sleep for years on end until the NES Link could wake her up?
The Green Dragon 53 The Ganon in the other games is the same one as OoT Ganon. He's just being either revived (Oracles, ALBW, Zelda 1) or being unsealed (ALttP, WW and TP) FSA Ganon is the only time so far that a new Ganon has been born.

Wow I love these guys it took them about 5 minutes to follow the direction of "Walk in single file line" this is why I come to this channel. Plus as long as they have fun that's all that matters.
When they had to walk single file to get across the gap I KNEW Stephen and Chugga would mess up somehow, it's just what you come to expect from them by now.

An NPC or a sign DID mention the wind thing, they were right about that. (It said something about "defying the wind", a clue to go against the direction the wind is blowing in)And with Masae playing Minish Cap now, I just noticed that the Jewels are the Elements from that game.
That trick with the winds *blew* my mind!

Actually, if I remember correctly, you lose NO health nor lives when you run out of breath underwater. It's simply a timer to tell you that you're out of breath and will warp back to the entrance.

Jon sure has the Triforce of Wisdom in his hands. Progress would not be done without him. But even with that, the problems are still common, as we could see with the teamwork test that the game has given them this time.

I've watched this three times yet the first 2 times I couldn't get past THAT INTRO. OMG I was in tears with cringe and laughter.

It is a bit amusing how Jon forgot that he read that sign after he remembered the letter about the couple and the Cucco in the Kakariko village level like 30 mins after he read it.
Reading, along with teamwork, observation, and not killing things are not these guys' strong-suits.

I agree that Jon is very observant, but to be fair, it feels harder to notice things like blowing wind in a top-down game.
I also love how the royal jewels look like the elements from the Minish Cap. I just noticed this after watching Masae play that game.

Stephen, you as well. I'm incredibly sad that you all are missing these important things and you even read about them in game and then immediately forget them.
TRG is a different beast entirely - it's a much more in-the-moment, reactionary sort of playthrough.
It is easier to focus on your own than with a group of people!
This is the best game they've played in a long time.
I've really enjoyed this playthrough so far.

This was a great intro, and I enjoyed seeing Jon exploring so much. Plus, seeing Tim snipe that chest and Tim and Stephen do good exploring later. Seeing how long the wind direction wasn't brought up was cringe worthy though.
I think Jon has Zelda sense, a term I use for people who can figure out what to do through small hidden things and such. Such as the wind in this level.
Jon noticed a detail that was the exact thing that the game told him earlier but probably wasn't paying attention to...
