I can see some applications from wing chun's chum kiu form here. White crane is alive and well in the UK under the fantastic Wee Kee Jin and his senior students. Asai karate is also alive and well under the JKS umbrella.
Bill, in fact it is Karate Shotokan, but the Sensei Asai had a differentiated technique, fruit of much basic training of Karate. Only those who master the basics can do these techniques. He had knowledge in martial arts, like White Crane Kung Fu, Judo among others and agglutinate everything. Oss
@@SergioLopesdeSouzaJunior Would be very good if he continued being the technical director of JKA for a few more years instead of part ways. Nakayama Sensei seemed very open minded to let Asai Sensei introduce many things about his particular style.
