Cute mugs and I've done them both ways and haven't noticed a difference. Wondering if you don't rotate but reset timer to 400 secs if you get the same great results. Tracey
Hi! Thank you for this video. I am new with this press. I was wondering though… What about the smell? What do you all do to blow out, fix or deal with the smell of the press?
I work is a well ventilated room with moving air going while doing sublimation projects. Also, with the presses I have used, the smell has gotten better over time.
Yes, these were 11 oz mugs. I don't know what size I used on the but it would be somewhere around 3" by 3". I'm sorry I don't have the exact measurements, but I just measure the area that I want it to cover and go with that.
Wondering where you purchase your heat tape? Some of the yellow heat tape leaves yellow marks on the cup I switch to the blue but it's a thicker heat tape.
Here is the one that I routinely use in the 20 mm width. I've never had it stain anything, but testing it for yourself is good as well. amzn.to/41hZ1hO
@@MakingwithMarilyn good to know, i don't like having to turn the dials to change the pressure when i go from mug to tumbler so i was hoping this would be a solution for that problem.
Guess who’s tape dispenser arrived?!? 🎉😂🌺💖🎀🙏 thank you Making Crafts Spaces Perfect with Marilyn 🎉
Yay!!!! You have the sweetest names for me Heather!!!!

That's a great suggestion to try. Thanks Tracey!
OMG! These are so cute Queen. This tumbler is so nice 👍🏽.
Thanks Unbiased!!!
I am so impatient that I peel them hot. 🤣🤣🤣 TFS
Hahaha so do I! 😂
@@DempsDesigns 😂😂😂
That's what I have always done in the past and they turned out well, so I'll just keep doing it that way.
Good video thanks looks good I dip my mugs in warm water
Do you dip them in the warm water before peeling the tape/paper off? Never thought of that idea, but I like it!!!

@@MakingwithMarilyn Thank you for your response. That seems to be the going method to deal with the smell. :)
Very nice!
Thanks Demps!
Would you mind letting me know the measurements of the designs you used? Was this an 11oz mug? Thanks you!

@@MakingwithMarilyn thank you so much 😊
I’m excited to see the finished product so I take the paper off before it cools off😂
That's me too!!!
TFS❤
Thanks for watching Kirsten!
This press is now 359.99, with save an extra 60$ on Amazon, the same link added . So now it's 300+tax
Much better!!! Thanks for sharing that with others who may read the comments.
Did you know you can put 2 mugs in at once?😊
That would probably hold the pressure more steady too. Thank you!
@@MakingwithMarilyn its been a year, are you still happy with this press?
@@Pbjthings I am but I use my manual press more often because I like having control over the press.
@@MakingwithMarilyn good to know, i don't like having to turn the dials to change the pressure when i go from mug to tumbler so i was hoping this would be a solution for that problem.
@@Pbjthings that totally makes sense. The vast majority of what I do in my presses are 20 oz tumblers so not much changing of the pressure.
Just call the messed up one VINTAGE and it’s good to go. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
That is soooo true!!!
TFS💙
Thanks for watching, Nicole!!!
