I have the base model manual. Very happy with the purchase, includes some features (that you mentioned) that I wasn't expecting. It's functional and efficient. I Toally agree with you about the base model engine, it's not quick or fast.
this is from the edmunds.com review "Both the Tucson SE and the Limited get a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy stands at 24 mpg combined (21/28) with front-wheel drive and 22 mpg combined (20/25) with all-wheel drive." not bad for a small CUV
If I drive in a halfways exciting way in -20 Celsius weather I get just about the avertised fuel consumption for city driving (metric) 11.8 L per 100 km in the city. This using winter tires and winter gas (both bad for fuel economy). if I drive like a grandma so to speak and shift to 6th gear asap I can get it down to about 8.5 Litres per 100 km in the city
this is the worst suv i ever had.i bought it with zero miles and had replaced the eng. towice ,a/c compressor and a/c evap. once and now i have a/c problem again...it is a lemon car i do not recommend at all .....

Marc Jones thanks for watching our video and for the input too!
I live in NYC, do you recommend the Tucson for city driving? My concern is the gas consumption.

A Tucson ?! Tom Hanks is such a humble guy !
Good video, I like these average guys
We like you too bruh!
Another great review Tony. When your travels bring you to SE Texas, in me you have another average guy to help your vocal cords.
It's a good thing you didn't review the VW GTI or your buddy would have to change his shorts! It would have clashed with the seats!
Great small SUV, trumps the CRV for value. But not the Rogue and Erik needs a Nissan NV200 for his lawn business. Who's a Nossan salesman?
Jeff Stein yes - maybe Erik does need a NV200 hmmmm
that was fun Tony.

Too bad we don't have any curvy country roads around here to truly enjoy a vehicle, just bumper to bumper traffic.
