- 2014 Dodge Charger R/T Blacktop with the windows down on some closed off back roads just having a little fun!
Here's what it's like to drive a R/T Dodge Charger from a POV perspective.
Charger's aren't the quickest vehicles on the road but it's definitely a ton of fun! Even though it's a big car it handles the corners pretty well with pretty minimal body roll for its size. This isn't pushing the car to its limits on the turns-just doing what felt comfortable and enjoying the ride.
All roads in this video were closed off at the time of filming with a lead vehicle just to make sure no one slipped by.

Can you please make a video about how to turn off transition control and how to turn back on?
+Isac Samuel at 21 seconds in the video you can see all I do is press the traction control button and then turn the sport mode on. To turn both off you just press the corresponding buttons again. Stability control can be disabled only on some of the chargers by holding the TC button down for about 5 seconds although my charger will not do it.
What were the considerations (positives and negatives) of deleting the resonators? I'm leaning toward getting the same dual Magnaflow mufflers that you have for my Blacktop Edition, but I'm not sure what to do about the resonators. Thanks
was thinking of getting a flowmaster super 10 but heard about the drone issue. whats your 2 cents which should i get and i have a 2014 dodge charger rt 5.7l v8
+Airborne Creed The super 10's are going to be pretty dang loud and should half quite a bit of drone. Generally the louder the exhaust, the more drone there is although there are exceptions. If you want it loud then go for it! If you want something with some rumble and less drone I'd check out the 40's, 44's, and this magnaflow one. Once again if you're worried about drone you can leave the resonators on (will make your exhaust quieter) or leave them off and you may get a little drone here and there but for me it's only at about 64mph. Faster or slower than that and i'm golden.
yep just ordered my super 10s 409s 2.5 in/out. so just to be clear if i keep my resonators on with the 10s it will still be louder than the 40/44 with the resonators on right? plus im not planning on taking them off sue to cost and the fact i dont know how lol so wiith it on dron shouldnt be a huge problem? as you can tell i dont have much experience witht these things lol
Not sure how loud it will be with the 10's + reso's compared to the others. Should make for a good sound though! Post a video when you get them put on, I'd like to hear! Good luck!!

I'm thinking about getting a charger weird question in about 147 pounds 5'6" do you think I'll sit an feel comfortably driving this car or will I feel like I'm in a boat?
+Kid4romCleveland I think you'd still be comfortable but you'll just have to go test drive one and see how it feels. There's no hiding the fact that it's a larger car but I honestly like the feeling. Feels very planted and gives you a good sense of authority on the road.
I'm 5'5 135 and I had a 2011 charger. You should be fine
With the seat up higher you'll feel fine. This car is amazing. We own a 2012

I paid $120 for my 06 Monte SS (LS Engine) but the R/T is cheaper, I think because it's a sedan. Either way $120/Month isn't terrible at all.
I’m a 20 year old male who’s had a DL for less than a year. I have a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T and I pay ~$380 a month for full coverage. For liability only they quoted me at ~$130 a month. I know my age, how long I’ve been “driving”, and my gender have to do with it. These are Texas rates.

This would have been one of my favorite videos if the windows weren't open. I can't stand wind noise. Especially with my headphones on. I wish more people knew that you absolutely cannot hear a car better with the windows open on video! At least the radio or AC/Heat wasn't on and blasting though. Those are other things that destroy videos. I still gave the video a like, but it would have been so much better if the windows weren't open. Damn.
It sounds like a manual with your gearing mods
+Dukiny Gaming Sport mode + paddle shifters give me the ability to rev my gears all the way through and hold them at redline for longer than stock. Doing this technique is actually much quicker compared to leaving everything in the auto mode.
Do u like the 2015 charger look better then yours?
+Monster I like the 2015 Scat Pack, SRT, and Hellcat's but the lesser models not so much. Next car will hopefully be a Charger Scat Pack once I can afford the upgrade but I'm still really enjoying this one!

Dude not trying to sound mean but you can do better than that let off the gas before the turn about a little less than half way through the turn when you're entering the apex you need to give her all she's got it may get fishy in the back end its ok if you know how to drive, you will rocket out of that corner doing close to 100 if not over. I have an R/T and I smoke cars faster just because I know how to drive.
