Ever since i watched Ghost rider spirit of vengeance, i have been in love with this bike, ever since i was a kid i wanted this, now i just have to wait 2 years, it's finally coming close.
Yamaha India's service is terrible and can't be escalated to Yamaha India Motors. If you call their 1800... number, you only get an automated message saying to call back during office hours. Dealers don’t pick up calls either. Yamaha products are poorly designed, with issues like mono suspension affecting the spine. They also charge Rs. 274 for basic items like cotton waste and gloves, costs that should be covered by the supplier or manufacturer, but Yamaha encourages dealers to overcharge customers. Dealers open at 11 a.m. and close by 5 p.m., leaving buyers with no support. It’s recommended not to purchase bikes from international manufacturers like Yamaha, Honda, Triumph, or OLA. Instead, consider Indian brands like TVS or Bajaj, which offer better post-sale support. Be Indian, buy Indian bikes.
What a phenomenal engine. These bikes have so much potential. I wish Yamaha would continue to develop and produce this bike. Would be great to see how it would evolve dynamically and aesthetically.
I bought one brand new in 1985 the first year they made them and I always thought it was the best looking year. Fast very FAST!! Wish my friend would have never talked me out of it. I told him let me know if you later decide to sell it as I might buy it back but he sold it to someone traveling through the country buying certain bikes and cars. 🙄
@@timkoutsis472 yes. Bigger tank, more fuel efficiency. Sure it’s not as fast, but it’s still plenty fast enough. 0-60 in 3.5 with 124 torque is more than enough for what I wanted

Huge mistake. What they spent for prolly less than 100 sold worldwide. Shouldve used an r1 or fjr motor and tarted it up.
