ARTMS Debut Birth MV Teaser Analysis / ARTMS Debut connected to Loossemble Comeback and Loonaverse ?

- Soo Modhouse has posted the teaser for ARTMS debut song Birth and some more teaser images. And everything about this is just so interesting to me!
I feel like this teaser is kind of hinting at the fact that the Birth MV will be connected to the Loonaverse and the old lore. But I also feel like the Dall Album might be related to the Loona 1/3 sub-unit while Loossembles comeback is connected to the YYXY members!
And I have the theory that Jinsoul might be tunring to the dark side / that there is a big bad in this comeback that needs to be overcome!
I'm really exited to see what they planed for us and maybe they will fit the old lore ( the Hi High and Butterfly timeline) into this comeback!

Modhaus is pretty smart for having 4 singles which I am assuming each have their own mvs because it gives us so much room to learn about the new loonaverse in just one comeback. Also, I want them to revive the trend where they only have comebacks whenever there is a full moon or a major lunar event like an eclipse.
I have to agree, the idea of them having to fit everything into one MV sounds crazy! And when they do it bit by bit, it's not only easier to understand, but it also builds up hype for their Album to drop, so kudos to them! ^^
Haha, yeah waiting for an eclipse but for a different reason is kind of funny.
something to note is that jaden mentioned the ai teasers actually being part of the lore that ties into virtual angel, and how we will get hand drawn versions of them later as the other pre-releases drop. theres something there with the folk drawing in the birth teaser, meant to look extremely old juxtaposed with the cold and soulless ai teasers. not sure what yet, but its interesting to think about.

I would really like for the drawn teasers to look just as old as the drawing from the teaser! Then it could really be some type of prophecy of the ARTMS members... but I guess we will have to wait for them to drop.😅
you know that its just really an excuse right? comissioning an art creator to made them could bring the same meaning. its an excuse to cover their error. we dont need to ignone this just to support the girls.

@@saphiraeden Well... we don't know if it is an excuse or not. For now I'm just going to be positive about it, since they at least stopped with the AI stuff. (and when they start using it in the future we will know that it was just an excuse, but now we can't really tell) ^^
Artemis is also the goddess of childbirth which explains the concept and is often associated with deers and the color silver, which the girls are all seem to be wearing. In modern interpretations for offering to Artemis red candles get used, like the red candles on the deers antlers and the red candle in the mv drawing. Also Haseul is shown to light a black candle that turns to a red candle in the drawing, which shows rebirth; transforming the darkness to vitality.

It’s also interesting that Heejin is the one carrying the baggage of 5, since she is known as the creator of the universe its her responsibility to carry the memories (necessary baggage) of the other members, including her own human memories as they flee/move/whatever is going on. Love the video!! (Also the image where of the tall lady they stand in front of gives me analog horror vibes, it seems they will use/reference many different types of horror in the music video)

(EDIT EDIT: This is my theory for whats going on. Back during predebut era we find out that Jinsoul and Choerry have an extra assigned ‘colour’, being black and white respectively. As you pointed out in the video, Jinsoul is turned to her side, both to show she is maybe hiding something but also to highlight the black of her dress more clearly. Choerry has her arm lifted, the white being highlighted more clearly. White also is used to represent innocence, which is important to my theory. Something I also noticed but is most likely bot intentional is that Kim Lip is the only member that isn’t tilted to one side or in a unique pose, just staring forward as if realising Jinsouls ‘possession’.
What i think the newest teaser photos depict is that after finding out Jinsouls connection to the deity she informs Heejin, and as she is the supposed god of the loonaverse she attempts to save the girls. However she stares in awe as she realises she is too late and she is next, her powers aren’t enough to save the next girl.
I think this light shown in Kim Lip, Heejin and Choerrys photos is the presence of the deity, and that Jinsoul planned and succeeded in sacrificing Choerry, shown by her sleeping innocently as the light looms over her, getting closer. I think that the redish light in Kim Lips photo might represent Jinsoul herself, as we know that fire is connected to Hyeju and rebellion/freedom (what jinsoul with her perception altered might see her sacrifices as). She is hunting down Kim Lip as she knows she is aware of what she is doing whilst the deity takes Choerry
This was most definitely not planned but Jinsouls black and choerrys white have been present since their debuts and their sinister/innocent natures are to me finally being utilised in the story line (i could hope). i’m not sure how haseul falls into all of this but maybe she was jinsouls first sacrifice (choerry jinsoul and haseul are distinctly the only ones in the gothic lolita dresses, possibly meaning their souls now belong to the deity)

The idea of Choerry being sacrificed is also quite interesting, since her new teaser also reminded me of these old bible depictions, since they are also always shown standing on rubble or rocks (and there is a lot of sacrificing going on in the bible), but maybe that's just me haha.😅
Also the members being dressed differently and then the title being either on the top or bottom of the pic really has to mean something. Like, maybe it shows us that the things in the Lolita dresses happen before the once in the punk clothing?🤔

I think about Vivi in the deer scene and in the Birth teaser image. Back in Why not? She had the same orange wavy long hair. And I noticed that the five bags Heejin is carrying are yellow (Hyunjin's color), orange (Yeojin's color), Pink, (Vivi's color), Black ( one of Hyeju's color with gray), and I can't really see Eden green in the last one ( Godwin's color) but meh
Well this would be a nice way to add Loossemble into the mix! (But I guess we will have to wait to find out) ^^

I remember in the artms discord it was discussed about how haseuls teaser was extremely like one and only, with that I was going to say that the 3 glasses could be the yyy members fruit juice, except apple juice is more orange than red

This is awesome, I’ve spent a lot of time theorizing about the loossemble and ARTMS teasers recently but I never once noticed all this stuff about Jinsoul. But now that you pointed it feels, like, very apparent. I also love the idea of Haseul and the wendigo, and the cup being filled with blood. I noticed how if you zoom in on her lip, it almost seems a darker red color on the right side, as if she has taken a sip of the red substance in the cup and it smeared on her lip. This might just be a lighting thing though or me thinking way too much haha. If it is intentional though it could be showing that she partook in the blood, potentially as a way of giving herself over to the same god/thing as Jinsoul, or maybe just in order to unlock her odd eye.
Now that you mentioned it... it does look like it!👀
I really like your idea of this being some type of ritual, I mean in christian “lore” the wine that you drink during the Lord's Supper is one of the two sacraments, and the wine is a symbol for the blood of Christ, so this might as well be Wendigo blood for Haseul, haha 😂

If we take the positions in the groups teasers as intentional, I also wanna point out that Kim lip and Haseul remain next to each other. So maybe we are gonna see more of a connection between them in the mv.
Also I decided to start looking into Greek mythology (back to my roots lol) and look if the representative animals of the girls are featured in the myths
Heejin: didn't really find much about rabbits but I found hares being associated with both Hermes and Artemis. I need to look more into that
Haseul: white doves are a symbol of aphrodite who is often in conflict with artemis. Mostly because aphrodite tries to lure some of Artemis's followers.
Kim lip: owl being of course linked to Athena who was also in conflict with aphrodite during the Trojan wars because of the whole golden apple situation
Jinsoul: could not find anything about the betta fish specifically but fishes in general are linked to Poseidon (who also was often in conflict with athena) but also there is type of betta fish called betta persephone which is the name of the queen of the Underworld
Choerry: couldn't find anything about fruits bats😅
What kinda supports my Haseul and Kim Lip are connected theory is that in some societies in Greece aphrodite was also worshipped as a goddess of war like Athena

About Aphrodite, she is linked to swans and apples and she is even feat. In Yves debut teasers (as a statue), so this would be an interesting way of connecting her with ARTMS!
On the other hand, I'm not quite sure how much they will put into this comeback about their assigned animals, since we didn't really get to see them in the teasers, but definitely interesting to say the least!
(also if you're interested in Greek mythology you can also take a look at Roman mythology, since they are sometimes linked, just like Selene is also called Luna in Roman mythology, which sounds a little bit like Loona)

the dining table and disney princess concept (associated with yyxy) was also in yeojin's kiss later music video in which choerry was pursuing yeojin for yves, and haseul is close to yeojin
when i analyzed the predebut music videos myself i noticed choerry and yves referencing haseul a lot, which i never figured out myself, but that's where i'm at😭😭
Yeah, there are a lot of pieces that kind of fit together, but it is kind of difficult to figure that out when you aren't looking at the MVs at the same time lol ^^

for some reason haseul’s teaser reminded me of the show hannibal, maybe just because thats one of my favourite shows. but there is a lot of wendigo imagery in that show, the lavish dinner table setting also reminds me of the dinners that hannibal prepares in the show and… the blood in the glasses is self-explanatory.

I already commented this under another comment, but besides Vivi having wings for their Loossemble teaser, Hyeju also had wings, so there might be something there. Like, Vivi, Hyeju and Jinsoul are connected in the Loonaverse, so they might be working together or something like that? (maybe Vivi and Hyeju are the two parts of Jinsoul, which would explain why they both have only one wing) ^^
OMG you're so quick! I thought that the angel with orange hair was ViVi especially with all the deer imagery. Along with that fact that she is a robot so "virtual" angel would make sense. But it also makes sense that it could be Jinsoul.

This is atached to Virtual Angel release but many think the Angel could be Loossemble as Artms may be trapped in some kind of simulation or alt reality and the light is Looble trying to free them, what do you think about this theory?

I think it will be interesting to look into the worship of Hekate-Artemis-Selene as a triad goddess. Maybe later on Hekate will be mentioned.
*btw, generally triple goddess represents the three phases of the moon: waxing (maiden), full moon (mother), waning (crone).

@@florastel Oh, and since the moon’s phases in this perspective can represent a woman aging or developing, it reminded me of Loossembles “Sensitive” MV when Gowon and Hyeju were senior women. It probably was representing the waning phase or the crone.

The painting with unicorn goddess is giving more simplified version of Yoshitaka Amano works than European medieval paintings tbh.
Also, the scary stag reminds me of Ravenstag in "Hannibal" series. In the series, the main character has 'hallucinations' about stag and cannot differentiates which event is real. It's in-line with the theme of 'virtual angel'. So, maybe the girls are confused which one of them is still real angel and which one is fake/fallen angel?
Considering yyxy's lore, fallen angel in Loonaverse is not the villain. So, Jinsoul could be the heroine?
Yeah, I don't really believe in the "good and evil" members theory either, but for this comeback, there might as well be an "evil entity" that controls the members. Then them being "virtual angles" would also play into this, since evil beings hide themselves as false angles from time to time, you know? ^^
It also is quite interesting that you compare the teaser with Hannibal, since I have heard this from multiple ourii this far, so there definitely is something there, I guess.😅
@@florastel Oh, I forgot something. In Muslim mythology, the 'devil' was an angel made from fire. Haseul's visualization in "Let me In" "So What" and "PTT", could be interpreted as 'fiery angel'. In the teaser, Haseul was depicted with the stag too. Could be Haseul also a fallen angel?
Addition, Park So-hyun, JJ's newest favorite collaborator, is Mads Mikkelsen's fan. So, there is possibility of "Hannibal" influence there.
I didn't know about this, but it would be kind of cool to get an MV in the style of the "Hannibal" show! ^^

9:28 on this asterisk symbol, it reminds me a bit of the theory/timeline in ‘so what’ where the moon explodes. like they froze time to prevent it, and the sky is yellow with the brightness from the explosion. idk if that is correct but that was my first thought.

About the not friends MV, it was never said outright if it was connected to the Loonaverse (but I remembers there being talk about it taking place in an alternate Loonaverse), but your theory is really interesting! This would then mean that Jinsoul bringing out the bad side of people could be a part of this comeback as well, I guess.🤔

I feel like virtual angel is vivi tho not jinsoul. Vivi is the only android in the whole loonaverse and both the groups are still going with their concepts of Loonaverse. In the Loossemble teaser for their upcoming album, Vivi even had wings symbolizing herself as an angel. I don't think Jinsoul is the virtual angel
