New year, new video! I live in the north in the fifty-first American state 😂. Today I replaced rear diff oil on my 2023 Powerboost. It was more than 1/2 Quart lower from the factory and not really clean just after 10k miles on that truck. Also replaced transfer case fluid that was pretty dark already. And as many owners recommended on the powerboost forum, I checked the fuse box under the hood. Almost all the fuses and two relays were inserted into their sockets approximately halfway. This looks like a pretty useful app. I have the same adapter, but an iPhone and I'm interested in whether I can simultaneously see this information and listen to the audiobooks I'm used to. Thank you for your work and for continuing to share useful information with us!

I did the diff service this past summer but I've been dragging my feet to cut the video since it's so complicated. Nice work on doing the service early. Yes, you should be able to use Apple Carplay and listen to Carplay apps while you monitor pids. It's about time we can use that giant screen for something useful! cheers and welcome to the States lol

Thanks for taking the time to make this video and posting it. I just got around to setting up the PIDS and getting things up and running on Android Auto. Greatly helpful in understanding how the hybrid/electrical works on the PB. And, good information on the screen to keep any eye on things. Thanks, again!

Incredible video! I wished it can show it as dials vs numbers. It would look cooler 😎

Agreed! I'm sure that it won't be long before you can create a dashboard and cast it to your screen through the app

Just rewatched the battery video prior to this after looking around at options including lithium as a possible replacement. This obd on dash setup looks good. I have the Banks I dash gauges with lots of functionality and look good too. Your videos are very good!

I was going to add the battery monitor after watching your video on that topic. But after seeing this, I may go this route!!.......any thoughts on this solution to keep an eye on the 12V batt voltage??

The big advantage to the separate battery monitor is that it works 24x7 and can show you a history over the past xx days. Very specific tool for a very specific job. Monitoring PID readings is only for when the truck is running/on and does not show the inert state of the 12V battery.

Another great video! Can the OBD Fusion app read transmission temp? I cannot find the correct configuration on the OBD Link app and I am getting inaccurate data.

I searched on "transmission" under the PIDs and found "Transmission Fluid Temperature" in OBD Fusion.

Thanks, am going to try. I was worried about having to mess with another device in my truck. This eliminates this. TWO questions?
Is there any reason to load and pair OBDLink app now, or is Fusion the only app you need?
Also, have you experienced total failure of Android Auto Bluetooth after 3-4 hours on road trip, I use a Pixel 9 Pro with OnX and TH-cam Music going? This failure requires turning off the F150 PB 2022 engine and rebooting. The message is "Android Auto has stopped...try USB.." Too my knowledge, I have all the latest Ford updates.

If you just want the PIDs on Android Auto/CarPlay, then Fusion is all you need. I don't know the difference between the two in terms of resetting error codes and check engine lights. I have not had a failure like that with connection to the phone, however I generally run straight USB on longer trips.
