I don't believe the Violet and Puppycat are robots I think it's possible that they may have cybernetic enhancement or they just have weird alien biology.

I agree, cause also Puppycat bleeds. Which is a sign to me he's a living organic lifeform, if he was separated into different puppycats by using magic then it would still make sense.

Maybe Bee's father was inspired by Puppycats new, divided form to create Bee.
Perhaps that's why we also see Puppycat pieces in Bee as well?
IMO: I believe that the symbols in his eyes were a reflection of the symbols of magic from the warlocks - it's obvious the weird white creatures that live in that RGB universe w/ the dead body have similar symbols on their face that were shown in puppycats eyes. But because of his deep down feeling of betrayal from the princess, said magic mustve been skewed and reflected off of Puppycat's emotions at the time - either Violet jumping into save puppycat by killing the one dead RGB man, or even the magic from puppycat was reflected onto the body and caused it to expire.
Were also hinted during the 'sad music box' part about the 'king in heaven' (The princesses father) / 'The princess in the forest' (Most likely the princess being locked away by her father) / 'The witch in her slumber' - (might be referring to the dead body, or even violet, though it's unlikely) / 'and the prince all alone' (referencing to puppycat having lost his memory through unknown means & being left alone).
Considering Violet & Puppycat were both once children shows that they were organic lifeforms that grew into what they were when discussing the candy-hunting. It's unlikely they're robots like Bee, because Bee's father wouldn't have much of a reason to turn them into a robot unless they sustained a very horrible injury. Though Violet's voice did change to sound a bit robotic & the machines she's hooked up could infer that she is some sort of cyborg-type person, as a result of maybe even trying to save puppycat from getting killed.
EDIT: it's also established that Violet is very close to puppycat as it is, and the old artwork refrenced in one of your videos could elude to the fact she had snitched on their runaway, causing them to be caught, without having told puppycat
The princess was shown shooting Space Outlaw. So I assume she cast her own spell or something like that to muddle the Warlock spell.

@@chaos4654 it would- but maybe the magic turning him into a monster was an accident- after puppy cat became puppy cat maybe they all stopped their magic attack except dead RGB man; which killed him, hence why he's dead?
if you look at the scene with bee's father, there two other boxes. Bee is linked with the star box but there is also a moon and a diamond one. Those could be other bee type robots out there that utilize the boxes for service.

I don't think puppycat is a robot. If you notice, the ocean gives off those three symbols of the triangle, squiggle shape, circle, square, etc.
There's the scene where he cracks open the candy and you see those sames shapes. Baby dad says they are pure energy. Aka some sort of magical energy (this world is wacky).
The magical energy that is reverberating from the ships parts, and I think it resonated with Puppycat and unlocked his buried memories. The symbolism of that happening with the shapes showing in his eyes. Furthermore, the flowers that grab him form from Violets magical tears that are caused by Muhlys magical donuts.
Overall I think it's more magic going on and not robotics. It would be ridiculous for him to be a robot from a narrative standpoint when we know Bee is most likely a cyborg. Having everyone being a robot makes....no sense in my opinion. Space Outlaw clearly is incredibly insecure. Being that they both ran away from home, they weren't raised or nurtured by parents or role models. Which explains his behavior. He's very childish and immature.
Again theories are for everyone. But them all being robots? No. Bee yes. Everyone else no. In my opinion again.
The underwater stuff is just bees machines shining, more robots.
Yess, I agree with a lot of what you said!! I also found it a bit off if a lot of the characters were actually robots/cyborgs instead of magical/alien related beings. But then again, it would make sense if some characters, for example Violet, were part cyborg because then it’d explain the wires attached to her so she can “sleep.”
I suspect that Bee may even be a cyborg human hybrid, because she was a child once who got sick.
I think her father may have experimented on her to make her more like the magical elements he saw in the alien life forms, & may even have drawn inspiration from Puppycat's true form, or post transformation form (with all the Puppycats).
I believe Puppycat have not lost his memories of being the space outlaw. He never acted like he had amnesia he also said in one chapter 'I've been in problems since forever' referring to his prior life of being an outlaw. He just do not like to look into his past, what he used to be. It is clear that he has been stuck in puppycat's form since a lot of time, when he used to babysit little Bee he was already a cat (and Bee is like 20 years older than Deckard) so imagine, after minimum 40 years of being what he is, I think he has just gave up going back to be normal. Puppycat only wants to re-do his life and have a fresh start because he do not longer believes he can be the space outlaw again. Although his past still chasing him, he doesn't want to turn back and open to Bee about his past.
Bee doesn't recognize Puppycat from being a baby, but Puppycat never acted like he has just met her in the day she got fired.
Oooh that last point is poignant, he really do be acting like he know her & like he has such a relationship with her that he can tell her what to do or not be afraid of how she'll react 😂
The only reason I don't think Puppycat is a robot is bc he gets sick and he bleeds. I know that's flimsy but I think he's organic just based on those two instances.
yep. Throughout the show we see Bee's father, Violet, Puppycat, and Deckard's family growing up and becoming adults and Puppycat and Cardomon both got sick. Bee was sick as a baby when Puppycat first met her and her father, but after he roboticized her she stopped growing (as seen in Deckard's memory when she's the exact same age and he's a baby) and she never gets sick throughout the series despite Puppycat and HER getting sick earlier on while she was still human. He also, y'know, poops, which is something Bee doesn't do. He just poops stars, for some reason. So he doesn't use their toilet, and Bee doesn't either which is why it's full of food as a way to store it since she doesn't have a kitchen.
I do not think Puppycat/The Outlaw is a robot. My evidence for this simply comes from Funny Lying, where Bee's dad seems to be a child, however later in the episode The Outlaw (prior to being an outlaw, I would think) is seen as a child as well. I see you touched on this already though, but that's my line of thinking.
I think the shapes in his eyes are caused by the magic that transformed him. These shapes are related to energy which is seemingly also derived from the "space candy". The shapes may be the "components" of energy, something like elements found in our universe. This energy seems to have all kinds of applications as they're integrated in to Bee's Dad's inventions ("I think we can make something better") which is why they radiate from the water, and they are also seen when the young outlaw transforms when the ring is activated in the flashback.
The shapes are also seen on the screen with the "Battery Roster" where they are accompanied by gauges for each one. This could make sense as the ship might need these various components of energy to function, which may also be the reason for Violet and Cardamon to be connected to the device that makes them sleep.
Anyway, I always love to hear about theories surrounding the show, they're really interesting to think about! It makes me want the next part just so we get some answers. The payoff would be so satisfying.

I think it would at least be weird if they were robots! Because they do age, it would be a convoluted story for the outlaw to be an organic child, grow up, get injured & need to be cybernetically modified, & then magically transformed or split up into a Puppycat.
It would seem there is something more strictly biological & magical going on here !
If anything, I can imagine that they may be either a strange kind of species made of multiple beings, or maybe that's how the space outlaw is ?
& in inspiration by one of those elements, whether Puppycat was always like that or made to be like that, Bee's father experimented on her after she was sick to give her the traits she observed in the magics & in Puppycat, & maybe the energy sources/elements as well.
I think the symbols on Puppycat's eyes and inside the candy is probably a sign most life, magic spells, and technology probably derive their power from the same source.
I also feel the glowing lines on Violet are probably more likely either a biological quirk of her body reacting to a magical force, or just how magical energy flows in her species.
Personally I think the bullet fired by the princess in puppycat's memory/dream hit the one dead warlock we see and is the reason the spell went wrong. Puppycat thinks she fired it at him, but she was really doing it to protect him. Also just throwing this out there but umm...Puppycat goes poop, which is something only an organic lifeform would do. Bee clearly does not, as she uses her toilet for storage since she doesn't have a kitche/fridge. Puppycat however does. And he mentions usually using the bushes, with the one Wizard family brother (whose name I forget) who keeps the diary of secrets writing that puppycat 'poops into the stars' or whatever. Then we see him poop in that one episode and he does indeed poop stars.
I've always kind of hated the idea of the Outlaw and Violet being robots, although I can't figure out a good excuse as to why they're shown or at least implied to have machine parts; them just having cybernetic enhancements feels too easy. I dunno, I'm okay with certain characters like Moully being robots, but with these two it somehow feels like it makes Bee being a robot less special.

Absolutely fell in love with this show! I can't believe it only came out this month! I have a few theories as well (spoilers ahead! You have been warned) I think those candies are the building blocks of any sentient life in the Puppycat universe, which would explain why they're so valuable and why Bee needs them to maintain her. Kinda like the amino acids that we call the building blocks of life. I actually think that Puppycat may have been born the Space Outlaw but his life of candy hunting made him need to add "upgrades". Theoretically, he was already a sentient alien being made up of the space candies, so it would be easy for him to start using the candies to make changes to himself. (one of the changes I really think is his voice, there's no way his voice is actually that deep lol) Maybe one of the creatures he used to get some of the upgrades were tiny sentient puppycats. I'm thinking about it almost like a Horcrux from Harry Potter where you can put your soul into different objects. But in this application, the puppycats get an equal exchange by getting some of the Space outlaw's energy but then they have to become part of him. I hope this makes sense hehe.
Bee and puppy at actually originally came out years ago and you can watch the whole original web series on TH-cam (an account called cartoon hangover I believe). The Netflix show repeated the original episodes in much more detail as well as adding a few extra however the original is still incredibly charming to watch!

Late but I think the other Puppycats actually were just representing the other pieces of Bee, perhaps all showing their own interpretations of Puppycat while also highlighting how important they all felt Puppycat was to her life. We only saw them in her dreams and their real life counterparts were Bee's parts, which were of the same colors :0

My completely random bee and puppycat theory is that space princess is actually just puppycat’s mom and she’s trying to get him home
yea! especially when he specifically says he's going to miss his mum before going with violet onto the spaceship when they were kids, showing that despite her sending him to that horrible teacher, they probably had a close relationship . . also the fact the princess and the outlaw look so similar, like they're the same race of alien/cyborg thing.

for me I don’t really think violet or puppycat are robots, we see a scene of the space outlaw(puppycat) and violet in school, which means bees father wasn’t even born so how could they be robots, but it might be that they aren’t humans (well duh) or “aliens” of some sort

It’s also weird that in the candy hunter backstory when violet was happy about how much candy they’ve won it shows their team name as team puppycat. Which means puppycat is something they’re aware of early on.

Maybe he was puppycat first, then he got turned into a robot by bees dad to fulfill his space cadet dream, then something bee happened to him like when bee gets ripped apart, turning him back into what he once was
Can we talk about how young dad Bee look? He must be very old but still look very young , suspisus..
It's possible they all became robots violate,PC, and bees dad due to the explosion with candy when bees dad hit it with his toy hammer. It's possible he either rebuilt them with nanomachines. PC's nanomachines being puppycats. However It's possible another reason for the machines was required fixations in order to survive space and their missions. As for the story PC is unreliable narrator. We got confirmation from the creator he is the outlaw. However the spell likely messed him up affecting his memories. However the biggest Easter egg that hints at something more at play I s the ship being named puppycat. It's like PC took the name as a sort of rosebud twist.

Personally I don’t think space outlaw/puppycat is a robot, to me at mostly just an alien with minor cyborg enhancements.
I think what’s forgotten is the fact there’s raw magic in this universe and everything isn’t all just robots. I doubt Bee’s father is that much of a hyper genius he can perfectly recreate alien species as robots.
While I agree violet being partially cybernetic. However with the space outlaw I disagree as space outlaw alien species is so magical and the magic in B&PC also have those symbols when used.
I also believe all of the mini puppy cats are just visuals of the show as Bee is some what alluded to having some sort of pre-cognition dreams. Puppycat is just used as those fill in gaps as puppycat is the only person Bee has been with besides the wizard family, Cardamom, and Captain

It wasn't until looking at the classroom flashback just now that I realized how much the other students vaguely resemble Puppycat, reaching the same conclusion you presented about a minute later that Puppycat was always Puppycat & is superimposing a childlike version of the Space Outlaw on his own memories of his childhood
As far as I can tell there's only one problem with this theory, but it's a big one, which is that these memories also establish Violet as having always been the same kind of humanoid that the Space Outlaw is-I'm not sure how to reconcile these two things, unless maybe Violet was also originally a Puppycat-type creature & the flashback only shows her in humanoid form because it's a memory colored by his perception of her & their relationship
Or maybe she was the only humanoid in the class & he remembers himself in a similar form because of the connection they had
But if we're gonna venture into the territory of Puppycat being an unreliable narrator with unreliable memories, then I guess it's entirely possible that everything we see in terms of Violet's adventures with the Space Outlaw are suspect-maybe Puppycat only remembers Bee's father as an infant because in his mind he was Violet's equal, with the reality being that Puppycat was more of a pet/sidekick while Violet & Bee's father were both adults in a relationship with each other, which would help explain why Cardamon resembles Bee's father so much, seems to have such an affinity for the same technology like the mallet, & is always going around fixing things
I guess the real takeaway here is damn I really wish Netflix would greenlight Volume II already
