I'm a Mac OS user, M1 iMac :). OBS v28 looks to be an awesome release and as a Mac user I am very excited that it will now have full native support for Apple silicon. I just subscribed and thanks for sharing.
Big props to Exeldro for all the work he does for the OBS community. However long he needs to work on his tools, I'll be patient.

PLEASE more MAC content, I'm a Mac user and love OBS and find your content useful (most of the times since some times it only works on windows). I recently added a windows PC to my setup but I use it as a hybrid system between MAC and PC, so anything on this would be useful as well.

@@Nokia17Rocks Thanks man! I am super stoked. It's gonna be scuffed as hell because it's my first broadcast, but its already given me plenty of ideas for other roleplaying streams. Currently working on Chapter 5 of 6, then polishing, then meeting with players to get backstories done and added, then we're golden. I'll be doing it through both TH-cam and Twitch if I can help it!

That split recording option can be REALLY useful for speedrunning. Setting one hotkey that resets Livesplit *and* splits the local recording means no more having to cut out PBs after a stream. The fact that this is only a small bit of the crazy amazing additions here is bonkers. Hats off to the devs!

Holy moly this is fab. I'm sure the plugins will all be updated eventually. The RTX integration is amazing. I wonder if this fixes the mic latency issue? I've never been able to hear my mic sound in realtime.

I can't wait to try the split file recording option! No more using a voice command tool to do it for me. I mean, not that I ever did use a voice tool for that... but it always sounded funny to me when other people do that.

I’m assuming the nvidia broadcast with require a 30 series card? But most importantly, is it proper background removal or is it using a few buffer frames like stream fx’s version?

Question: i have lioardboard 2 CT and streambot . Is there an easy way to import all back on or do I need to reinstall all manually. Also would you suggest to wait for a bit untill everything is compatible again ?

i had to stop my Steaming service.... there is one Stream, hahah that destroyed my career. :D that was the point I realized I will not work with obs anymore, and I focused on editing with premiere. but now. it becomes an option again.
MAN! ANDI! i fucking love your videos, you really are a inspiring and refreshing person! I always watched your videos, and tried everything out during my breakfast. I loved to do this, but then I upgraded to a m1 and everything got hella difficult... wine skinning everything, having latency issues, problems with the intern audio of Mac. codec failures, plugin problems, hard freezes, my m1 getting hot AF, but it doesn't even run hot when rendering 4k Footage. LOL!
Like, I was getting super frustrated. still a long way to go for Mac. but I think it's a missed opportunity.
I hope, I can start my highly interactive (thanks to your Lioranboard tutorials) Musikstreams again!

I'm new to OBS. I cannot get the resize window in display capture nor any of the software to crop. All it does is make the red window smaller but it doesn't remove anything from either side of me of what's showing in my background. Is there a setting I'm missing? Please help!

Thank you for the quick video on it Andi, I do have a couple of questions:
1.- When is it coming out of beta? I think I'd rather wait for it to be fully released but I don't know how long that's gonna take
2.- Do you think streamer.bot and TouchPortal are going to be updated soon to support the native websocket 5?
3.- If I already have the "Virtual Green Screen" plugin, is it worth it to uninstall it and go with the native background removal?
4.- Should I use Python 3 instead of 3.6 for my already existing zoom-and-follow script?
5.- Can I use the Aplication Audio Capture to my advantage so copyrighted music can play on stream but not on my VODs or clips?
I really hope you can answer some of these quesitons. This update is absolutely amazing! Video Configuration auto-saves LETS GOOOOOOO

Did you make this transition at 8:13 in OBS? Can you teach me how to do it? (In this case I refer not only to the change of position, but also the format, from a vertical rectangle with rounded edges to a standard horizontal rectangle)
I do not know how he did it. But i think with the Plugin "Move Transition" maybe?
The position is scale must have been with that very much, but the change of rounded corners I did not understand

Mr. Andi, Can you shed some light on my question, please? I don't seem to be getting any answers from the forum. Did they rebuild OBS from the ground up or is the Beta version incomplete? I am not a programmer so I don't know about these things. I pretty much install things by watching tutorials like yours, but it appears that some folders are no longer there. It took me several months to figure out how to install Background Removal by Roy Shilkrot and now it appears in 28 Beta that they no longer exist. Do you have any idea? I am on a Mac. Love your vids! Thanks in advance,

Just an FYI: When you click "OK" in a dialog, it automatically applies all changes. You don't have to click APPLY and then OK to make the stuff stick.
