The hapee link no longer works, I wasn’t able to view it from the drive link in the desc
Thanks Tamer
I am a mechanical engineer with 2 years of somewhat experience. This resume helped me break in $100k salary. I will vouch for this all day !! Thanks Tamer !!
f*ck you then :) i'm earning $7.8k per year in turkey and I am a mechanical engineer with 2 years of somewhat experience too :D
How do you do product showcases when most work is under NDA? Just risk it for the biscuit?
What company ur working at?
Proof or it didn't happen
nah, it is reasonable.@@justincredible5406
Congrats on all your accomplishments and all the best to all the engineers out there pursuing their goals this year! You got this❤️
What is lacking with Mechanical Engineers today, is the knowledge of how to design mechanisms correctly. Did know that there's a mathematical formula that can be used for all mechanism designs? It's called Gruebler's Count. I found a way to make it practical for all 3D mechanisms. Here's the link if you are interested. th-cam.com/video/KFB8gMjxDPk/w-d-xo.html
Man, Tesla really has its choice of the best engineers. Congrats on getting the job, I'm sure you'll thrive at Tesla!
Because they pay sooo much more than the other companies.
apparently they don't actually. it's just that the name is super valuable on your resume and a lot of people are just so passionate about the product that they're willing to compromise on pay@@rooks1
First of all congratulations! And second your resume is outstanding. Learned a lot from this video.
Glad u liked it :)
Ok but whats third
It’s pretty standard
@@dragon0361 Third is "Learned a lot from this video " :)
Your style is amazing and stands out! Thank you for this masterpiece.

Thanks for posting your resume and the ATS link, running your resume through, and then mine, I was able to see where my resume sat in regards to being parsed and if I was good to go.
I am an mechanical engineering graduate who just applied to Masters programs in the US and I have so much to learn from these videos. Thank you.
Happy to help :)
@Subham Panda my entire resume is online courses since lockdown started haha
Hi, did u study in india? I'm planning to get into master's too, but writing gate this year.
Bro i am studying in industrial and production engineering....
Can you please guide me about internships and workshop like which is valuable to get me a job........
And as our college tie up with
Mercedes Benz they are hiring10 girls from our college.......... So it's very helpful if you guide me
Bro.........
Congratulations on the job! I agree project and skills sections are so critical for engineering students! I've helped a lot of my students over the years on their engineering resumes too. I also really like your portfolio! Awesome video!
Congrats!! I got my first internship this summer and now need to redo my resume for future job offers. Thank you!!
Bro this video is crazy underrated, I love to see success!
Congrats 🥳. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It will help novice like me in future. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
You are pure knowledge, thank you man 🤙
This is so incredibly helpful! I have a technical interview with Tesla on Wednesday and I need to go back and restructure my resume for everything. Thank you for covering this!
dont really comment on videos but this is gold man. how you broke everything down was super helpful. it's way less overwhelming when you reverse engineer everything by starting with the skills and descriptions in the actual job listing and build from there. this video is probably the most valuable one i've seen on YT by far. appreciate the help man ong
Thank you thank you ssooo much I got my 1st job by following your Resume idea. It really helps:)
I'm and aspiring electrical engineer and this video was great insight on what a good resume looks like. Although it also made me realize I have no chance of employment at my dream company as of now lol. I hope to get like you someday
What’s your dream company?
Shon probably tesla
I'm a EE, I don't work for Tesla but I work for one of the biggest municipal utilities and my resume and work experience looked nothing like this. Don't let this get you down. Out of college I felt the same way, was told that since I had no internships and no 4.0. that I couldn't get a "good" job. So I took the first offer right out the gate, under paid and no real engineering work. Used that experience to spruce up my resume and now working where I've always wanted to end up
@@brimmedhow was ur resume can you help me i m also EE graduate
Thank you so much for this video. This is very helpful.
thanks bro, i have been dying to find quality and practical mech.eng. Content here on youtube, much love from ethiopia

hey tamer, really enjoying the videos you've been putting out lately. this is kinda random, but before going into waterloo engineering, did you do any of Waterloo's math competitions in high school?
Good luck Tamer
Thank for your information because about this thing most of the time nobody talk
Very cool.
Best of luck for your new life ❤️

i discovered you a few days ago and you are just SO impressive bro go GET ITTTTT!!!!!!!! best of luck x1000
Really appreciate it and happy you like the content :)
Congrats. I also used this format and manage to get an interview with AMD.
I feel like you’re really lucky to be a University of Waterloo graduate because that university literally mandates 4 internships, each of 4 months. This puts you at a huge advantage compared to people who studied in most other universities.
woah, that's really great
University of Cincinnati does this as well, it's a great program!
best youtuber for engineers
Just Wow❗
Thank you very much for sharing this video man. It is really helpful. I have one question. Can you add that portfolio on a CV? Would employers accept that? Or do you have to add portfolio separately with a cover letter?
Hey amazing video! Would be great if you could do a video where you explain how to apply to apprenticeships that you aren't actually fully qualified for. Like for example if you have insane lacking practical experience and how to still seem like a good choice for an apprenticeship. Asking for a friend.
الف مبروووووك يا معلم و من نجاح لنجاح ان شاء الله....انت مصري صح؟
Hey Tamer it's really great insights that you have shared with your video ... can u please elaborate on what projects should a mechanical design engineer do ?
Thank you so much brother for the advice I actually want to become an environmental engineer so this video was extremely helpful
Glad you liked it :)
I would like too....where are you studying?
Hm I want to pursue masters in renewable energy or sustainable energy.
@@POPO-od8jb What options do you have for your master? And what have you studied as you Bachelor degree?
@@gheorghecb4720 I have done bachelor in Electrical Engineering, I have many options to pursue masters in, computer technology power and renewable energy and nuclear energy and other.
Thank you
Your resume looks solid bro.
Love the content ! Can you make a video on your experience working at Tesla that would be cool.
Yea, I’ll make one soon :)
THANK YOU for the resume parser. I just loaded up mine, and it wasnt able to be read... Looks like I've got some reworking todo!
Wow 🤩
Can you please make a video discussing the technical interview process and just the entire interview process for a mechanical engineering position like the one you worked at? There are very few mechanical engineering TH-camrs that discuss in-depth as you did.
I have videos on that topic on my channel, but I’ll make more
@@TamerShaheen Alright. Thanks a lot bro
Thank you for such a amazing video. I am not sure but the link for the ATS check may be no longer in use. Do you have any other source in your known which can be useful.
Thanks
Congrats
Wow thats neat
Excellent video! What kind of wristwatch are you wearing?
I love this so much. I don’t have much experience so I am trying to build a portfolio. If I designed a break for my thesis so that’s a huge plus. Do you have a guide or advice to things I should design for my portfolio? I am a bit overwhelmed one day I think of making tools In a tool box another day I am looking up how to design an engine 😂😂😂😭😭😭
Hey, nice video bro. I'm applying for some jobs abrod (as intern as student in electrical engineering) and I thought really interesting the fact of the portfolio. Well, I'm a freshman and next year I'll be able to handle with real things in electrical in my laboratory classes, do you think it's a good point to start a portfolio construction?
Because the professor send many projects for us and we have to create some from the zero and I wonder if it's a good way to starting mine adding these projects.
Great video! What's a good website to build your portfolio?
Did you ever write cover letters? You should make a video on that too! That would be super helpful :)
How did you acquire a bunch of skills and knowledge during undergraduate? I mean, to master one software like NX requires years for me. As for the software, I can only choose one between C++ or MATLAB. We both have 24h a day, but I could not master all of those stuff like in your case. Could you please give us any insights?
