Lexus LFA start up and flyby sound!

- We were spending a cold evening drinking coffee outside Starbucks when all of a sudden the unmistakable howl of an LFA caught our attention!
The owner was absolutely sound and the car was joyous to behold 😍.

Not only the sound but the design was so futurisc it feels up to date more than 10 years after it's release !
Also, the car was released after 10 years of design and development. Lexus was late to the party but produced one of the finest supercars. It is not the fastest but the driving the car itself is very emotional and engaging. It is more about the feel and overall balance

Not really. Look at the body lines on a 488 pista or 720s and tell me they look like they’re from the same era. The LFA is beautiful but that’s 100% not true.

@@connorberglund7032 LFA fits in with the gallardo and an f430 in terms of what era it looks like it’s from. It looks just as dated as a gallardo

@@ramia4920 think about it, the exhaust is the bit that makes a noise not really the engine. The resonating exhaust noise is mainly what we hear. So it’s Yamaha’s finely hand crafted Japanese exhaust system vs a literal straight pipe, I’m not surprised Yamaha can tune a better exhaust sound.

This clip of the LFA is very cool because while the car obviously sounds good and has power it also looks visibly light on it's feet as though it isn't burdened by anything unnecessary.
Convinced that every time one of these magnificent machines ventures out onto the road, it needs to be documented.

350 to 400k for a Toyota is insane. For that money you could get a car with higher brand cache that would outperform this, and sound better as well. Unless you really think this hollow tin can crap sounds good.

I saw a white one in a local supermarket/mall parking lot. I drove across the entire lot to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I wouldn't park my own car (RC350 F sport) in that part of the lot (next to a burger king) TBH. I hung out for a bit just to see if somebody would come out so I could hear it - but had to get back to work.

Fan Fact: Lexus had to use a Digital Rev Counter because the Engine revs up so fast that Analog Gauge didn't keep up with it

The only thing Toyota did wrong on the LFA was put an exhaust valve on it.
I'm sure there's a fuse that'll disable the valve 👀

@@kingerek6148 think i play with my sound too low. Noticed that theres a lot of little sound details that arent heard if you have sound too low. I hooked it up to a speaker and turned the volume up and it sounded much better.
@@flusteredweasel7483 make sure thats its the loudest app in eq even by 1% that can eliminate the muddy feel to it
