I kind of want this game very much, but I have some slight issues.
1: I don’t know which one to buy
2: I don’t own a joystick and people are saying it’s necessary. I want to know if this is really the case; I’m very good at flying with keys in games like Battlefield which is obviously more arcade-style.
I would definitely recommend a joystick since it makes flying real smooth!

Ok, hear me out, bomber crew/fighter wing in a story-like mission, showing some of the battles that were fought in the air, and you can have events like the bomber taking hits and its crew or the men in the wing getting killed, but the story is told from a player filled bomber/Air wing, therefore the player's actions decide how the story goes
That is basically what one of the muktiplayer servers is. TAW

4:40 I laughed when I saw the second closest bomber from the view position slow down and drop out of the leading formation. I was thinking to myself that the pilot of the bomber say “F this Shlt I’m out”. You see this bomber again for a moment at 5:04 way behind the closest bomber.
Actually the plane lost both of its engine's propellers (due to debris from the plane in front of him, who got shot), pretty bad luck xD

Would be interesting to divide the flak up into several groups and spaced out several hundred meters/kilometers apart from each other in latitude and longitude so there's overlapping arcs of fire, and well as having the bombers fly in formations and not all at the same altitude.
I kinda want huge bomber formations with Flak but with paratroopers jumping out

I was in that kind of battle once. I was with a Zero, and i was supposed to shot down an A-20. But he was a really good pilot! At that one point where he could get the guns on me, he fired, and my torn tail apart. It was a food dogfight.

Scenario you can do: carpet bomber (any) tries to bomb an army base but another plane comes right under it, making the bombs explode in his face. Keep up the good work

Do you get sim slowdowns while running the missions at all? I realize you're using the in game recording system, but when first running the mission my computer would probably be at half speed or worse. Thx for posting.
I don't know why, but watching planes get shot down by flak is very satisfying for some reason. Probably due to the fact that we've been quarantined for months now... lol
This very similar with classic army line during musket Era. Some may die from musket fire but the rest can move forward and hit the opponent close and accurate.

Even though maybe at least half a dozen of these planes die, about as many are either damaged or leaking fuel.
It would be even better if there is enemy aircraft trying to intercept the bombers while the escorts try to defend that would be epic
