if anyone deserves a knighthood its this man, a gent, a legend, a once in a generation presenter, Soccer Saturday will never be the same again, thankyou for everything
What an absolute legend. All the best Jeff, thank you for the great memories!
Saturday afternoons will never be the same. Jeff you are unbelievable. Thank you for making my afternoons as a Newcastle United supporter when we are losing, drawing and better still winning so memorable.
Been years since I lived in the UK or had sky tv for that matter. But as a kid Jeff’s energy was infectious and I loved watching soccer Saturday
L.E.G.E.N.D. This gentleman is the spokesperson for all 92 English Pyramid clubs and so much more. We cannot say thank you enough for what he has done, achieved and how many of us he raised through our common livelihood, football. Congratulations and all the best in your next chapter.
Wow I watched this man for years I'm 30 he's been there more than my own parents haha miss you Jeff you made this show what it became no one can replace you, one of a kind gentleman
I don’t see how they can replace Jeff, this show will never be the same
They can't, their standard has now gone down
Thogden is replacing him my god 🤣🤣
With Jeff Stelling gone, Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas, and Chris Kamara. Soccer Saturday will not be the same ever again.😢 I can't believe he's being replaced.
It was a hard watch after the 3 lads got the sack and Kammy leaving, but with Jeff gone, it's the nail in the coffin.
@The Star Wars Cantina That was the biggest mistake Sky Sports ever made by sacking Phil Thompson, Matt Le Tissier, and Charlie Nicholas. I understood why Chris Kamara had to leave because of his apraxia of speech, but sacking Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson, and Charlie Nicholas was a step too far. Now, with the best Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, Presenter being replaced, I think a lot of people will tune out with him gone.
that hit me harder than i thought it would, i remember watching it every week for the best part of 10 years and so many happy memories, amazing show, amazing panel and just some great entertainment for those of us lucky to tune in and watch
Every time they play that clip of Chris Kamara at Portsmouth when he missed the red card I burst out laughing, without fail. I think it might be the funniest thing I've ever seen, the pair of them were brilliant together.
Jeff, you have brought fun, laughter, and joy into our lives, and we have needed that over the last few years!
When you're not watching your team live, you turn on to soccer Saturday for the next few hours, laughing and enjoying the results coming in. Thank you so much
Saturdays just won't be the same. All the best 👍
Jeff Stelling absolute true Legend of sport gonna be missed big time on Saturday afternoons
I have been tuning in to Soccer Saturday since 2000 such an iconic program with Jeff running the show
Soo nice to see past pundits like Frank McClintock Alan Mullery Clive Allen Matt Le Tissier Charlie Nicholas Phil Thompson and of course Chris Kamara pay their farewell tributes to Jeff
Thanks for all the Amazing memories Jeff best of luck for the future pal 😢❤👍👏
Wow, I feel like a bit of my youth has gone, especially seeing all of those nostalgic clips. I’d stay at my grandparents every weekend with Soccer Saturday on in the living room, and Notts on the radio in the kitchen. His wit and love for the game, and the camaraderie of all the guests really made you feel like you were listening in on a group of mates down at the pub. Happy memories.
I'm so sad to know we won't be hearing his voice again soccer Saturday will never be the same you are the voice of football one word = LEGEND Thank you for all the memories Jeff
Watched that with a tear in my eye - yes it's a team, but Jeff is the team leader, a brilliant presenter and utter legend of broadcasting. Our weekends won't be the same. Thanks for the memories Jeff 🍻

Thank you to the unbelievably Jeff Stelling. Also thank you to the background music of Sigur Rós with Hoppípolla, from the album Takk....
I'm 29 and you've been the sky sports news presenter from when I first started watching football. You have played such a huge part in developing mine and millions of others love for the game! Absolutely irreplaceable, however you more than anyone deserve the chance to sit at home on a Saturday afternoon now and let someone tell you the goings on around the country. Enjoy your time doing whatever you choose. Usually a saying exclusive to footballing icons but you deserve this mantra too... Football will never be the same without you. Goodbye Jeff. 😭😫
