CTA hiring bus drivers to combat long wait times

- More than 800 drivers have been hired this year, and the the hiring will continue into next year.

It's a dangerous job. Crazy kids, no training how to act on a bus, road rage. Kids with mental issues. 😂😂😂
Half the issue is that many people can't pass the drug test. Also if you have so many incidents they will let you go (depending if showed not ur fault).
If you become a CTA bus driver, and someone boards the bus and does not pay, do you confront them or do you let them go? This can potentially be a life or death situation.
Cta tells their workers to let them go to prevent a bigger problem.
No fare disputes
i know a cta bus driver, young guy, that easily made over 100k last year ( he showed me to confirm). the ONLY issue is if they put u in a area full of assholes bus riders. id rather work on the train. conductors have less access to unruly customers - that want to do things like ride for free
After they fired people who didnt want to take some trash jab.
Its not worth it.
Don't do it. A little bit of money isn't worth your life
