Hi Mamie, in a Togolese and I love your cooking tips. To also avoid splatters you can also smoke all your ingredients in the oven or dehydrate them with your dehydrator machine before blending them. Believe me, it helps save time and also takes the aromate to another level.😘😘

This shitor will also be delicious in a sugar bread, with some sardines.

I am so in love with your original recipe and I can now unashamedly tell you that I used this method several months ago. I could tell that making Shito could be an all day event and I made two pints in about 1 1/2 hours. It was delicious and I loved the chunky shrimp bits. I left out the beef cubes. Thank you for the fascinating recipes. BTW, this is great with just banku and fried fish!! 🙂🙂

Ladies I made the Shito last night after work, Nanaaba your correct much more fun to make it this way and less clean up while cooking. I chopped up all my ingredients in my food processer to save more time. Lastly the taste is so sweet you correct it so easy and take less time, as of I of today I am erasing the old method from my memory never going back to that out dated method.
