  • Bone broth or bone stock is made from simmering the bones, cartilage and fats around the joint for long periods of time. Bone broth contains many important nutrients, including amino acids, collagen, and protein.
Amino acids are building blocks of cells, tissues(skin) and muscle. Also very important in the repair process.
    Gut
Bone broth is rich in glutamine. About 30% of total glutamine is used by the digestive tract for intestinal support.
    Brain
Bone broth is good source of glycine-key role in neurotransmitters, brain development and behavior. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Glycine depletion with brain/spinal cord damage.
    Immune
WBC need glutamine to proper function, especially during illness or acute injury. Supplementing or BB before and after major health events such as surgery, marrow transplant and radiation therapy can benefit the immune health.
    Joint
Arthritis is one of the most common cause of chronic pain.
Collagen or collagen building amino acids can promote bone and joint health
    Skin
    Is the largest organ-70% collagen.
    Heavy metal contamination.
    Make bone broth
Let bones sit in water for 15-30 minutes then drain the water.
ACV and 1 gallon of water-boil the simmer for 8-24 hours. Only remove the foam on top.

It's not just heavy metals that are of concern with collagen and bone broth sir. It is also GLYPHOSATE. When the animals are not fed an organic diet they are consuming food that is saturated with glyphosate which travels and STAYS in the bone marrow of the animal. This can potential lead to cancer.

I buy Whole Food’s rotisserie organic chicken, eat the meat, and save the bones for bone broth. I put all the bones in a rice cooker with water and just let it boil. When it cools, I stick it in the fridge. Then bring it out again to boil some more, adding more bones to it. Basically I always have the broth ready and just add water. After a while, the broth becomes clearer so it is time to throw out the bones and start over with a new chicken.

Is chicken broth and beef broth the same as bone broth? Or maybe beef and chicken broth are made from the meat of chicken and beef

    • @fenrishound5939
      @fenrishound5939 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No
Think of chicken or beef broth as the lesser thinner one
Bone broth sits for longer and has many dissolved elements in it.
When chilled Bone broth looks like gravy, Thats how you know you did a good job on it.

Why soak bones and drain. Why not use the same water to boil. And why remove the foam. What’s in it. TIA!

40 year Vegetarian here, even the smell makes my stomach do somersaults. I've tried non smelling gelatin etc I can't keep it down, it comes up again. I have coeliac, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue. So I was desperate, I grew up near an abbottoir and the screams of those poor creatures...without food shelter or water for days was too much.

Vegetation causes leaky gut, other conditions of the alimentary canal and various other illness due to the fiber and plant toxins such as oxalates for example. Leaky gut and a damaged alimentary canal causes autoimmune responses in the body among many other issues.

Imagine all those animals, birds, bugs and such that are killed to bring you the veggies you desire, there are studies that prove that 25% more animals are killed for the harvest of vegetables for vegans than a carnivore takes for food; that is only animals not including all the bugs worms etc... On a further note; these foods you desire have to be shipped from all over the world to stock your stores, the carbon footprint is huge!
Vast lands are cleared from trees, ponds, lakes, rivers get contaminated with pesticides and the mineral run off of the soil.
It is sad and frustrating hearing this kind of nonsense coming from adults in this day and age given the amount of information out there!
Unethical and hypocritical to say the least!

I used a bone broth supplement to try and cure tendinitis. It was a high quality (apparently) but to be honest it did nothing. After about 3 months I stopped bothering. Likewise in the past, glucosamine and chindroitin, also cod liver oil, did nothing also. I’ve had many tendinitis issues due to repetitive strain as a plasterer of over 30 years, and tried every supposed cure going.. I’m sorry to say but all the supplements I’ve ever tried have done nothing. And I dare say the people who claim success are experiencing placebo effect
