    🍳 125g Milk Powder
    🍳 35g unsalted Butter
    🍳 45g Almond Nut

    Wonderfullll😍🤩 Btw do we have to freeze it before cutting or just let it cool down in room temperature before doing so? And how long does it last? Should we store it refrigerated ?

      Let it cool down under room temp will be good enough. You may refrigerate a little in order to cut better keeping the form nice, if you freeze it it'll be hard to cut.
      Store in fridge for it to last longer ☺️ I recommend to finish in 1~2 months.

    Can I use coffee whitener instead of milk powder? It is very hard to find.

      Hi Hazal, yes it can be a substitute. But the end texture and taste may differ.

      @@cozypie I tried it! I put in 1/2 tbsp of strawberry jello powder along with everything else. I would use less next time because it came out very sweet. And very very pink lol. But other than that it tasted great! Kind of like the strawberry taffy I'd eat when I was a kid :) I would test it out in a small batch just to be safe though.

    Hi, if I only want to make pistachio nougat, (meaning I won't be adding strawberry powder either) Do I need to add more milk powder instead of strawberry powder?

      Yes you may compensate with more milk powder.
      However, marshmallow may vary depending on the brand you bought. You may need to experiment on the quantity to add, because it may be too hard if the milk powder ratio is too much

      Thanks for watching ❤️ the price will be different for different place and country and depending on the volume you're buying too.
      All the ingredients used should be commonly cheap, but the nuts and freeze strawberries may be expensive depending on where you are.

      I don’t recommend to, as there are no preservatives added. You can try but make sure to keep it in the fridge ☺️

      Hello Lee, ideally until it completely cools down 😉 you'll need to feel it, you may put into fridge to chill to speed up this process.
      This helps to ensure the nougat is in a solid form when you cut it 😁

      I've kept mine quite long in fridge, ideally may be about 1 month.
      Not too long anyway, homemade and there're no preservative ☺️

      Oh that means even tho we pack into packaging but still need to keep in the fridge ?

      Hi ❤️ depending on where you are, if it’s humid it’ll last around 1 ~ 2 weeks. Cooler country can last longer around 3 ~ 4 weeks 😊

      Fresh consume in 1~2 weeks. If kept in the fridge it can last for 1~2 months 😊

      Yes I refrigerate it for awhile before cutting it into the small rectangular shapes ☺️
      This ensures that the nougat keeps it form when cutting it

      Make sure you follow the same portion as shared in my recipe :)
      You can try the refrigerate it for a longer time, may be 2 hours before cutting it.

      You may roll/shape into finger looking, place an almond flake at the tip (as fingernail).
      Add raisins throughout to form a ugly looking finger. May be some red coloring for a little bloody touch.

      Nougat should be hard and chewy, but if you like it softer, you may reduce the milk powder ~ ❤️hope you made it

      It's texture should be chewy .. that should be the right texture for this nougat recipe. And maybe that's why you feel it's hard?
