I highly doubt that there the same people, they are two whole different story one of betrayal and one of love. either way if she was the space princess I'm certain puppycat would've realized it he has human type emotions as well. Idk that's just my opinion
mue Well have you heard of Puppycat’s story?! It basically sums up the two motives of each story. And like I said previously about how puppycat and the space princess are taking two very different forms (magic is magic in this show) therefore neither one senses the other which can provide many reasons
I feel like the princess analogy is just representative of her being a landlord of a huge apartment complex that was probably in her family for generations. She probably left and fell in love, but eventually returned where the person she loved for some reason couldn't follow.
I think the octopus is his dad and she's the princess. My theory is that mom knew she was leaving/dying and going into a coma (symbolism is her having to stay in her kingdom). I believe that the gift that the mom leaves the dad is a part of herself, Cardamom himself. But something happened and he was terrified of losing cardamom. In a panic, he ends up destroying himself, probably literally as a result of depression. Another theory is that the dad became addicted to alcohol or drugs because of his depression (people do crazy things to escape reality and in this case it'd be to stave off the stress of the mom being sick) and cardamom was taken away. There's so many possibilities with this story and none of them are ever happy ones 😭

I've been dying to tell someone this. But if you stop at 2:24, you'll see Cardamon, his mom, and apparently Bee? on the frame. My theory is that Cardamon and Bee are Siblings. Or related in some way.

3:57 her hair is Abit similar to the mother..? Because of the tips the waves and all that. (Just a thought) and she could have also hidden/gotten rid of her antenna because she had went to earth changing her appearance. Just a thought ://
Damn, what if she was actually the space princess, then went to earth to become the jellyfish princess, then I think she was punished to get in a coma cause she left her planet or the atmosphere is toxic to her kind
What if his mother represents the octopus? She sees Cardamon as a peice of her lover that she left behind Also, the doughnut Bea gave Cardamon was different than the others, so maybe it has different effects other than granting wishes
Did anyone think about this Bee doesn't have a father or a mother supposedly. Just like cardamon they dont have a father. In one episode (I think ) the donut episode there is a picture on the wall of bee, cardamon and maybe their mother. The lady with purple hair awake and in the picture with them in Cardamons house. Again this isnt cannon it's just what I noticed
Alright. I have an alternative. She's not a princess at all and they were never at sea. The girl may have actually been truly lost physically or mentally. And The man met her and fell in love with her the same night, noticing her hair first. They make love probably in the spur of the moment. Okay, check this out. The girl definitely has some sort of feelings for the man but for whatever reason, they could not be together right now. Maybe she is already sick at this point or coming to terms with an illness that will eventually kill her. Who knows. His mom giving the man her hair could be literal or symbolic for giving her heart to him. That being said whatever she gave him came with something else...the same disease that she has and it ultimately kills him. Now he dies but she is left with something more a part of him and a part of her creates a jellyfish in other words Cardomon. We got that. However, there are multiple jellyfish and I think we see 3 wash up onshore. But uh oh! The same thing that killed his father might be about to kill Cardomon too. Snuggling up so close in his Mother's hair seems to be getting him sick judging by the cough and his sluggish behavior but he doesn't know or care. What did his mother give the octopus? Her hair and they also spent a lot of time together. Soo just being near her or her hair seems to be getting them sick. Cardoman hasn't gotten anyone else sick so her hair my literally be what spreads the sickness.
This is a little late, but- I think maybe it isn't Cardamon's mom's hair. In this episode it was winter or at least cold outside, right? Him getting sick would make sense due to the weather. I think it's just a way to show that he's not taking care of himself, opting to take care of his mother instead, and as a result he got sick.
@@pennhazezelton7183 That makes a lot of sense considering in a clip of Cardamon crying I saw from Lazy in Space, he was fine and it seemed to be at least spring or summer in the clip.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the birds eye image of the princess riding on top of the octo in the sea literally looks like sperm entering an egg. Further hinting that this whole story was a metaphor as to how his mum and dad met and conceived him.
it always drove me crazy how cardamon fed his mom the entire donut, when just a little piece worked for his dog. why didnt he just save some for himself and wish that his mom would wake up
i was rewatching bee and puppycat, and i noticed that after cardomon's mom ate the donut, she started crying and you can see small jellyfish in her tears. could this be something that ties her into that tale?
To anyone looking at the newest comments. This is referring to the original first season to the series released on TH-cam, and he likely didnt watch the leaked LiS episodes. Whether or not the story line actually changed in the Netflix series (though it very likely did) the character isn't Violet yet.
Everything about this show seems so chill but yet so empty inside at the same time like there could be tons of dark meaning to it but it just makes u feel empty inside in a sort of way. Life goes on but you feel stuck kinda like cardamon's mom sleeping or bee never aging bc the old her is long gone. It hits u in a way depression hits u
The last bit (about the dad being at sea and possibly not knowing about cardimon and whatnot) got me thinking... We're not (to my knowledge) shown/specified when ~exactly~ Bee's dad created her (and we don't really know if she "ages" at all, or if she's got a permanent "adult" body, although it is lightly referenced that she and deckardt are childhood friends) what if she and cardimon are linked? Bee's dad built a relationship with cardimon's mom, all that good stuff, they aspire to grow a family, but Bee's dad had to leave/the two get separated somehow. He's left heartbroken, and decides to create Bee to fill that family void, unknowing that cardimon exists
And we have the mom eat thw donuts and vry jellyfish tears because we gotta make it sad that he didn't use it to make her wake up *crying hard* im not salty!
Well hopefully in future seasons Cardomon’s grandmother or his father comes to care for him. From how the season ended, he might have to move away and be a reoccurring character
I really do think that the princess is Puppycat/Space Outlaw's princess and that it's a continuation of their story in a way from her perspective. The princess looks different because she's now hiding her existence/appearance. The princess doesn't want to talk about her father or the betrayal but she does want to tell her son a story of how he came to be. I believe her hitching a ride with the octopus is the romance shared between her and the outlaw but she believes they're both too different (almost as if they were different species) to make things work long term. In the end although they were separated, she left a piece of herself with him and their time together resulted in the creation of life (Cardamom in real life and the jellyfish in the story). I think the space princess regretted turning her outlaw over to her father but was very afraid of him and ran away after the outlaw was transformed and she discovered that she was pregnant. I think since she left, she's been disguised as a human and that is why Puppycat didn't recognize her. There could also be some magic tied to his transformation that made it difficult to access some of his memories that explains more of why he didn't recognize her (especially since he doesn't really act like a big bad space outlaw in most of the show).
Cardomon and bee has the same birthday. Cardomon is a robot, he was made by bee's dad. The mum donated her hair to the dad, so he could finish the robot, it was only platonic love. They made loads of robot children using her ever growing hair. This is a story to prepare Cardomon for his many siblings out in space. tbh The more I think about this the more it falls apart tho. awh well.
We've seen lazy in space, this doesn't contradict that at all, it really only made it more likely. It may not be a literal sailor, but it could be another man with another spaceship.
@@CartoonUniverse didn't expect you to reply. Well, for one, the cardamon jellyfish princess theory was disproven, when we saw Violet's backstory, confirming she is not a princess. But for the last theory,it is confirmed that she was travelling through space, not islands. Also, you can see in the tears there are more then jellyfish, making it more unlikely, in the finale of lazy in space, it is revealed she can EASILY see her son, so there is no reason to wish for it, and even goes back to sleep with him afterwards. I do admit, though, it is possible for the sailor part to happen, though unlikely. Moreover, where does the sailor return her? Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Btw, love the helluva boss vids.
well here’s the thing, the theory that cardamon’s mom being the two princesses is actually really reliables because wasn’t she exiled from her kingdom when she couldn’t capture the space outlaw (aka puppy cat), so what if the black dot on the jellyfish princess’s head is actually a wound from removal of her antenna. now if we rlly wanna get wild we could also say that the wizard kid’s parents are ACTUALLY the servants from the kingdom to help raise cardamon but something happened to cause them to remain absent from the storyline (like they were requested back to the kingdom) OR their actually all orphans sent from the kingdom to help cardamon become a proper prince (because he would be the next descendant in line for the throne since his mother was banished) but thts just a lil fun theory i like to think of. my BIGGEST theory is tht what if bee’s dad recreated his daughter not only cause he didn’t want her die, but to protect cardamon. because like i said he would be the next to the throne, so ofc things would come for him, space enemies or even (out of frustration with his daughter) the king ?? what if bees dad was close with cardamon’s mom she fell into the comma thing he promised her to protect her son but realized he himself was in danger/was sick, and decided why not deck out my dead daughter and set commands to look out for cardamon? Why do u think that Bee is so worried for cardamon when he gets sick?? because she is programmed to be. almost like a older sister or caring parental guardian (also at 2:24 there is a picture in the back of cardamon, bee, and cardamon’s mom so they were obvi close)
2:24 wait... 1) Cardomon's mother (I guess) looks like Rose Quartz from Steven Universe lol 2) WHY IS- I- IS THAT BEE?! HOLDING CARDOMON? WITH CARDOMON'S m o m NEXT TO HER?! I- SOSKS!SNAJMAAM
Her giving him the hair is basically the "bedroom" scene but there are jelly fish instead of a stork 🥲😂 Illutrating concieving children as a beautiful yet tragic fairytale sounds like a good idea for 4th graders who are about to be enlightened
Cardamom should be in stasis, like his mother. He's accidentally woken up early. Where does his dog fit in, as there are no idle characters in this show. Who is Toast, where are the Wizard kid's parents? Is Cardamon a half sibling of Bee?
It's sad and touching at the same time that instead of making a wish to wake his mom up, the boy gave ALL of the wishing doughnut to his mom 😭 he could have ate it and make the wish but he didnt! Just goes to show how innocent and selfless the little boy is. I really dont want to see him struggle by his own 💔
ik that this is an old post but didnt cardamon's mom start crying jellyfish after cardamon fed her a pice of the crystal doughnut in the last episode or so what would that signify EDIT: nvm i missed the part where you mentioned that
does nobody realize at about 4:05 the middle character between the princess and the outlaw (i think) has the same color scheme that in the episode donuts, sticky had when she ate a piece of the donut
What if Cardamon’s mom is actually the octopus? She fell in love with someone who was royalty and he left her but left something behind (probably her pregnancy with Cardamon) but like the fairytale says, the octopus dies and so has Cardamon’s mom in a figurative sense
I have seen the new season up to episode 10 and its amazing. My theory is his crew betrayed him and even killed princess. In episode 9 which is full of lore but is also all a dream, we meet bees dad, and cardimons mom. Now this will get really Speculative if you havent seen it and i cant believe this is in a kids show but bees and cardimon are half siblings in a way? I think he and violet ran away after betraying puppycat, (cause his ship is on the island and is still weapons capable episode 10) and when the princess came to follow his ship they shot her down hence her ship in the water and the surrounding water is littered with parts. They must have made bee around the same time as the wizard kids to fit in as a family and later on had cardimon as a real couple. Hence the family photograh. He ia taking the picture of his wife and 2 kids. I mean i dont know how old violet was when they depict her but bee's dad was a baby and im not sure how she and puppycat age being monsters and all.
They are fine. Toast had twins. But there is soooo much more to talk about. Each episode is crazy lore filled and i hope they get a season 3. I saw them all now and dont know how to tell people.what they missed on season 1!
They literally put all the answers in season 1. Look at the wall paper at 7:30 its the same shape and color of her eyes and on the wall is a "family photo" Bee's dad presumably is the one holding a camera and om going to blow up with how i think Sticky is an andriod like Bee.
I think the bottle around cardemons mums neck is a bottle of octopus ink , it’s dark in colour and obviously ties in to the jellyfish story idk I think these theories are extremely accurate but I think it might go a little bit deeper w cardemon and his mother ( I haven’t watched all of the show and it could be really obvious but idk )
Some of these questions were not answered in Season 2. However, I think that anyone wanting to know more about Cardamon and his mother, you’ll like S2E13
I think the jellyfish princess story is more in reference to Bee. I think the octopus tearing itself apart into a bunch of jellyfish is the origin for the Tamagotchi creatures that seem to make up Bee's consciousness
i think i know what happened to bee, she was a sick baby and was about to die but her father saved her and made her into a cyborg but instead of blood she "bleeds" pastel ribbons but that just a theory
Honestly I’ve always thought she was the princess from puppy cats story, she had the exact same hair, and it seems as if she’s from outer space. Also maybe explaining cardamons accent. But this is just a theory (Edit) just think about it, in puppy cats story did the princess show up in the end? Which may be a evidence to this series? Although another question who the hell is cardamons dad
One thing i will point out is Cardimon isn't eating the candy he brings to his mom, he just places one plate on top of another. These are offerings to her I believe, perhaps in the hopes that she will smell the sweets and wake up. Also, for the origami, you can see paper cranes among the many shapes, and i wonder if Cardimon is trying to fold 1000 paper cranes (there is myth that if you fold 1000 paper cranes, you will get y our wish granted.)
No, that’s Violet, she’s Puppycat’s assistant. Somewhat Puppycat dosen’t like her attitude when she asked if he could still pilot the diamond-like ship. Also there’s spoilers in TH-cam.

I can't wait to see more, I'm so happy that others have seen Puppycat! Gives me hope for season two
I feel like the princess analogy is just representative of her being a landlord of a huge apartment complex that was probably in her family for generations. She probably left and fell in love, but eventually returned where the person she loved for some reason couldn't follow.
Why do I feel like the Octopus tearing itself up could be a metaphor for falling into despair and then hanging?
Umm... Is it bad that I chuckled at this a little???????
This is so stupid.
Cardomon’s mom makes me cry every single time I see her and see the story
I am here for the Bee and Puppycat content 💕
@honey sbahi ÙwÙ Idk dude. Kids shows can touch on really shocking subjects. It'll probably be more along the lines of what your saying, I just brainstorming lol
I've been dying to tell someone this. But if you stop at 2:24, you'll see Cardamon, his mom, and apparently Bee? on the frame. My theory is that Cardamon and Bee are Siblings. Or related in some way.
My dude, you are one of the few ones closest to the real deal. But for answers, S2 is out HAHHAHHAH it's link is around the comment section somewhere 😂

3:57 her hair is Abit similar to the mother..? Because of the tips the waves and all that. (Just a thought) and she could have also hidden/gotten rid of her antenna because she had went to earth changing her appearance.
Just a thought ://
My brain: *ROSE QUARTZ??? PINK DIAMOND???*
I dunno why that story remind me of Pink's
Damn, what if she was actually the space princess, then went to earth to become the jellyfish princess, then I think she was punished to get in a coma cause she left her planet or the atmosphere is toxic to her kind
OK but why does the jellyfish princess look like a Steven Universe gem lol

In ep 10 when he fed his mother the wish donut she cry's out jellyfish also he should of ate the donut and wished she wakes up.
So when the sailor took back cardomons mum back to her ‘ castle’ they did some funky stuff on the boat and thats how cardomon was made
What if his mother represents the octopus? She sees Cardamon as a peice of her lover that she left behind
Also, the doughnut Bea gave Cardamon was different than the others, so maybe it has different effects other than granting wishes

Did anyone think about this
Bee doesn't have a father or a mother supposedly.
I thought Cardamon’s mom was Violet, they have the same hair and skin tone.
She is Violet. This video was made 2 years ago, before Lazy in Space aired !
I think it's pretty clear that the Jellyfish story is about "where babys come from"
CARDEMON *IS* A PRINCE. HE DESERVES EVERYTHING
Sometimes in stories the Father isn’t relevant or show any existence at all.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the birds eye image of the princess riding on top of the octo in the sea literally looks like sperm entering an egg. Further hinting that this whole story was a metaphor as to how his mum and dad met and conceived him.
You are telling me that she is just a normal humman being. ;=;
it always drove me crazy how cardamon fed his mom the entire donut, when just a little piece worked for his dog. why didnt he just save some for himself and wish that his mom would wake up
i was rewatching bee and puppycat, and i noticed that after cardomon's mom ate the donut, she started crying and you can see small jellyfish in her tears. could this be something that ties her into that tale?
Wow, the Princess so strong, she even Can Cut Hair with his hand
To anyone looking at the newest comments. This is referring to the original first season to the series released on TH-cam, and he likely didnt watch the leaked LiS episodes. Whether or not the story line actually changed in the Netflix series (though it very likely did) the character isn't Violet yet.
Yess, finnaly i can watch a series that isnt ending :3
Haha, that hurts
Your profile pic brought back horrible memories of a failed proposal. 😭
Ahhh it's ending in less than a week. :'(
Everything about this show seems so chill but yet so empty inside at the same time like there could be tons of dark meaning to it but it just makes u feel empty inside in a sort of way.
I’ve never seen someone come to a theory so late in my life!!!
You took the story wayy to literal
Cardomon and bee has the same birthday. Cardomon is a robot, he was made by bee's dad. The mum donated her hair to the dad, so he could finish the robot, it was only platonic love. They made loads of robot children using her ever growing hair. This is a story to prepare Cardomon for his many siblings out in space.
tbh The more I think about this the more it falls apart tho. awh well.
" As a parting gift, she cuts off her hair.."
* Show princess aggressively ripping off 75% of her hair*
Wait, if the donut grants the wish to whoever eats it, why did Cardomon give it to his mother instead of eating it himself?
Hes a kid, he wanted her to wish to wake up, but she doesn't wish to
Lazy in space was leaked, y'all are wrong.
1) Cardomon's mother (I guess) looks like Rose Quartz from Steven Universe lol
2) WHY IS- I- IS THAT BEE?! HOLDING CARDOMON? WITH CARDOMON'S m o m NEXT TO HER?! I- SOSKS!SNAJMAAM
ROse quArTzzz
Her giving him the hair is basically the "bedroom" scene but there are jelly fish instead of a stork 🥲😂
Illutrating concieving children as a beautiful yet tragic fairytale sounds like a good idea for 4th graders who are about to be enlightened
Cardamom should be in stasis, like his mother. He's accidentally woken up early.
Where does his dog fit in, as there are no idle characters in this show. Who is Toast, where are the Wizard kid's parents? Is Cardamon a half sibling of Bee?
Me who finished Lazy in space and is somehow triggered by how wrong these are-
HAHA SAAMEE but its not like they had much to work with, can't blame them :(
I think the song playing during the story might give us an idea
I'd like to imagine her name is Cardamom

Its violet
I feel cardamon is steven universe
This part was so heartbreaking I actually cried a little when he fed his mom the donut
Honestly I want to know more what is with the bottle/jar necklace the mom wears.
It's sad and touching at the same time that instead of making a wish to wake his mom up, the boy gave ALL of the wishing doughnut to his mom 😭 he could have ate it and make the wish but he didnt! Just goes to show how innocent and selfless the little boy is. I really dont want to see him struggle by his own 💔
I think the donuts only work on the person eating the donut. So the mother has to want to wake up
I love Bee and puppycat, sucks that season 2 wont be available in some countries again.
ik that this is an old post but didnt cardamon's mom start crying jellyfish after cardamon fed her a pice of the crystal doughnut in the last episode or so what would that signify
EDIT: nvm i missed the part where you mentioned that
This just doesn't really work with what we know about them now.
The greatest mystery when is season two
It is now.

The theoretical story of the child's mother and father reminds me of the song by Through the Looking Glass, "Brandy".
does nobody realize at about 4:05 the middle character between the princess and the outlaw (i think) has the same color scheme that in the episode donuts, sticky had when she ate a piece of the donut
What if Cardamon’s mom is actually the octopus? She fell in love with someone who was royalty and he left her but left something behind (probably her pregnancy with Cardamon) but like the fairytale says, the octopus dies and so has Cardamon’s mom in a figurative sense
I always assumed cardomon's mother was the space princess, but after watching the netflix show i'm not so sure
I believe the theory you said about cardomon and his mother and father
This is so sad for the child, he's trying everything to wake his mom up
1:28 I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh a little due to the angle
Kilvieo off topic but your pfp is from sU! :D
@@lioncatsu I know, I'm a huge fan
I think the bottle around cardemons mums neck is a bottle of octopus ink , it’s dark in colour and obviously ties in to the jellyfish story idk I think these theories are extremely accurate but I think it might go a little bit deeper w cardemon and his mother ( I haven’t watched all of the show and it could be really obvious but idk )
dang see cuz this whole time i thought it was a vial of black tar heroin...
Some of these questions were not answered in Season 2.
However, I think that anyone wanting to know more about Cardamon and his mother, you’ll like S2E13
Thoughts on Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Loving that this was recommended to me once again now that B&PC is getting a Netflix show!
I think the jellyfish princess story is more in reference to Bee. I think the octopus tearing itself apart into a bunch of jellyfish is the origin for the Tamagotchi creatures that seem to make up Bee's consciousness
Isn’t Cardamon’s mother Violet? Puppy cat said so in episode 10 right? And she has the same appearance.
She is, they changed the plot for Netflix release. But she was originally the Jellyfish Princess, but again they changed it and made her Violet.
Wake up Momma. You can’t leave your baby alone.
I didn't think I would cry
i think i know what happened to bee, she was a sick baby and was about to die but her father saved her and made her into a cyborg but instead of blood she "bleeds" pastel ribbons but that just a theory
we actually have a video breaking that down as well:

"There's no Mystery here, we should just wonder about the Father alone." -Are you serious? What a dump conclusion, honestly...
Are Deckland and the others the wizards that turned Puppycat into Puppycat?
Viv Wallace 🤯
I think the jelly fish babies as they get older become humans and hence the purple hair.
I swear to god season 2 makes even more questions
Bee is a robot and Puppycat is a puppy yet also a cat yet a space outlaw.
Is it really too weird for Cardamon's mother to be a fairy tale princess?
Am I the only one who didn't see white diamond??????
ok, but like, if cardomon’s dad died before the mother was able to get pregnant, how would cardomon have been born?
Honestly I’ve always thought she was the princess from puppy cats story, she had the exact same hair, and it seems as if she’s from outer space. Also maybe explaining cardamons accent. But this is just a theory
(Edit) just think about it, in puppy cats story did the princess show up in the end? Which may be a evidence to this series? Although another question who the hell is cardamons dad
One thing i will point out is Cardimon isn't eating the candy he brings to his mom, he just places one plate on top of another. These are offerings to her I believe, perhaps in the hopes that she will smell the sweets and wake up.
Also, for the origami, you can see paper cranes among the many shapes, and i wonder if Cardimon is trying to fold 1000 paper cranes (there is myth that if you fold 1000 paper cranes, you will get y our wish granted.)
I miss seeing your pretty face
