I am Amanda from Hong Kong. I make easy and practical cantonese learning videos for complete beginners to intermediate level.
My full time job is a flight attendant. I enjoy studying foreign languages. My job allows me to visit many places and meet many people. So that I have more chances to practice what I have learned.
Due to the covid, I haven't fly regularly for over a year. I find TH-cam is extremely helpful for maintaining my language proficiency. One day, out of curiosity, I looked for cantonese learning channels. I was so surprised that there are so little and most of the good one are even from overseas. That's why I started "5 minute cantonese" on 2020.
❤❤thank you so much
You are most welcome 😀
Selamat pagi Amanda,terima kasih...🎉
You are most welcome 😀
After watching this episode, I have to remind myself: don't forget to remember to watch your weekly video on a topic of interest !!!
😆 Thank you very much!
still the best.
Thank you very much 😊

Your lessons are very good. Just out of curiosity : do you speak Mandarin?
If I were you , I would have two channels one English Cantonese the othet English Mandarin. Instead of Italian Cantonese and English Cantonese. Trust me , you will become so big in a year or two , because you explain very well . You are one of the best. This comes from a polyglot teacher who has watched hundreds of teaching materials.
Thank you very much! You are very kind! Yes, I can speak Mandarin. 😅 It's hard to maintain one channel with my job. But it's really a good idea. I'll think 🤔 about it.
💯
Thank you!😁
Thanks for this lesson. Since we talk about keys here, how can I say I forgot my car key at home? Is it ngo5 m4 gei3 dak1 zo2 ngo5 ge3 ce1 so2 si4 hai2 uk1 gei2?
We will say like this: I forgot to bring my key." or "I left my keys at home"
I guess I don't need to translate the 1st one. The 2nd one is a bit difficult.
ngo5 lau6 daai1 zo2 tiu4 so2 so4 hai2 uk1 kei2
