In today's video I show you how I created my UNOFFICIAL entry for The Photo Editing Challenge, titled: Buddy & Friends. For this edit I carefully picked 13 photos from Unsplash. To blend everything together I used a tons of layer masks, 57 adjustment layers, 17 live filters and of course my custom brushes.

I think I'm actually willing to beg if necessary to get you to release the full video. I'm blown away by your skills and would especially love to learn your method for colour matching using a black and white adjustment followed by a gradient map and also how you cut out subjects with hair and fur so well. Learning how to composite properly while still finding my way around Affinity Photo is such a steep learning curve.

I like the composition, it looks very good. Nice how you first match the luminosity and after that the colors. I would like to see the full 3h video. I think I can learn a lot from it.

The application closes when the brush is installed. Where is the location of the affinity brush? Is it possible to copy and paste the brush to it, Windows 11
I’m not entirely sure what you mean. The brushes are located in the Brush Panel? And the .afbrushes-file is probably located in your downloads folder. I only know how to import them from inside the app. Unfortunately I don’t have experience copying them directly into the AP folder..

I'm new to Affinity. Quit watching at the 3-minute mark as I haven't got a clue as to what button you are pushing.
Makes sense as these are more advanced photo editing techniques. Once you got the basics dialed in, you’ll probably understand a bit better! 🙌
