This story was actually very endearing for me, I'm a young adult absolutely lost on what career I want to do and this story helped me ease the pressure of it, as long as I do what I think's best and make good memories then everything will turn out okay

I’m going to be honest, Volo being interested in the Paradox Pokémon is something I could or should have seen coming. Of all the story events this month that I think further this game’s full storyline along, I wasn’t expecting this to be more interesting than something like the last Mysterious Stones chapter. Also notable is how it was mentioned that the events that happened in Area Zero were “fairly recent”. My question is, just how recent are we talking? I don’t think we’re going to get a concrete answer, sadly, but the idea that Masters could take place after all of the first eight generations, and simultaneously during and after Gen 9 opens some… interesting suggestions about the greater Pokémon timeline. That also goes well with the lack of a Hisuian or Paldean Villain Arc, too.

Noland knows ORAS Brendan and vice-versa, so this could possibly be the ORAS frontier brains, who might have never met "an anabel" in their dimension. Highly possible that she was simply never born in the universe she dropped into, and they're just not the characters she knew. Nor would Looker have any idea who she was canonly, either.
This time the suspense is really on. What happens when Cynthia releases Volo’s true intent? Will Anabel remember her past in the battle frontier if more space time phenomena occur in Pasio? Will the AI professors come back? And how will Arceus play into all this?
I wish Anabel could’ve reunited with the other Frontier Brains and recovered her memories, even if she stayed a police officer. I know living in the present is important, but her past is important too, even if she doesn’t remember it.
With scream tail wonder if it means more will come. Future and past. Way it's eyes turn demonic at 0:44 Arven if he wants to be a cook he should see Kofu or Siebold. With Penny gadgeteers like Clemont and Sophocles could help.

How are Paradox Pokemon anymore savage than a Pokemon like Veluza who will attack you if you so much as dip a toe into the lake? Or Gyarados who can wreck entire cities if it gets angry enough? Also, there are trainers on Pasio who own dangerous Legendary Pokemon. They are making way too big a deal of Paradox Pokemon. They're just Pokemon. No worse than any other Pokemon.
I'm guessing it's something like the primal instinct of "This is new, I don't know what this is, and doesn't look conventionally cute or pretty, so it's scary and bad and I hate it and it will kill me". Like, they fear UBs far more than the also brutally destructive Gyarados and Hydreigon because UBs just came from another dimension and know nothing about them, while you can just be walking on the beach and see a Gyarados minding its business. Elgyem and Beheeyem are known extraterrestial Pokémon as well and people don't fear them because they arrived at their planet 50 years ago. The Clefairy line also came from space via meteorites yet are quite popular in-universe.

I think it's an allegory to Invasive Species that's super exaggerated for the world. Pokemon like Paradox and UBs the most insane versions of invasive species, and if they are allowed to go out of control could cause serious damage to the environment. But it might be a stretch.

The population from the newly stablished Jubilife Village all come from different regions, each one with a different level of understanding and cooperation between humans and Pokémon, to make a new life for themselves. One can easily figure out which NPCs came from Kanto or a more advanced region just by doing side quests. Those who are already used to things help others who don't know them get used to them, know about them and love them. This is what the protag of PLA did in Hisui. That's the beauty of communication, to help each other out of fear caused by ignorance. That said, people in the Kalos of 3000 years ago commanded Pokémon in wars without Pokéballs. It's important to teach that Pokémon are living beings just like humans, not weapons, or else...
Gyarados is known to be dangerous and there's extensive research that's likely been done on Gyarados. Meanwhile, the guy who wrote informative entries on Pokémon had nothing to say about it but "it looks like something I saw in a magazine once". Pretty much the ONLY thing known about Paradox Pokémon to the few that know about them is that they're dangerous. Skilled trainers know how to control Gyarados or Veluza or Legendary Pokémon, but it's the fear of the unknown that makes them wary of Paradox Pokémon.
It's nice to see Volo here interacting with Paldea characters.
