    looks simple but stun + helping side is really difficult.. well done

      This is just my opinion, but I believe that the 'helping side' isn't something you consciously memorize, rather it's something you naturally learn over time as you accumulate practice, finding the optimal point of contact for the object ball's angle. Many players, even those who seem to be hitting the center, actually hit the side unintentionally. Snooker cue balls are white, making it challenging to determine which point of contact is being used. Practicing with training balls might help you grasp this concept.

    When are you trying out for cue school sasa?

    • @Sasa_snooker
      @Sasa_snooker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not at a level where I can compete with players from China or Thailand in the first place. Moreover, even if I were to obtain a main tour card, the economic barrier of living in the UK and pursuing snooker activities is quite high, and there are many other challenges that make it extremely difficult to continue. Therefore, I don't think I will participate in Q School.

    you play evrey shot with side ? reds and blacks with side ?

    • @Sasa_snooker

      In general, shots with an angle rarely involve hitting the cue ball right in the center. The technique for this is referred to as 'helping side' in English.
      Michael Holt explains 'helping side' in this video and points out some excellent aspects, so please take a look:

      For the sixth black ball pot, can it be possible to position cue ball better on the next red by hitting cueball a little bit higher and with a little bit more right hand side?

    • @Sasa_snooker
      @Sasa_snooker  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's referring to the part around 3:30, right?
      It was a quite thick angle, so controlling it perfectly was challenging. I aimed to hit the cue ball about one tip to the right and half a tip down at that moment. Your suggestion would indeed improve the position. Perhaps without changing the left/right much, hitting about half a tip above would have given a better position.

      By the way, when you mention the time in your comment, it becomes a clickable link that jumps to that specific moment in the video.
