- Easy SOFT Nougat Recipe - Homemade White Nougat
This Homemade white nougat is the best I've tasted. In the video you´ll get an easy recipe for soft nougat. I make it several times a week for friends and family.
In my video, I use cashew nuts and dried raspberries for my homemade nougat. You can use whatever nuts you like. I bake the nuts in the oven, it gives the nougat more flavor. When making nougat, it is good if it can rest in a very dry place for a week before you cut the white nougat into smaller pieces. The best conditions is when the humidity is below 25%. When you cut your nougat into slices, they must be wrapped in something that is completely airtight, so the white nougat dosent absorb moisture and become greasy. You have to boil the sugar up to 145 degrees, then it becomes a soft nougat. Sometimes when I make it I boil the sugar to 150/155 degrees I like it a bit hard

After they are cut, they must be wrapped individually or in an airtight box. The nougat absorbs moisture and becomes greasy (melts). It must always be left outside and not in the fridge
