Hunsur Krishnmurthy is a legendary director. Its not good to name him like this and defame him. He may have made that comment casually, but he had lot of respect and admiration for Dr Rajkumar. Movie Babruvahana by Hunsur Krishnamurthy made history. Let’s give the director the credit due.

If there is one dark chapter in Annavara Career it is the handling of the fall out from the Article appeared in Sudha magazine. If I remember it correctly 2 journalists( Gangadhar Mudaliyar and another person) were kidnapped and hidden in their family farm in Bidadi. This had created a major controversy and you can read about this in the book about the collection of Lankesh's weekly column Teekay Tippani. Lankesh had obtained an appointment to interview Dr.Raj and on the day when he turned up at their house Dr.Raj was a no show and instead Parvathamma met him and gave some vague reason. Obviously , Dr.Raj was too embarrassed to face Lankesh and chose the easiest way to escape from the probing questions of Lankesh.
If it had been major a incident then Lankesh would have not let Raj's family . Lakesh sir is another legend . Any how he himself kidnapped by nasty person and many jealous people enjoyed it ... I was the witness for it .

Sadly nobody from B S Ranga's family and Hunsuru Krishnamurthy's family to defend themselves. Just because Rajkumar is a popular actor...the others are treated as lesser citizens of the film world. Let me tell you. H Krishna Murthy was not an ordinary director, writer, producer, actor to portray him in poor light. Has Parvathamma Rajkumar not caused slight to other actors in the Industry. One sided stories are not correct. You have to present the view from the other side also. Rajkumar is a great actor and great man...but others are not mediocre.
Truth always difficult to digest for all, this we have heard it many more years back, Dr. Raj was a such a great gentleman that he never take it into his head and continued with every one politely, humbled and like a student, he was considered all director's like a teacher.

An individual may have great talent...it will only work when it is balanced with the contribution of others. Can't give a different spin to it.

IMHO, I do not think what he says on amarashipi movie is correct. First of all it was a dual production in telugu ANR and in kannada it was KK. They had similar looks and so the casting was like that. Rajkumar could not have been given Jakkana’s sons role as that character is that of a very small boy. It is possible that Rajkumar’s role was given to Udayakumar, the king in the movie??
