@@lawrencew9350 yea I have, it's the awd mini project. It's looking super rad at this point but it's a very different thing than putting a motorcycle engine in a tube chassis based around a power wheels

Gotta say guys, GHP has ground hard. You two are becoming true craftsmen. You had skill and talent to start with, but as time has gone by, and as your channel has grown, so too, it would seem, has your fabrication and production skills. What a great team! I miss the old days of hiking and using your vehicles to show us some awesome Idaho wilderness views though.
The hand pump is called a porta power. You might look into using what's called take up bearings for chain adjustments. It keeps your shaft alignment square & locked Great build guys👍👍 Really liking The attention to detail & the can. do positive attitude. . Best of luck to ya....... Thanks for sharing..!!!!!!

Just started following your channel after seeing the fire truck toy hauler build. Can't believe some of the brilliant work you do and how far you have come. So well deserved. Cinematography is on point too.
Hey guys, I have a mountain biking background and I highly recommend that you get some sort of cover over the air shock stanchions because when they get scratched it is really bad for the inside of the shock because the scratches can carry the dirt inside completely messing up the shocks👍 Anyway great work loving the vids
We used that knockout set in the electrical trade to punch holes in electrical cabinets for wire conduits and cables. Also, before you declare that the body won't fit with the off-road tires, I suggest trying it first to make absolute sure.
Hey guys I love the channel. Great fabrication and great video editing! BTW, the "hand pump piranha" is actually a knockout(KO) punch. It's what electricians use to make holes in electrical panels and pull cans in order to connect the conduit. Thanks for the awesome videos!
Came here to comment this, KO punches are lifesavers when you have to do an install on a live panel. Taken them home from work a few times for projects like this too lol
Awesome stuff guys. Worth a try but next time try putting a ratchet straps around the tire which applies good equal pressure all the way around for mounting.
Collin Kuhn Right on! I really appreciate it 🙂 I hope to take a ride with the predator bike tomorrow, my nephew is going to ride his Modified CR 120 and we are going to make a video of a fun ride, plus a top speed test so keep an eye out for that video soon!
When mounting ANY tires, always remove the valve core for the initial air up to increase the volume of air to pop the bead once the bead is popped on reinstall the valve core. It makes it waaaaayyyybeasier
This is my favorite project so far! Mad skill level!! you gave me inspiration for the project i just finished: Mini bike (originally 2.5hp) Stretched the frame. Mounted a 440 2 cyl 2 stroke arctic cat snowmobile engine on it Almost died 😂💀
the sheet metal cutter is called hydraulic K O cutter, it is used in the electrical field for cutting hole in boxes and panels for emt connectors and rigged pipe. you can use it manually or with a hydraulic pump as you have.
Try wrapping a cargo strap around the tire to push out the beads. Once they are set a bit, release the clamp a bit and add a bit more air. After that you can remove the strap and finish filling with air.
Would love to see you guys sheet metal the ceiling and walls in your shop area. All the sparks from grinding and welding can be a huge safety issue with what you have now. White would look great! Love the content.
You can ratchet strap to “bear hug” your tire and it will tighten the tire and seat the tire while you put air in it. I used that method on the trail when I rolled a tire off the bead a few times.
Get you a ratchet strap and put in the middle of the tire and crank on it . The edges of the tire will bulge out against the bead and then put air in it and pull ratchet strap off . It works great .
Gday guys it's coming together really well ,each build is getting higher in quality and fitment absolutely luv it ,I just made an electric mini car for the kids ,fun as hell took it Bush on a prospecting trip laughed my ass off all day .appreciate the motivation I get from ya vids keep em coming cheers to u both
We always called those hydraulic punches a "greenlee punch". Greenlee is the manufacturer we had at our shop, but it should get you started on a search
Put that little blue rubber band on the strut all the way up against the shock so you can see how much travel you are using on a descent and then dial the shock in regards to that 🤙🏼
You guys really do great work. I enjoy watching your vids and witnessing you guys progress! The sky's the limit and you fellas demonstrate that. Keep it up!
Just a suggestion but the next build you guys should do after this is a racing mower or offroad mower with a 2 stroke and some offroad suspension and meaty tires that'd be pretty sweet and also hello from Minnesota love your videos
Guys, I wanted to give you a suggestion for getting those tires to "bead up" next time. Ratchet Strap! The other quick way is a little starting fluid and a match. Spray a little starting fluid inside the tire then throw a match at it from a distance. When the fluid ignites it pops the tire onto the bead. Then you just air it up. It's an old off-road tire trick. (Just saw this below, my original post was going to be this; Try using a ratchet strap to crank down the middle of the tire and force the bead out to the rim.)
For your next project you should try to make a all wheel drive version of the power wheels cars, the Jeep would be the perfect body for an all wheel drive set up. To have the front axle get power you could use the diff from a ATV and axles so that it will be an IFS setup might be able also to use the transfer case, then just get power to t-case and use it to drive rear and front diff's.... just a thought.
I race mountain bikes. With those shocks, they recommend 30% sag under full normal weight. Rider, vehicle, and any additional gear you normally have. Measure it with that o-ring on the stantion. Might be able to get it feeling really good with the air suspension
If your doing a second body for the cart, please do the street body as a tuner style, then the offroad body do a mad max style of body. That would be awesome!!!

Wrap that tire with a ratchet strap and tighten it. The sides will bulge out

Although the "human ratchet strap/bear hug" was fun to watch ;)
Lighter fluid and a match :) Look up how you can mount big tires out on the trail
@@ryanhobbs3362 I've done that with ether and a semi tire on The Dalton Highway, AK in the middle of no where. Works every time.
