Great video, I'm 43 and decluttered my life by saying "no" more and not overcommitting to doing things/meeting up/socialising. It's good to keep things simpler in life 😊
Great video, I think it's really important to talk about the changes that will happen to all of us as we get older and I believe that to acknowledge, embrace and accept it, is the positive way to deal with it, at least that's the way I look at it. Take care 😊
Thank you for your videos, they are so full of insight. I am 47 and everything you talk about in this video resonates deeply with me. What you say about accepting that the body will decline is also something I've been thinking about recently. I eat more healthy than I did when I was younger, and also weight lift at the gym. My goal is to try to slow down my decline as much as I possibly can, I know a decline is inevitable, but...I can try to take care of my body and mental health so it won't happen sooner than necessary. That's my attitude these days. It might sound depressing to some people, but it actually feels so freeing to me to just face those facts. And the elderly people in my life are dealing with a whole other level of this, trying to prepare for their own deaths in a way that everyone around them won't have to deal with any clutter or chaos on their behalf (like the Swedish death cleaning thing). So...I can't complain, and I'm actually enjoying this stage of my life. It gives me mental clarity and calm to just face those things rather than to run away from them, in my opinion.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I think facing things is the key - we can ignore them but it won't change the fact that they're happening. If we acknowledge them, we can at least do something about it and maintain our health as best we can ☺️
Such a great video. If I’d taken my health care seriously in my 40’s I wouldn’t be diabetic at 65. I struggle making the changes to get my health back but this is a very inspiring video. Thank you.
Great video. Being minimalish has really improved the quality of my life. It has empowered me to become a better decision maker. I also know what I like and don't like and can focus my attention (and money and time) on things that are important to me.
I've been a lifelong dedicated outdoor exerciser. I can't emphasize enough the difference it has made in the quality of my life. At 60 I can still jog, hike, and walk as long and as often as in my 20s. I have to wear knee braces now and then and I invest in pricey footwear but it's worth it. Good video, thank you.
Sea swimming helps me. I don’t know if that counts as minimalism except that it’s uncomplicated and uncluttered. For me personally, it helps with anxiety and neurodivergent symptoms in a way that conventional mindfulness doesn’t, and it’s good for chronic pain and hot flushes.

We can't stop the change so we might as well roll with it! All the best to you ❤

This was so valuable. Accept and embrace the changes that ARE coming. And minimalism and simple living are helpful: less embellishment, more calm.🐇💜
Most definitely! Thanks for watching ☺️

I imagine sea swimming helps you connect with nature? Sounds wonderful!
@@ThisEditedLifedefinitely. I am much happier outside.
I grew up in a beach area and 100% believe the ocean aids health. One of the reasons blue zones are near the water.
