Gone are the days that Mainland Chinese are snub. My family went to Shanghai and took a bullet train to Hangzhou to visit the West Lake and Grand Canal, it was a DIY trip and we got off in the wrong station and to our luck, there was a police station below the train terminal. To cut the story short, in my broken Mandarin, I tried to asked for direction, but the policemen manning the station sensed my nervousness and my being an alien and they tried their best to speak in English, they told us to ride the correct bus # to another train station where we can catch the direct train to Hangzhou and they even chip in the exact coins we needed because we dont have loose change for the bus fare. That event really change my perspective of China.

Shanghai super beautiful with there in 2014 to visit my aunt and saw the communication tower and visited all the streets we even went to a Pizza Hut there to have pizza the cheese was made from goat milk instead of cow milk and it tasted incredible

People treat people who look different very well in all countries it’s not exclusive to one race or people to treat others well there are bad or rude people in every culture the bad people are the minority. I have never been to a country in which I was not treated well by most of the people there, fair enough the hospitality is the biggest difference some countries cultures are more hospitable but that has nothing to do with them not treating you with respect and kindness.
