I wish more than anything I could go back to those days knowing what I know now. My favorite Pokémon was always charizard, but not bc of the card. I loved Ash’s charizard. Especially from the very first movie when he finally realized that ash loved him and finally fought for him. It was so touching to ten year old me. Lol.

Unfortunately, I got rid of all my cards when I was a kid to make some quick money and I had a first edition Blastoise card along with 1000+ other first edition cards. Biggest mistake of my life and I still regret it till this day

I had so many rare cards from early Pokemon TCG (Gen 1, 2, 3, 4 and a little bit of 5). My parents came into a divorce and my mom temporary stashed my stuff (including all of my pokemon cards I’ve been collecting since I was 5) at her best friends house until we found a place to stay. When we found a home, we came to her for our stuff. She threw everything away and yes you guessed it; Including my freaking Pokemon cards. Goldstars, Ex’es, Holo’s, X’s, Star-tier cards. You know just those cards which were very very rare at that time and now worth Hundreds if not thousands. Still devastated by that loss till this day. But enough whining about the past, I love to watch your vids, it takes me back to the old collecting days and the excitement it came with, seeing how happy you are if you pull a rare. Keep ‘em opening bro! 🔥
Flying around with a small serpent buddy always seemed so majestic when I was younger, so Dratini for me. I was never a huge fan of Dragonite so I don't usually evolve Dragonair, but the Japanese GB promo Dragonite art is just so perfect to me. I finally had to pick one up - was even lucky enough for a holo swirl right above the grass line on the far-right!
Love your positive energy, been really enjoying the content. I've been playing Pokemon since the very first generation, so obviously my favorite Pokemon is Whimsicott from the fifth generation 🤣 In all seriousness, that was the first generation that I started trying to actually battle competitively in double battles, and I had two teams that I would swap between. While I ultimately landed on a trick room team that served me fairly well (Lost to Reuniclus that had HP fighting instead of Focus Blast T_T), I always loved playing the team that had the Prankster Whimsicott. It's still one of my favorite Pokemon, and I was elated to pull the Vstar copy in the most recent set. I miss opening up the original packs with my brothers and how fun it used to be when I was a kid. Watching your channel recaptures some of that magic, so I really appreciate the content and hope you keep doing well.
Lugia has been my favourite ever since Pokémon silver and that was strengthened even more with Pokémon 2000 and Gale of Darkness. Absolutely love that Pokémon.

I know he's not the best and I've been questioned about it before, but ever since watching the anime when I was younger and seeing Brock's Pineco evolve into one, I've always love it.
