Hi Mamie, in a Togolese and I love your cooking tips. To also avoid splatters you can also smoke all your ingredients in the oven or dehydrate them with your dehydrator machine before blending them. Believe me, it helps save time and also takes the aromate to another level.😘😘

I have never given food a standing ovation in my life until I saw the ingredients in the blender turn into Shitor. Wow 🤩
This shitor will also be delicious in a sugar bread, with some sardines.
Our innovative sister who created this is a culinary genius. Let’s make this video go viral fellow Afrikans.
Nanaaba, we will definitely support her channel. TFS.

I am so in love with your original recipe and I can now unashamedly tell you that I used this method several months ago. I could tell that making Shito could be an all day event and I made two pints in about 1 1/2 hours. It was delicious and I loved the chunky shrimp bits. I left out the beef cubes. Thank you for the fascinating recipes. BTW, this is great with just banku and fried fish!! 🙂🙂

Thank you very much for sharing this , my husband is from Ghana and I made this once before for him and he tells me it taste way better than the store bought kind he buys😊, I however did not use the shrimp or shrimp powder. I will be making this for a Ghana fundraiser and I am so excited for the community to taste mines. I am learning so much from you on how to cook his cultural foods. He loves my Jollof Rice too, I make it every year for his birthday ❤️

Not too sure I will find most of the ingredients though . I may ask family back home for help. Thank you. You inspired my desire to eat something I had sworn I won’t eat.

Ladies I made the Shito last night after work, Nanaaba your correct much more fun to make it this way and less clean up while cooking. I chopped up all my ingredients in my food processer to save more time. Lastly the taste is so sweet you correct it so easy and take less time, as of I of today I am erasing the old method from my memory never going back to that out dated method.
