I have only been to this beach twice but love it! Scotch bonnets are a favorite of mine as well. Thanks for sharing.

Would you consider leaving the shells at the beach? Your skill at shell identification is undeniable but you may be missing a crucial stewardship opportunity. Use your megaphone to spread the word about how and why living creatures make and use shells. The vacated ones become homes for new sea life. Our oceans need that calcium carbonate to counter acidification. If you find a shell with a living mollusk inside, you could use it a a teaching moment. (I find it horrifying that people stab, scrape, pull and cook soft-bodied creatures out of their shells, just because they want to take over someone else's tiny home... for what?) If you truly love, value and want to honor the shells upon the beach, pick them up them, name them, make a video, take a picture, and then leave them where they belong.
Thank you for walking more gently on our shared Earth and giving this some thought. Appreciated.

Thank you for the comment Bruce! I also agree that it is horrible people take live shells home. Even though I have not explicitly stated in my videos I do not take home any live creatures and I don't keep every shell that I find on the beach. I also like to bring shells back to the beach following videos. I try my best to be conscious of the environment and I will take into consideration your comment! Thanks for watching.
