I’ve taught college microbiology for over 19 years. I’ve yet to have a student get an infected foot or toe because they didn’t wear closed-toe shoes. Lighten up.

You do not follow aseptic techniques. 1 foot safe zone. Gloves are a hazard around a flame, but the steps are correct
We use bacti-incenerators in our class. do you have one of those? If you do could you do a video using one?
Why blot dry with paper towels...there is bulbous paper for that...
Remembering from college, “fire the lip, fire the loop” might be remembering that backwards. .
