Just bought a set of TAB with zombie baffles for my ‘18 Road Glide....they have a great sound and are louder than stock! ....your bike sounds great too!! 👍🏻👍🏻
This is the second time today I have come across TAB slip on's, looks like I better head on over to the website cause I can hear em calling my name...thanx for the second heads up Motorman 👍👍😎
Thank you so much for posting this. Your timing couldn’t have been better. I have been wanting to get some TABs for my 2018 CVO Road Glide but couldn’t decide between the Zombies or the 2.5” baffles. Being in the UK we don’t get to hear the different options very easily. After watching your video I’m going for the 2.5” as I don’t want to go too loud. Your bike looks and sounds great. Thanks again 👍🏻
I've had three sets and now have?Vance Nd Hines Intimidators 4 inch. I took the baffles out cut off the fiber dock through out and reinstalled. I think this will work on any slipons if you want more low end sound .
Thanks for all the great videos Motorman, I too have the TAB Performance with Zombie baffles on my 2019 Ultra Limited, dig them! After about 1000 miles they mellowed a bit. Great pipes for the money.
I remember back in 2009 when I bought a new bike FOH I certainly did consider these for this company for new mufflers I thought they were quite good in the end I went with something I bought used on eBay it’s what I could afford You sound real good ...always enjoy your videos
I had a Road King, great bike. I was totally H-D since '82. I've since discovered the new Indians, I have a 2016 Chieftain. Would you new-to-H-D-types at least give me the courtesy of a "wave-back"?
wait about 500 - 1000 miles to judge the sound as it will change to the true sound your going to end up with as the baffles get broke in or burnt in if you prefer.
so I wanted to ask you a question that doesn't have anything to do with the pipes...What is your opinion of the way the bike feels with the windshield rather than a fairing like your previous bike? Why did you choose a road king over an Ultra Classic? I have heard some say the Fairing models perform better with wind than Windshield models and I was curious what you thought...Thanks
For sure, the batwing fairing blocks more wind. With the windshield you get a lot more wind come up from under the windshield. The last 4 bikes I had were E/Glide police models. I just wanted to have something a little different.
I consulted a Harley fuel injection engineer I know, about that exact subject. He stated, the computer on Harley's are GM Delphi unit's. And that after 2 tanks of gas, the computer would adjust itself to the extra air flow. However, the HP and Torque peak will rise by about 300 rpm. With all the low end torque of the M8 motors I can't feel any performance losses or gains.
Jerry, do you have to have the police bike to get an air horn to work. I am a retired Motor Deputy and I just bought my first Harley. It's an Electra Glide Standard, is it possible to put the police air horn on this? Love the videos, be safe and watch your six.
You would have to get the entire police wiring harness, plus the amp, about 450 bucks and then the siren speaker, about 300 bucks. The police E/Glide of course, comes with the harness and as of 2019, the 114 motor and standard ABS for 2K less than the E/Glide standard.
@@marceaton3128 Not to pour more salt in the wound but, you can also order the police bikes in dozens of colors and anybody can buy one. The dealer just has to keep it in their demo fleet for 90 days.
You know motorman if you put on the quiet baffles they do brake in and that might work to. What if the mid range baffles are to load after they brake in. Good luck.
If I'm thinking rite (correct me if im wrong) you now have the Tabs on two bikes now so you must like them. I've got an 18 Roadmaster and looking at these. In your opinion how would they be for the longer trips? Love the sound but not wanting to drown out the stereo on passenger at highway speeds.
I have the 4'' with the medium baffles and the 4.5'' with the zombie baffles. Neither are obnoxious. What you should do is with either size, order the zombie baffles and the medium baffles and you'll be able to decide for yourself. Use the coupon code MOTORMAN 3 for the discount.
Jerry, love those pipes! TAB also offers pipes for all the touring models. I checked them out a few minutes before I logged into TH-cam. The only negative is the price.
I guess I stole my Vance and Hines new old stock $280 free shipping. Sound awsome. My last Harley will be the Roadking Special. Less bulk less?weight but still a touring Harley
Motor man I love tone of medium baffle. Our you running high flow air filter or fuel enrichment systems? Bikes run so lean from factory. Thank you for great videos.
I get serious ringing in my ears from my 2019 ultra with stock pipes, wish I could find some good sounding quiet pipes. Do you notice the 114 motor in your ears more than the older, smaller engines?
Your stock were louder. I would of saved the 500 bucks and just stayed with them. The Zombie baffles sound much better. Also for better deals on slip ins, look at Full Boar and Wild Pigs slip ons.
Beautiful bike. I just brought home a 2019 Road Glide yesterday. I will consider those pipes when I go to change the stock ones.

Medium would be my choice , sweet color on your Hd
Medium all the way! I can’t get past the beauty of that classic bike Jerry. HD Road Kings are as sweet as they come in motorcycles. 👍🏻

I agree... The "medium" baffles sound the best , in my opinion .
Agree 😃
Beautiful bike man wow congratulations be safe out there and have fun!
They don't sound like Zombies! They sound like Beasts! 👍😎
Can't wait to put these on my 2018 Road Glide!
That Blue is Beautiful 😃
Love your vids. Took your class last year in Macon Ga.
thanks.
At 70 miles an hour, for the same RPM, you’ll have to give it more throttle, and the sound will be louder.
Thanks for the tip.
Man really enjoyed the demonstration, I like the medium as well, great sound, thanks.
Sweet bike, dude! I just bought a Heritage but I am liking this as my next bike...maybe in a year or so. Liked and subbed!
Nice video again, motorman!....Me I like the zombie model.
I love your videos motorman...those slip ons have me thinking of going another route from the neighbor haters...great video...thanks and ride safe
i noticed the heat shield under the seat, did that come with the bike?
Yes.
Nice bike motorman!
thanks.
Thanks Motorman, sounds good.

sounds good l like the medium
Not bad. I may check them out.
I been looking at these for 2019 RG for the longest just hesitating with buying
Nice! Thanks for the video....
You're welcome.
NICE.... Thank You for posting.!.!.!.!
Just ordered a set for my 2022 RKS. What is that turbo looking thing mounted on the right side of your bike on the crash guard?
I Have a 2017 police roadking and mine only has the 107
No need to respond. I just read the comments. Thanks.
Jerry, love your videos. Did the Tab Slash slip ons require any tuning of the ECM? Thx.
Would you need to do a flash-tune after from stock pipes to the Tab slip-on's ?
I consulted a Harley fuel injection engineer I know, about that exact subject. He stated, the computer on Harley's are GM Delphi unit's. Ride Like a Pro Jerry Palladino this deserves some study..
I have the Cobra NH the only way to really shop for pipes is in person. You can’t really get the true sound on the computer.
I like it !!! Nice bike, congratulations !!! God bless you !!!
Thanks.

Sounds good.

Is Jerry still running these slip ons?
Yes of course.
The mediums sound louder to me
Ride hard,, ride fast, stay out of the way.
You would be shocked how nice it sounds with stock pipes w/baffles deleted.
I guess I stole my Vance and Hines new old stock $280 free shipping. Sound awsome. My last Harley will be the Roadking Special. Less bulk less?weight but still a touring Harley
How do you like the Milwaukee Eight?
love it.
Loud pipes saves lives
Got any tips for grass clippings?
No but thanks for your input.
All kidding aside... I have the DVD and watch all the tips. great videos.
Ride around them not over them. SMH.
Motor man I love tone of medium baffle. Our you running high flow air filter or fuel enrichment systems? Bikes run so lean from factory. Thank you for great videos.
Everything else is stock. I was advised by an H.D. engineer that there's no need to change A/F ratio as the computer will compensate for the change.
M8’s don’t run so lean from the factory. That was the case with Twin Cam engines, not M8’s.
Loud pipes save lives, but they piss off your neighbors!
The prices for slip one isn’t just absurd, it’s obscene!
I get serious ringing in my ears from my 2019 ultra with stock pipes, wish I could find some good sounding quiet pipes. Do you notice the 114 motor in your ears more than the older, smaller engines?
No I didn't notice that. You might consider using ear plugs. It's low frequency sounds that damage the hearing and that mainly comes from wind noise.
@@motorman857 will be trying a new windshield. Foam earplugs don't help. Trying motorcycle specific plugs. Thanks
Earpiece earplugs are good for the money and better than foamies.
Motor man can you do u turns on one of them bikes with that big 30" front wheel
Yes I can. If you bring one of them to me, I'll show you.
@@motorman857 they just seem awkward

The medium loud actually is quieter than the stock pipes. Stick with the stock and save your money.
Believe me, the medium baffles are louder than stock and a deeper sound. But thanks for the tip.
So.. when you going to sell this 💙 to Me(?) - You traded it in.. didn’t you (??) 😢 PS - 1.75” / 2.5” ..then Zombie 🧟

I sold it last year to someone in PA.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion but I can assure you the stock pipes are not louder than the Tab exhaust with either of the baffles.
Stock mufflers for me. They have class.
